We are located in beautiful Clearfield county Pennysalvina. Our farm is on over 150 acres. It’s has been in the family for generations. It has beautiful farm views with wooded areas. There is lots of wildlife to see. Including bear, bobcat, deer, eagles, fishers, and many other species. We have lots of hiking trails and our property also boarders state game lands. It’s a short drive to the Susquehanna River and other parks. You can also enjoy the cows, goats, peacocks, chickens, ducks, and turkeys at the farm. Contact the host and set up a time to visit and feed the animals. Learn more about our family farm and the animals. We also have a sawmill and wood shop. Nearby is Bilgers Rocks, Rock Run Atv Park, Prince Gallitzin State Park, the Susquehanna River, and many other fantastic outdoor activities. It’s a place to unwind and relax. And connect with nature. This is in a very rural part of Pennsylvania and camping in the winter weather can be difficult. So please prepare yourself with additional sleeping bags for winter. The tent is heated but because of the unpredictable and sometimes dangerous weather you need to be prepared. The bathroom is also outdoors so there will not be a shower provided till after the freezing weather. And the loo is not heated. It is also recommended that you have all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive to get to the campsite in the winter. It is possible to walk from road to site. But you should consider this when booking. RTR is a very beautiful place in the winter but it can also be dangerous if you’re not prepared.

Hominy Ridge Cabins and Gift Shop is located in Cook Forest State Park, PA, USA. Situated on 7 private acres, we offer 6 cabins (4 smaller ones with hot tubs) that offer most amenities. However, we do not supply bath towels and toiletries. We also permit dogs, for a $15 per day per dog fee, in most cabins with the exceptions to Cabins 1 and 3. Cabins 1, 3, 4, 6, all have private hot tubs on the porches. We do provide all bedding, pots, pans and dishes and silverware. Complete kitchens with all major appliances. Seven Feathers has 6.5 acres with several wildflower and herb gardens, along with a small fruit Orchard! Our property is close to Allegheny River access with a local boat ramp in Reesdale, and a fishing pier at Lock 8. From here, you can take the locks all the way to Pittsburgh.
Several ATV trails have easy access because you can legally ride on the township roads! A lot of wildlife to see, including deer, bear, fox, coyote, several bird species, and bald eagles. We're close to State Gamelands for hunting. You're welcome to eat any fruit that has ripened here during your stay.
The miles of ATV trails are also fun to hike or ride your horse on. Campfires allowed, leashed pets allowed, must be leashed at all times, dogs, cats, and horses. Bring your pets! There is a spring with potable water on the property. Beautiful sunsets here, plus an amazing view across Reesdale Road. You might catch a rainbow too if it rains! Our personal favorite view is the vast nighttime sky. Perfect place for stargazers. Watch the beautiful sunrises and "moon-rises" over the tree tops.
You can run generators anytime, but please be considerate of other campers. Very Private location. There is a bar/restaurant close by in Adrian. It's 10 miles to downtown Kittanning, where festivals and concerts in the park are held, plus more restaurants, stores, and rails to trails for bike riders. There are fishing ponds and large glacial rock formations nearby.
Tours to the places mentioned can be scheduled for a fee if we're available. We will have a small map of the area with places marked. You're welcome to cut and use fallen trees. Please don't bring firewood from other counties due to the spread of diseases and destructive insects. Welcome to Seven Feathers, where you can just relax or partake in the recreational activities. Camp Fannie is a 1970 Fan Style Liner in almost original condition, she sits on a little over 2 acres with the Susquehanna river in front train tracks out back with a occasional train passing by and on the far side another camp and Kettle Creek where it meets the river. Kayaking, canoeing, hiking, fishing and atv trails all close by. Cherry springs for star gazing, have seen elk crossing the river about a mile up stream. Hyner State Park has a lookout approximately 14miles away and hang gliders in the fall with many other State parks close by. There is a restaurant across the road from Fannie with great food. This is a very quiet spot with wild animals and the sounds at night are amazing.

Hominy Ridge Cabins and Gift Shop is located in Cook Forest State Park, PA, USA. Situated on 7 private acres, we offer 6 cabins (4 smaller ones with hot tubs) that offer most amenities. However, we do not supply bath towels and toiletries. We also permit dogs, for a $15 per day per dog fee, in most cabins with the exceptions to Cabins 1 and 3. Cabins 1, 3, 4, 6, all have private hot tubs on the porches. We do provide all bedding, pots, pans and dishes and silverware. Complete kitchens with all major appliances. Hemlock Campground is located in Southern Potter County along the First Fork of Sinnemahoning Creek. We offer RV Sites, Cabin Rentals, and Tent Sites. All RV sites have water and 30 amp electrical service. There are two dump stations on site. Enjoy the tranquility of nature as you fish for trout and bass in our two on site ponds, great for kids. We have a fully stocked bait & tackle shop on site. Campers can also enjoy water activities, which include swimming and tubing in the creek. In the winter, enjoy snowmobiling right from your campsite as we are located right beside the southern potter snowmobile trail. There are also several ATV trails close by for your enjoyment.

