Welcome to our cozy getaway in the woods, with a perfect blend of comfort and nature, providing the relaxing escape you're looking for! Enjoy the quiet mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee, overlooking the seasonal creek that runs alongside the cabin, enjoy a soak in the hot tub, or curl up with a good book in the evenings. Zig-Zag river is a short distance. Local restaurants/shopping <2 miles away. Skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, and paddling, and other recreation nearby. 15-20 min to SkiBowl & Timberline, and about 30 minutes to Mt. Hood Meadows ski resort! Step inside to discover an inviting retreat, recently renovated and fully furnished with a rustic atmosphere, including electric fireplaces to create a cozy ambiance for your mountain getaway. As you enter the main bedroom, notice how the room overlooks our seasonal creek and has private access to the back deck. There is a king bed, a Smart TV with streaming capabilities, and a walk-in closet with space to hang or store personal belongings and clothing. With a fully stocked kitchen and a propane grill on the back deck, you are able to prepare delicious meals with ease. Right off the kitchen, there is a utility room that includes a washer and dryer for your use. For the winter season, there are also racks on the wall to hang your skis or snowboards to let them dry out after a day on the slopes. The living space makes for a relaxing place to curl up with a book, whether you bring your own or choose to read one from our bookshelf. There is also a Smart TV with streaming capabilities and one of the couches folds down into a futon for an additional sleeping area. Great getaway spot!
Fernwood Cabin Mountain Getaway
We had a wonderful girls weekend trip here. Hung in the hot tub, went for hikes, chilled and watched movies and drank wine. The beds were comfy and the location was awesome! Will be staying again!

Fernwood Cabin Mountain Getaway
Sure, the cabin was nice, everything was as pictured. The hosts are a little much tho and that’s why I can’t see myself ever returning. Too many book-long paragraph texts sent in the chat of repeating info turned me off, then there’s the massive rule book in the house, along with plaques of reminders everywhere you look. If they’re this anal about everything, why rent out the place? Also, why charge a $120 cleaning fee and make a rule requiring guests do all of their own cleaning? It should be one or the other, not both.

The cabin was in a fantastic location with a great backyard and felt very private. I really enjoyed using the hot tub. Great communication with the hosts. If you plan on using the futon I would suggest bringing a blow up mattress as it’s extremely uncomfortable.
