You will appreciate the peace and quiet of this little cottage on Rock Creek, situated on 11 acres of forest in Williams Oregon. The only sounds you'll hear are the birds in the trees and the flowing creek water. Enjoy sitting on the deck overlooking the confluence of Rock Creek and East Fork Williams Creek. A bridge crosses Rock Creek and there is a hiking trail beyond. Our garden hot tub is a welcome place to soak and enjoy the stars at night. Its an older tub but still keeps the water at 102 degrees. Our cabin has a kitchenette with a small fridge, sink, 2-burner gas stovetop, microwave, teapot, toaster, and 2-cup coffee maker, plus a few dishes, cutlery, and pots and pans - enough for simple meal preparation. Coffee, tea, sugar, and creamer are provided along with a dozen fresh eggs from our chickens. The cabin has a small woodstove as its only heat source. A little wood can be provided, and we provide newspaper, matches, and fire starters. There is an abundance of kindling around the property - great for getting a fire going. The stove holds 18" x 4" split logs, if you have some to bring. There are two smaller stuffed chairs, and two bar stools at a small bar-height table with views of the creek. The bathroom has a shower and vanity sink, and towels and toiletries are provided. There is hot and cold running water, although the 3-gallon hot water heater limits showers to less than 5 minutes. A camp portable toilet is provided upon request. Nice sturdy steps lead up to the loft upstairs which has an 8" full-sized (wider than a twin but narrower than a queen) memory foam mattress with fresh linens. The loft is low and cozy which allows the camper to sit up on the bed but not stand up. A compost toilet is about 100 yards away, and has electricity. Bring your flashlights to find the compost toilet as well as the hot tub as the property is very dark. Cell service is okay depending on your server, and WiFi is available. The password is listed in the binder on the hutch. Some games and puzzles are provided.

A microcosm of planet Earth, it has been raped, pillaged and neglected, it’s future never considered, it’s native stewards murdered, all in the name of greed. After 2 years of profound breakthroughs, mind bending healing ceremonies, confusion, emotional melt downs, everything malfunctioning one after another and questioning our choice to be here, we couldn’t help but feel like we were being sabotaged by something… We were. She was trying to get our attention, as were all of the negative energies trapped here. Suddenly an epiphany struck us both, in the thick muck of a terrible physical and energetic rut, we knew we needed to heal the energy that had been left lingering here from all of the traumatic events that happened all around us for hundreds of years. Just like us, trauma was trapped inside her from other people, just like the ancestral trauma we all suffer from on planet Earth. Weekend Trip to Sunny Valley Resort

Our stay at this magical teepee was so peaceful! Watching the stars to the sound of frogs and crickets at night and waking up to a warm fire inside the teepee on the morning made the stay memorable! And our kids loved the pond, outdoor kitchen, and trampoline. A lovely stay!

If you are looking at the photos and thinking “wow this looks really beautiful and peaceful and cozy”, all of the above are true! The site was clean, easy to get to, and functioned well. We even had a surprise visit from a river otter at sunset! It was magical and the hosts were very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

I enjoyed the views, the calming sound of the river, the breeze in the evenings, & the cabin! The bed was super comfy which is a bonus! We had a great time swimming and fly fishing in the river! It was so nice to have a wonderful view to wake up to and slowly start the day at such a peaceful getaway!

Loved every part of this sweet place. Kae was so wonderful showing me everything and making sure I was comfy. And what a bonus to have a dog to protect my tent and hang out with my the river. And the little swimming hole right out front is a dream. Highly recommend this cozy place.

1 night at Cedar Bloom

We were warmly greeted right away and oriented to the site. We could park any where we felt comfortable in the camping areas, and we felt safe and able to unwind in the quiet, spaciousness. We were impressed by the unique, innovative human waste processing system they have, which was like most composting toilets to use. Showers and hand/dish washing were great (wooden showers by the tea room especially lovely). The stream by the family area though more shallow, was lovely and didn't have the noise of the pump at the deeper hole area. The sauna was sublime. The tea house was delightful and the book of the origins of Spirit Weavers was so inspirational, I highly recommend looking through it, it helped me connect to the land and intentions of this site in a sacred way that filled me with gratitude.

