Greene Kitchen Farm has been farmed by the Greene family since 2013.  If you step back in time a few owners, the Kitchen family with 8 boys and a girl farmed the land that surrounds the little tributary to Montour Run.  The Greenes have been pasturing the majority of the land in nature's image with an eye toward biomimicry and an agro-forestal, savannah landscape.  The herbivores pulse through the landscape with flocks of birds following them.   Since the livestock have been fenced out of the creek, a little jewel of a wildlife refuge traverses the farm from northwest to southeast.  This riparian zones shades the creek, protects the water quality, and provides great habitat for coyotes, minks, eagles, white-tailed deer, groundhogs, hawks, squirrels, woodcock, and a variety of songbirds.  Greene Kitchen Farm camp sites are situated on this varied section of brook.      Learn more about this land:Bring your tent or park your pop-up along the spring at Greene Kitchen Farm. Ideally located - West facing views to the Delaware River that provides spectacular sunsets. The quaint town of Callicoon is six miles to the North and Narrowsburg is six miles to the south. Most of the restaurants in those towns and other towns nearby areas are farm to table - excellent quality. There is an abundance of things to do, places to go and people to see in The Catskills, or do nothing at all! Wildlife is abundant - you will see many deer, bald eagles, bear, racoon, birds, and much more. Pepper spray is a must for spending time on the property. We have not seen a bear on our property, however there have been sightings near by. River access is one mile south on NY97 at Skinners Falls Campground. Boating equipment and tubes can be rented there. Guidelines: 1) Please keep all food and garbage inside your trailer during your entire stay unless you are eating at the picnic bench. 2) Please take all food scraps with you - avoid pouring cooking oil and leaving garbage on the property. 3) Kindly use the fire pit 20 feet or more from the picnic table and all trees - the location it is in when you arrive is the best place. 4) Please avoid touching any electric wires to prevent electric shock. 5) Please cover the picnic table and metal fire pit before leaving. 6) Please be respectful of our neighbors by staying on our property. There are pink ribbons tied around the tree trunks to mark our boundaries - beyond those ribbons is our neighbor's property. 8) We do not supply firewood, however there is plenty that can be gathered from our property. You will see it laying all around 7) Have a great time!!! Some of our favorite places to eat: The Laundrette Pizza, The Heron, and La Cigogne all in Narrowsburg. Callicoon Wine Merchant, The Black Walnut, and Seminary Hill Orchard and Cidery all in Callicoon. The North Branch Inn - North Branch, Conover Club at Callicoon Hills Guest House - Callicoon Center. Most of the restaurants in those towns and other towns nearby areas are farm to table - excellent quality. There is an abundance of things to do, places to go and people to see in The Catskills, or do nothing at all! Wildlife is abundant - you will see many deer, bald eagles, bear, racoon, birds, and much more. Pepper spray is a must for spending time on the property. We have not seen a bear on our property, however there have been sightings near by. River access is one mile south on NY97 at Skinners Falls Campground. Boating equipment and tubes can be rented there. Guidelines: 1) Please keep all food and garbage inside your trailer during your entire stay unless you are eating at the picnic bench. 2) Please take all food scraps with you - avoid pouring cooking oil and leaving garbage on the property. 3) Kindly use the fire pit 20 feet or more from the picnic table and all trees - the location it is in when you arrive is the best place. 4) Please avoid touching any electric wires to prevent electric shock. 5) Please cover the picnic table and metal fire pit before leaving. 6) Please be respectful of our neighbors by staying on our property. There are pink ribbons tied around the tree trunks to mark our boundaries - beyond those ribbons is our neighbor's property. 8) We do not supply firewood, however there is plenty that can be gathered from our property. You will see it laying all around 7) Have a great time!!! Some of our favorite places to eat: The Laundrette Pizza, The Heron, and La Cigogne all in Narrowsburg. Just 2 miles above the SUNY Binghamton Campus. This camp offers a Country/Forest/Meadow/Creek setting with 4 acres is just 2 miles above SUNY Binghamton Campus on a quite road in the Town of Vestal. Set up at "Sunny Meadow" for open lawn closer to driveway and port-a-potty. Maybe you feel like hanging hammocks to setting the tent at "Creek Side" site down deeper in the forrest. The property runs from Brown Rd. to Powderhouse Rd. All 4 corners are marked with bird houses and along the property line on the North. A fire pit area with benches and lots of level space to pitch tents. Our close to nature spot offers open level lawn, rolling forest and Sugar Creek passing through. Property is lined with Blue Bird houses along with an Owl House, Bat House and a Fox Den.(Not sure what's been occupied so far.) We are building a nature preserve with song birds singing, frogs crooking and deer passing though the area. The road features some beautiful homes and ask guests to show courtesy and to be a good neighbor. Please understand that our property is in the process of removing the dying Ash Trees (Emerald Ash Borer is a problem) and ask for campers to set up near open area/driveway and not the site in the middle of the woods. We are just going to be extra cautious until our removal and re-planting process is completed.**PLEASE NOTE** Cell service is 1/4 mile at top of hill going North toward Fuller Howell Rd.

We spent 2 nights and had a nice stay. It was cooler weather so not many people camping, nice and quiet. Rus who manages the campground was awesome. Friendly, helpful, fun guy. Some feedback for the Hipcamp listing, all we got was an address which lead us to a cabin a mile or so away from the actual site. We had to knock on someone’s door to get help figuring out where to go. I had messaged the host early in the day to let them know when we’d be arriving. No response.

Had such a lovely stay with Jackie and Chris. Not only were they super accommodating of our last minute booking, they moved our campsite to one safer and dryer in the weather. We spent a beautiful cozy night despite the rain, we even got to have a little fire before it got too wet! Wood bundles for purchase are large and generous. Got to meet both Chris and Jackie and felt like we'd known them for years. Highly recommend this sweet little spot-- we'll be back!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Adam's place and we already cant wait to go back! The site is so quiet and peaceful, yet a short drive to many of the great little towns in the area. Nearly every morning we awoke to wild turkeys wandering in the meadow, and saw many deer throughout the day. The view of the Delaware River down the hill never gets old! Adam was a pleasure to work with and provided many great local recommendations. Thanks again Adam, looking forward to staying with you again soon!

Nice spot on my route. RV space where I camped in my car. Did need all of my light blocking devices, but got a good night’s sleep. Chris greeted me, and made sure I had what I needed. Thanks Chris!

Open field site with a lovely overlook of the river. I checked in at the main office, took the offer for their (permanent? sleeps 4-6) tent on the property, and the host even kindly helped jump start my car on my last morning as it had had some battery issues recently. Wifi available but spotty far away from the main office, I didn't have a chance to check out the bath facilities.
