"Sugar Creek Camp" is actually in the Town of Vestal in the "Vestal Hills" at; 34 Brown Rd., Vestal,NY 13780. Just 2 miles above the SUNY Binghamton Campus. This camp offers a Country/Forest/Meadow/Creek setting with 4 acres is just 2 miles above SUNY Binghamton Campus on a quite road in the Town of Vestal. Set up at "Sunny Meadow" for open lawn closer to driveway and port-a-potty. Maybe you feel like hanging hammocks to setting the tent at "Creek Side" site down deeper in the forrest. The property runs from Brown Rd. to Powderhouse Rd. All 4 corners are marked with bird houses and along the property line on the North. A fire pit area with benches and lots of level space to pitch tents. Our close to nature spot offers open level lawn, rolling forest and Sugar Creek passing through. Property is lined with Blue Bird houses along with an Owl House, Bat House and a Fox Den.(Not sure what's been occupied so far.) We are building a nature preserve with song birds singing, frogs crooking and deer passing though the area. The road features some beautiful homes and ask guests to show courtesy and to be a good neighbor. Please understand that our property is in the process of removing the dying Ash Trees (Emerald Ash Borer is a problem) and ask for campers to set up near open area/driveway and not the site in the middle of the woods. We are just going to be extra cautious until our removal and re-planting process is completed.**PLEASE NOTE** Cell service is 1/4 mile at top of hill going North toward Fuller Howell Rd.

A secluded picturesque location on a lake surrounded by woods. It was a bit cold to fish but I would like to return in warmer weather to give that a try. It is close to Gouldsboro State Park which the host, Jerry, recommended. I enjoyed a 5 mile hike there and discovered it has one of the best bass fishing lakes in eastern PA. They have boat rentals during the summer.
I didn’t meet Jerry but he checked in by text and was available for any issues or questions.
It was just what I was looking for and I would recommended it especially if you want to camp without being crowded by neighbors.

If you're looking for a quaint getaway, this is it! It has beautiful views of the mountains and Susquehanna River. It was convenient to have full connections for electricity (30 amp), water, and septic. Also, an added perk was off- leash for dogs, our dog loved the freedom to just roam and play frisbee. We couldn't have picked a better property to unwind, recharge, and enjoy nature's beauty. Specials thanks to the host, Stan.

Jerry is a great host and plays a Killer Harmonica, The campsite has Pretty much everything you need to have a Good time, Kayaking on the pond is a real Bonus. Plenty of parking for Cars and trucks as well, Will Be booking again soon !

Stan was a gracious, friendly, and beyond accommodating host. To say that this is God's Bounty, is an understatement! Peace and tranquility abound this gorgeous serene paradise. The only disappointment you will experience at this site, is when you leave this real life country painting. Thank You for making our birthday celebration memorable. We had such an amazing time, we would love to make it an annual birthday retreat.

Stan has a beautiful, private site that overlooks the surrounding mountains and the Susquehanna River. The viewes were amazing. My husband and I stayed here for the Fourth of July with our two dogs. Our youngest dog is very people and dog reactive and we had a great experience with her. Stan was very welcoming and accommodating. He was easy to get hold of if we had any questions and very helpful. We will definitely be going back to this site!

It was beautiful camping right near the creek, listening to the water and watching pileated woodpeckers and chipmunks!
Host was consciencious and called me beforehand to tell me where the sites are and that the road may require 4 wheel drive, prompting me to bring a pull wagon. It was wet the weekend I went so I just parked in the driveway and wagoned my stuff down the short walk to the creekside campsite.