2 nights at Ossia Village Farm

This is our third year going here! Even on long road trips, it is worth going the extra hours out of the way just to spend time on the farm.. The farm is a magical place where kids are encouraged to explore, get their hands dirty and play. It is unlike any other place we have been. Who makes this place extra special is a wonderful man named Dar. He is amazing with kids. Dar has the spirit of a teacher patient, calm, and always excited to share his knowledge about the plants, animals, farming. He empowers kids and makes them feel they can do anything and are really making a difference on the farm. My son calls it his paradise. He is so excited to learn new things and help around the farm that he barely wants to go explore the beautiful redwoods right around the corner. This year we brought our friends and their kids. Instantly they felt the way we do about the farm and Dar. It’s a special place!

.The reverence for this powerful land is palpable.. I appreciated the shrines as much as the structures. The way the camp is set up is so well thought out. I love the tea room, the kitchen and that beautiful shower room overlooking the river. The people who work there are wonderful. Staying in the gnome dome was delightful. I can’t believe how cool it was even during the hottest part of the afternoons. I wish I had known how high above the river we were. As an old lady with arthritis, I was unable to access either one of the steep paths down to the river. It’s a camp designed for able bodied people. Even simple things like no hand rails on the steps to the toilets made it more difficult for me to negotiate. But even with the mobility challenges, it was a deeply healing experience staying there. When we left, we were surprised at the shift in energy. Cave Junction is a funky Oregon town, very different in feeling from Cedar Bloom. You have created an oasis of beauty, power and delight. Thank you!

Staying at cedar bloom was such a wonderful and peaceful experience! The property is beautiful and there are so many thoughtful touches. I loved having access to a full kitchen, chest freezer, and walk-in cooler (note that the temp was around 50-60 degrees so we kept our food in cooler bags with ice in the walk-in cooler to make sure nothing spoiled). My favorite parts of our stay were the shower house with the beautiful patio, the tea house, and all the different river access points — especially jumping off the little floating dock! The river is so clear and a stunning blueish-teal color. Couldn’t recommend this place enough — it was my favorite glamping experience :)

We got upgraded to the gnome dome, so i am unsure of how the trailer is, but we loved staying in the dome! It was homey and clean. The campgrounds were amazing with the amenities.

Weekend Trip to Cedar Bloom

The structure is very simple, but perfect for our needs. We are typically tent campers and this was a great way to just get away and not load as much gear. I was unable to enjoy a lot of the features due to recovering from bilateral knee replacement surgery. But everybody spoke highly of swimming in the river.

Weekend Trip to Secluded Riverfront Camp: 12 Acres

I had the most amazing time at Kae and Alex‘s beautiful retreat. I was working in the area for a few days and it was really hard to leave the site to go to my gigs. I can hardly wait to go back and stay fully immersed. There are so many thoughtful touches to this space and I felt so cozy and relaxed. The tent is amazing, the water is perfection and the resident dog, River, was my closest companion for the whole trip. He is so sweet and such a good boy and he dutifully followed me around making sure I was safe. Any little sound of a critter rustling in the bushes and he made it known they weren’t welcome and is a true protective sheepdog. As a female solo camper I greatly appreciated his company. He is well trained and never messed with my food, even if I let a delicious plate sit for a couple minutes while I jumped up to grab something. The hot shower was AWESOME. 💦 The fire pit was great and easily managed with a good bundle of kindling. I don’t recommend bringing large trunks of wood unless you plan on breaking them down on site. It’s best to keep the fire small and low with the metal grate on top, feeding it as necessary for the warm glow & to keep any mosquitoes at bay. Already planning my next trip to Windy River Ranch.
