Welcome to our cozy getaway in the woods, with a perfect blend of comfort and nature, providing the relaxing escape you're looking for! Enjoy the quiet mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee, overlooking the seasonal creek that runs alongside the cabin, enjoy a soak in the hot tub, or curl up with a good book in the evenings. Zig-Zag river is a short distance. Local restaurants/shopping <2 miles away. Skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, and paddling, and other recreation nearby. 15-20 min to SkiBowl & Timberline, and about 30 minutes to Mt. Hood Meadows ski resort! Step inside to discover an inviting retreat, recently renovated and fully furnished with a rustic atmosphere, including electric fireplaces to create a cozy ambiance for your mountain getaway. As you enter the main bedroom, notice how the room overlooks our seasonal creek and has private access to the back deck. There is a king bed, a Smart TV with streaming capabilities, and a walk-in closet with space to hang or store personal belongings and clothing. With a fully stocked kitchen and a propane grill on the back deck, you are able to prepare delicious meals with ease. Right off the kitchen, there is a utility room that includes a washer and dryer for your use. For the winter season, there are also racks on the wall to hang your skis or snowboards to let them dry out after a day on the slopes. The living space makes for a relaxing place to curl up with a book, whether you bring your own or choose to read one from our bookshelf. There is also a Smart TV with streaming capabilities and one of the couches folds down into a futon for an additional sleeping area. From there, you will find the spiral staircase that retreats up to the loft area, which has accommodations of two full size beds.

My husband, Chandler and I were both lucky enough to have grown up in the beautiful Mt. Hood area. Now with hard work and determination we are raising our five children in this magical place. A few years ago Chandler sold a large portion of his company and we purchased our rustic log cabin. We love the idea of sharing our peaceful cabin and property with the world! We recently decide to put our primary home on the site, to allow us to catch up on our debt. We are so thankful that both our places are loved by our guests. Renting our homes has allowed us to work a little less and enjoy our little ones while they are still little. Learn more about this land:Rustic log cabin on secluded 34 acres with exceptional Mt. Hood and Zig Zag wilderness views all around. Only 3.3 miles from highway 26. The property is horse trailer accessible. Just moments away from endless hiking, horse trails, and sandy river beaches...not to mention all the other Mt. Hood area attractions. We also rent our property for weddings, family reunions, camp-outs, graduation parties and other events. Bring your own bedding and towels or we can supply them for you to use for an additional fee. Pets welcome with additional $65/pet cleaning fee. Additional $50 per person fee after first two people.

Weekend Trip to Fernwood Cabin Mountain Getaway

We had a wonderful girls weekend trip here. Hung in the hot tub, went for hikes, chilled and watched movies and drank wine. The beds were comfy and the location was awesome! Will be staying again!

The cabin was in a fantastic location with a great backyard and felt very private. I really enjoyed using the hot tub. Great communication with the hosts. If you plan on using the futon I would suggest bringing a blow up mattress as it’s extremely uncomfortable.
