We have one campsite on our 1.5 acre property. Located 2 miles from downtown Tryon, where you'll find restaurants and shops. The property is on the Pacolet River. Guests are welcome to fish and use the fire pit area on the river. There is also a small Airbnb on the property. The river, fire pit area and bathhouse are to be shared with all guests. The campsite is located next to our bathhouse that offers a shower, toilet, sinks, and washer dryer unit.
Property line runs along the large pine trees near the river, we ask that you stay on our property only. The surrounding area is still cleaning up from Hurricane Helene. HWY 176 from Saluda to Tryon is closed. Come to the property from the Tryon side.

Moon Glow Haven is a magical countryside location. We are creating a place we can offer to hold festivals, weddings, family and friends reunions, rustic camping and more.
The lower part of the property spans approximately 3 acres. It is partially wooded with a relaxing creek running through the woods. There is a porta john onsite (Rental required for large events) and we also have a water spigot available and a 100 gallon trash can for you to dispose of your trash. We have horseshoe pits and corn hole available for some low key activities. There is a bonfire area where you relax and enjoy a fire. There is a 16' x 22' stage tucked away in the corner of the property if needed for dancing or musicians.
Come camp in the woods near the creek and enjoy the sounds of nature. It is dark enough for star gazing as well.
There are also 2 RV Sites available; one with power available and one without.
Nearby attractions include Strawberry Hill Cafe about 3 miles away, Cowpens Battlefields about 11 miles away and Tryon Equestrian Center about 13 miles away.

The electrical service is 110 at both sites. There is a spickot at site 1. And a water hose at mountain view. There is also a faucet in the large wash basin sink at the outhouse. The outdoor shower has a small, electric hot water tank that connects to the shower head.
Once you arrive at my address... It can be a little tricky. I have 2 driveway entrances. The first entrance that you come to, is the one that is used for hip campers. There is a sign that says"Rocky Top". This is a gravel drive. This drive is a little steep. You just want to make sure that once you start up, you keep going and don't stop until you reach the top. If for some reason you pass that entrance, or you don't feel comfortable going up that drive, feel free to use the asphalt drive. Once you reach the top of the Hill, everything starts leveling out. You will see a barn on your right and a shed on your left, just continue on the gravel Road, site 1 will be the first one you come to on your left. Continue on and you will pass the outhouse on your right and then you will see mountain view straight across from the outhouse.

We are on 3 acres at the base of Paris mountain, only 2 miles outside Travelers Rest, but it feels like you're in the middle of no where. 15 minutes to Greenville, 6 miles to Furman University, and right on one of the main bicycling roads. I can’t even begin to explain how amazing Carmen’s campsite was! So much privacy, soooo many amenities, and gorgeous views!! I was even able to have the pool and bath house all to myself since no one was at the other site. Carmen was super helpful and always just a call away if I needed anything at all! She even provided a bunch of firewood so that was one less thing I had to worry about bringing. This space is such a hidden gem and is so impressive!!! Can’t wait to go back soon!!

We had a wonderful stay at Black Bear Farm in Travelers Rest! The campsites and property are incredibly spacious, giving you plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained, and it’s clear the hosts take great pride in their property.
The hosts were exceptionally gracious and even invited us to a gathering during our stay. We had to politely decline since we were tired from the day and wanted to stay with our pup, but the invitation was such a thoughtful gesture and made us feel very welcome.
They’re also continuing to improve the property, including adding a bathroom, which will make future stays even better.
We’d definitely recommend Black Bear Farm to anyone looking for a relaxing place to camp, and there’s a good chance we’ll be back ourselves!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Neil’s Land. The breathtaking views of the lake were simply stunning. We spent a delightful day kayaking and fishing, creating unforgettable memories. We enjoyed the cold plunge and sauna, and appreciated that the cabin had cooking supplies, dishes and utensils. The creek didn’t have much water in it but our kids still enjoyed playing in it!

We stayed at Site 1, the shade was perfect for summer. It stayed cool (as cool as summer can feel in SC) and the rain was broken up by the tree canopy. 2 access points to the river. The property was gorgeous and the bathhouse was nicely maintained. You can definitely hear the highway, but it was quiet throughout the night with the exception of the occasional loud car. Would absolutely stay here again!

Directions were easy to get to clean up and packing out was easy would definitely recommend very great communication as well.

We loved everything about Neil's lakeside retreat. It was clean, easy to access and beautiful. There are nice fish there and the mosquitoes were not bad at all. A great fire pit was available but we didn't use it. I would highly recommend this place and can't wait to visit again.
