Great directions and owner was easy to reach for additional details which was super helpful since we arrived in the evening. Site was clearly marked and was tidy. Only 10 minutes from the Angel Oak which is a must see when visiting the area.

Really well maintain camp area with the added bonus of the farm! The bath house was spotless. I booked the lamb cuddle and bottle feed time and it was the highlight of my week! Clair’s baked goods are really good too.

I got a little lost at first but I enjoyed myself so much! I received help staring a fire and it lasted through an entire thunderstorm. River is absolutely beautiful and sunset through the trees was amazing 100/10

Super one-night spot just off I-95 in South Carolina. As soon as I pulled onto the property, Josh (Debra’s nephew) came out and welcomed me warmly. We walked a few of the sites available, and he encouraged me to take a particular spot based on my rig (a new spot he just made). The stay was fantastic! AT&T, 1-2 bars, and I was able to launch a hotspot on AT&T, streaming YouTube videos. The camp site is not far from some train tracks. I came in Friday afternoon around 4:15PM, and I left the next morning by 7:30AM. The train only came through during my stay one time, at 6PM. It was actually really cool!! You can walk up to the train tracks. According to Josh, there are some trails that can be walked too but I did not take advantage of them. Great stop …. Great for a good nights rest.

I did not get to stay here. Not the host's fault. I was running late a d felt bad about calling someone at 2 in the morning, so I just slept ay a truck stop. 🤷♂️. Hopefully I can try again some other time.

The campsite worked really well for us, and we would come back if we visit Charleston in the future. It’s close to a grocery store and gas station. The property itself feels very far away from civilization. If you want a no-frills camping experience, go here. The only tricky part was driving through it to get to the camping area. We have a 2WD campervan. The roads were drivable but better for a car or AWD. Signage was very clear.

What a sweet place to visit! Already planning our next trip there. Lovely, family-friendly spot. Great trails to meander on their property. So fun to see the animals and experience farm life in a laid back, well-run campground. Your only regret will be having to leave.

Great experience and responsive host. Firewood bundles for purchase on site are huge and I was able to run my campfire for hours on two bundles. Only half an hour outside of Charleston for anyone wanting to enjoy the city and have a quiet night of camping afterwards. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Hanscombe Point Campground! The campsites come with a picnic table and a fire pit (except no fires on site 4), and there is one outhouse in the middle of the campground. The road was a little bumpy, but our Nissan Altima was able to make it back to the campsites with some skill. There are some small flying bugs that bite if you camp close to the water, but bugs are only a minor problem and quickly go away if there is a campfire or wind. Most of the campsites are pretty close together, but there is still reasonable space between them. Overall, I think it is a great place to camp near Charleston and I would recommend it to any one interested in the area.

Great tent camping spot but I saw a few possums and raccoons nesting near the campsite. The road to get back there was very very holey and bumpy but that could be because of rain, other than that I loved it!

good place, lots of space to walk around the area, lots of animals, they are cool 👍🏻 there is their poop all around, but that's okay, they don't smell ☺️👍🏻 if you don't put away your food at the campsite overnight, the raccoons will eat it 🦝
