Camp Fannie is a 1970 Fan Style Liner in almost original condition, she sits on a little over 2 acres with the Susquehanna river in front train tracks out back with a occasional train passing by and on the far side another camp and Kettle Creek where it meets the river. Kayaking, canoeing, hiking, fishing and atv trails all close by. Cherry springs for star gazing, have seen elk crossing the river about a mile up stream. Hyner State Park has a lookout approximately 14miles away and hang gliders in the fall with many other State parks close by. There is a restaurant across the road from Fannie with great food. This is a very quiet spot with wild animals and the sounds at night are amazing.Welcome to camp Fannie located in Westport Pa near Kettle Creek and the Susquehanna river. Primitive camping at its best. Fannie is a step up from tent camping . Fannie sits 1/2 mile from the ATV trails and you can ride your ATV to the trail. The map of the site has change the debris from old HOUSE IS GONE... large outhouse for use with a new hot shower added with small changing room, both have a battery operated light for inside and solar lights outside the camper and the outhouse for at night. Fannie does have electric with a hotplate, microwave, refrigerator ,heater and a fan. I have unopened bottled water in refrigerator and extra bottled water for coffee or cooking. The water has some mineral content but not usually noticeable. The bathroom in the camper is not for use as we have the outhouse, regular hot shower and a solar shower. I have towels ,washcloths ,paper products, pots and pans, 2 portable bag chairs, tubes, games, coloring book and cards of all kinds. This is a great place to sit back and relax and enjoy the river or sit in the creek. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.. B THANK YOU.

Trash bin. Trash can is in bathroom in camper which is used for cleaning items . PLEASE DO NOT THROW TRASHIN HOLE IN OUTHOUSE IT IS ACUALLY a septic system for the house. Thank you!

Hidden Gem!

1970 camper Kettle Creek, Renovo PA

Staying in Fanny was like camping-lite, which was exactly what we were looking forward to. In a remote area, the land is across the tracks and along the water's edge at the confluence of Kettle Creek and West Branch of the Susquehanna, but close enough to the town of Renovo for supplies, and has a cute roadside motel and restaurant within walking distance. The only folks we ran into were the host and their family, who live on the site. It was much more private than a state park or RV park camping and cabins. Worth noting that there isn't running water in the camper, and outdoor grill/hot plate/microwave cooking are required. It's very stocked with supplies to do so, as well as towels, etc. for use in the outhouse/outdoor shower building. For those who need a supportive mattress, you might consider bringing a small mattress or camp pad, as these old campers cushions ain't what they used to be! All that being said the price and location are perfect for a between camping and glamping style experience.

Great BDR camping spot!

Greta spot for motorcycle camping if you are on the BDR! Helen was so helpful and responsive. Camper was clean. She even had wood (so nice when you are on bikes. Would come back

It was a nice spot. It is a nice area for near by fishing, exploring and motorcycle riding. The grounds were well kept with lots of room to spread out.

Amazing time, accommodating host

Visited this site with some friends. Huge open property to ourselves with nearby access to fun swimming hole. Camper had everything you might need for your stay including firewood, cooking utensils, basic supplies. Host, like everyone in the town, was extremely welcoming and accommodating and right across the street is a diner with tasty and inexpensive food options. Overall, would recommend to anyone looking for a private nature getaway. If planning on grilling might suggest bringing charcoal.

Amazing little cute camper!

Lovely cute trailer with outside potty and shower! Close to the water. Indoor fan. Campfire. Shower wash spray. Everything you need for an amazing rustic stay. Next time I stay I'm utilizing the river! Host was super on point with all the small things! Food across the street too! Self check in too!
