We are a community in Northwestern Pennsylvania located outside the town of Springboro. Many people come through the area to visit Lake Erie. Others come in to hunt in the nearby state game lands. Fishermen especially seek places to stay, but they can be hard to find. We look forward to welcoming them to our community. One of our residents has a greenhouse with beautiful plants and another sells honey. In town, our neighbor has a hunting store that includes an indoor simulated archery experience. The Hosta Cabin sits on about 7 acres of peaceful lakefront property with 450 feet of frontage on Lake Erie. We have stairs that provide direct access to the beach, and there’s ample room to hang out, enjoy a campfire, or take a long walk by the water. If you’re traveling with children or want to camp, there’s also plenty of space for a tent. There are two cabins on the property, each with its own fire pit and chairs. While they are next to each other, there’s ample space between them, and they’re close enough for a family or group to rent both for a shared stay. We live on the property, so you may see us or our friendly dog around. While we try to give our guests space, we’re always available to answer questions and enjoy a friendly conversation when welcomed. An absolute gem of a site. The cabin itself had everything we needed. Was already warmed up for us upon arrival on a snowy evening and held heat well throughout our weekend. Ben gave us a great hiking recommendation that we took advantage of and it was just what we were looking for. Enjoyed our evenings by the campfire and morning coffee on the steps by the river. My partner and I loved this cute cabin , right next to Lake Erie! It’s a great size, very clean, and had all the amenities we needed for the start of our cross country trip back home , including a buddy heater for the cold night. Thank you so much for the extra blankets too! We were perfectly snug. We wish we could have spent another night. We got gluten free pizza at Villaggio Italiano, which is right down the road — it was delicious! Couldn’t recommend this spot more!