Seven Feathers has 6.5 acres with several wildflower and herb gardens, along with a small fruit Orchard! Our property is close to Allegheny River access with a local boat ramp in Reesdale, and a fishing pier at Lock 8. From here, you can take the locks all the way to Pittsburgh.
Several ATV trails have easy access because you can legally ride on the township roads! A lot of wildlife to see, including deer, bear, fox, coyote, several bird species, and bald eagles. We're close to State Gamelands for hunting. You're welcome to eat any fruit that has ripened here during your stay.
The miles of ATV trails are also fun to hike or ride your horse on. Campfires allowed, leashed pets allowed, must be leashed at all times, dogs, cats, and horses. Bring your pets! There is a spring with potable water on the property. Beautiful sunsets here, plus an amazing view across Reesdale Road. You might catch a rainbow too if it rains! Our personal favorite view is the vast nighttime sky. Perfect place for stargazers. Watch the beautiful sunrises and "moon-rises" over the tree tops.
You can run generators anytime, but please be considerate of other campers. Very Private location. There is a bar/restaurant close by in Adrian. It's 10 miles to downtown Kittanning, where festivals and concerts in the park are held, plus more restaurants, stores, and rails to trails for bike riders. There are fishing ponds and large glacial rock formations nearby.
Tours to the places mentioned can be scheduled for a fee if we're available. We will have a small map of the area with places marked. You're welcome to cut and use fallen trees. Please don't bring firewood from other counties due to the spread of diseases and destructive insects. Welcome to Seven Feathers, where you can just relax or partake in the recreational activities. Camp Fannie is a 1970 Fan Style Liner in almost original condition, she sits on a little over 2 acres with the Susquehanna river in front train tracks out back with a occasional train passing by and on the far side another camp and Kettle Creek where it meets the river. Kayaking, canoeing, hiking, fishing and atv trails all close by. Cherry springs for star gazing, have seen elk crossing the river about a mile up stream. Hyner State Park has a lookout approximately 14miles away and hang gliders in the fall with many other State parks close by. There is a restaurant across the road from Fannie with great food. This is a very quiet spot with wild animals and the sounds at night are amazing.

This is a rustic cabin in the forest. It has electricity, bedding for 4, a kitchen, living room, bunk room, and bedroom. It's in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest amd has access to close by hiking trails and great fishing streams as well as nearby the Allegheny River. The Hickory Creek Wilderness Ranch is very nearby for horseback riding.
There is no running water, but there is a spring that is about a 2 min. drive away and jugs at the cabin for fetching water.

I loved camping at the tree house at Muddy Myst! The hosts were incredibly attentive to any questions we had during our stay and we were warm and cozy inside the cabin despite the chilly Temps outside. Our dog had the best time out of all 3 of us though! She was able to be off leash and run through the snow to her hearts content. We definitely will be back to make more memories here in the future 😊

This was the perfect little space to get away from life in the winter. The little propane heater was enough to warm up the space in the middle of the night and early morning. I didn't have the right gear to hike in the snow but I will be back to try out the trails in the spring! There was plenty of fire wood and a solo stove which we didn't really use but I appreciate that it was available. Also the hosts were very friendly and offered extra lights and things to make my stay more cozy. I will most definitely be back with better gear ❤️ Thank you again for making this quiet space available for people to get away from the busy world!

We stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Our host showed us around her farm and the site was nice and private. It dropped to 2 degrees during our stay but we were able to stay warm with layers and the propane heater kept up just fine. Can’t wait to go back next year!

You are tucked away against a large creek if you like water activities. Nearby hiking trails. Check out the butcher shop in Sheffield if you like to grill!

The cabin is by a stream and a magical patch of woods. There were plenty to explore and my friend and I had a great time. The pink trail was a great walk, but it was also fun to just follow along the creek if you don’t mind traversing back and forth the creek. Near the banks of the creek there were some interesting fungi. We also found a deer skull. It’s a hunting permitted area so depending on the time of year you would need high vis gear, which we didn’t have but used whatever we could find on walks. It’s also close to the lovely town of Brookville so that’s there for people who want a few hours on the town or ice cream. It’s a real no fuss place and yet it has everything you would need staying at a somewhat primitive cabin. Offers just enough shelter for people who want to spend time in nature in the winter but are not super hardcore about the weather/ doesn’t want to spend money on a lot of winter specific gear.
The fireplace heats up the upstairs sleeping area really well. We were here during Christmas time, yet some nights we were sweating in our sleeping bags. Downstairs doesn’t heat up that well and if you’re bothered by it you’ll have to keep a flame going through the day.
Host was communicative and attentive, someone came and checked on us at one point too. Plenty of firewood was ready for us. Only wish there was more potable water though, but we bought jugs of water ahead of time so it was never a problem. Overall a great time and definitely would come back.

The loft in the trees was the perfect place to stay on a winter night but still be surrounded by nature. The outdoor mood lighting on the property perfectly highlighted the slow falling snow that welcomed my one night stay here. In the morning the land was peaceful with birds chirping and the creek bubbling slowly on my morning walk. The bathroom was Amazing!! Way better than anything I could have anticipated. This is a really well done Hipcamp and I would definitely stay here again. I appreciate Liam & Jolene for being so welcoming and for sharing such a wonderful space. My kitten loved being in the nature and away from cars and other people, thanks for having us!!

An absolute gem of a site. The cabin itself had everything we needed. Was already warmed up for us upon arrival on a snowy evening and held heat well throughout our weekend. Ben gave us a great hiking recommendation that we took advantage of and it was just what we were looking for. Enjoyed our evenings by the campfire and morning coffee on the steps by the river. Fantastic property! We rented the tree cabin but the tent sites also looked great. All the amenities you could ask for while still being rustic and private. We visited for our annual fall leaf peeping trip, but we fully intend to come back in the summer--we are excited to take advantage of the cute little pond for swimming and kayaking.
