You can expect a most gracious host
The vibe was country back porch feeling no amenitys but beautiful fruit trees and trip back in time quiet and peaceful I stayed one night Im a country girl I felt right at home I would definitely stay her again next time a couple of days thank you april I look forward to seeing you again

This woman was so friendly and easy going! She has a beautiful property and we loved camping for a night. She has tons of hospitality and all around was a great experience.

It was literally a dumping ground. No signage at all. We never saw the host, just another camper that told us we were in the right place. We never found a bathroom. Just peed in the woods. Had to find a restaurant 10 miles away to poop. Tons of standing water in the junk piles with mosquitoes.

I found April to be a generous host. She has a good bit of land for you to use to set up on. She arrived back to her place a little after I did (I was a last minute book) and was welcoming. It was dry when I went to visit- yes, you'll have to drive slowly down her driveway still but it's passable. I have a low riding VW Jetta and I pulled it off. If it were wet, it would have been a little iffy depending onhowyoudrive. The bathroom and water are in her house, as others have mentioned, and it's available as needed. I felt it was generous for $15 as other hosts wouldn't provide an indoor toilet and maybe no water nor a personal welcome ;) at this price point. Thank you, April.

Beautiful property lots of different sites to choose from. April is an amazing host that makes you feel welcome and at home. She takes pride in what she does and loves her land, so please make sure to be clean and pick up after yourself because she works hard to keep things in order. I call her my place my home away from home. 10 stars!!! ⭐

April was accommodating and let me use her bathroom. The camp doesn’t have its own facilities for showering or toilet. No fire ring. April was real friendly. Would camp there again when it wasn’t so wet out. Very muddy.

We absolutely loved camping on Aprils lands.. it was easy to find and directions were the clearest of our experience so far, she was so hospitable and I would definitely recommend this camping grounds to any campers looking for a nice and very relaxing experience. We were able to take a hot shower that is available for use in the main house, there is a fully stocked bar, a pool table, a foozeball table, swimming pool and even arcade gaming tables. Absolutely stunning!

First let me say that April is a lovely host. She is quite laid back and accommodating. Her place has a lot of room for tents, camper, whatever. But the bathroom is in her private residence so that could put some people off. She's also working to clean the place up (it is a former junk yard so there's stuff all over) The neighbors also have chickens and a rooster. They can be a bit loud in the morning so bring earplugs if that bothers you.

The host was nice. The property was….. unique, you can definitely tell it was an old scrap yard. There wasn’t a designated camping place, April said pick a spot wherever, that’s great but being it’s on her property where she is and is living it was kinda awkward. So basically we were camping in someone’s big backyard. We did make use of an old rusty fender for our fire pit. It was quite and felt private, exactly what we were looking for. There is no picnic table available, the barrel for a fire was not offered, the restroom was in her private house. I don’t think I’d go back but we did have a nice time.

April is very accommodating and a great host. Grounds were level and just fine for tenting. Host has not had the opportunity to build an outside shower and restrooms so she lets you use her own personal one. I will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

Aprils place was super cool. We enjoyed the little paths cut into the woods where occasionally there’d be remnants left behind from the old salvage yard. I enjoyed feeding her pig and two little mini goats.

This place is super cool! April is an amazing host and super kind. She is very accommodating understanding and fun even just to chat with. It used to be a junk yard but she’s cleaned it up really well and there are perfect spots for camping. She gave me already chopped wood for free and even wheeled it out for me. I can’t wait to bring my grand daughter out soon!

While I only stayed the night passing through, I enjoyed how low maintirnce and easy the experience was! It wasn't hard to find and the tow truck in the picture made it obvious I was in the right place! I had a peaceful night sleep, took a short morning walk, and went on my way! Good communication with the host as well.

Well it does say it used to be a dump. I just wasn’t prepared for exactly how dumpy it was or that the available shower was a shared shower in the host house. Drove in and drove out.

April’s place was a great place for me to stop and get some rest! It was simple yet very quiet with just a couple of full time RVers close by that completely kept to themselves. There’s a state park just 8 minutes away and downtown Summerville is a nice area with parks and restaurants about 25 minutes away.

We stayed one night on April's property with our self-contained RV. The location is down a dirt road at the very end, and we felt very secluded and enjoyed the quietness (no loud traffic at all!). April made a point to drive in and meet us and make us feel at home. She told us we could set up camp anywhere on the property that we would like. We chose the flat grassy central area, which was perfect and level. You are still pretty close to the main house (which the host kindly offers her private bathroom/shower to use, if needed) as well as two other permanent campers on the property.
One note to add is this property used to be part of a salvage yard and you will see scattered remnants of it all throughout the property. We didn't mind it at all, it made for some cool photography inspirations and well as interesting exploration on the 14 acres.
Overall, we felt very safe on the property, enjoyed roaming around and at such a low price point it was an easy place to set up for the night especially if you come in a self-contained vehicle.
