Weekend Trip to Brownsville Hillside RV Site

This site is absolutely one of the coolest places I’ve been in my RV or just in general. The site is in the top of a hill that looks down into the valley. Sunset and sunrise are both stunning. All the proper hookups are set up nicely. The best part of it all are the hosts. Absolutely incredible people. For real, don’t pass up an opportunity to spend some time in Brownsville. The only downside is you may never want to leave

Weekend Trip to Sweet Relief

Trent was very helpful and provided us with everything we needed, unfortunately our trip was cut short because of our cat but for the one night we had on site it was beautiful and peaceful. I believe there is an airport nearby so you might hear airplanes here and there but besides that everything was perfect.

This is a doorway into life at a manageable pace. Morning light, day's heat, evening's coolness, trails to walk, to run, to sit and watch turkeys, hawks, vultures, songbirds, lizards, deer. A pioneer cemetery nextdoor beckoned me to read the stories of those who came before. The kindness of Jered & Stefane has created a space outside of time... a place to just be... a place to feel safe to just be. To watch light paint the day, and the night is a special kind of gift. Jered & Stefane have built that space. Respect it. Enjoy it. Repeat.

AMAZING!! Such a special place, and well taken care of. WE WERE ALSO well taken care of. I can’t say enough about this spot, we are coming back annually or biannually cos it’s just so perfect. Enjoyed collecting veggies from the greenhouse and eggs from the chickens. Dogs roamed free with us, trails were private and the hillbilly HOT TUB 🔥

Trent has truly thought of everything with this cabin! His attention to detail and his dedication to his guest's comfort is unmatched. We spent a relaxing rainy weekend here walking around the property, soaking in the tub, playing cards, and listening to records. My wife and puppy and I really enjoyed camping with our travel trailer at the lake lot. It was Mother's Day, there was a musician in the tasting room, and it was beautiful and peaceful, and we would love to do that again soon. We happened to be the only ones there that night and it was a wonderful and dreamy experience.

Jered and Stefane welcomed us to their fantastic spot with open arms. This place sits mid mountain, with fantastic views and easy access to logging trails. Stroll through the local cemetery or just enjoy the quietness from the campsite. Full hookups, level ground, plenty of room to turn around for our 35ft Skoolie. No obstructions on our Starlink. Fire pit and picnic table. Honestly, this place is fantastic. If you are in the area, check this place out!

This was one of the best stays I’ve had on HipCamp. Trent is warm, generous and has an infections positive energy. He and his family have created a wonderful environment here and built a relaxing one of a kind stay immersed in nature. I wanted a getaway that gave me time to reflect on my relationship and write my upcoming wedding vows. I Spent most of my time in the hot tub and it allowed me to do just that! I’d love to come back in the near future.

I was in the area working a gem show at the Polk County Fairgrounds, and this site provided a peaceful overnight campsite, with a quick and easy commute to work. It's also very close to the Basket Slough National Wildlife Refuge for great access to nature trails and wildlife watching. It was perfect for my working weekend!

Another wonderfully relaxing weekend at Yurt by the Creek! Our sensitive doggo loves it here and is so excited to visit the goats and pigs each time we come. We love the quiet, private area to relax, go for a splash in the stream and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Dana is welcoming and great to communicate with, and leaves us to do our thing. The super clean outhouse also deserves a mention!

such a sweet and beautiful little space! dana and jeremy were very friendly; provided lots of information pre-check-in and made things as smooth as possible. the baby goats are a super adorable plus! so nice relaxing by the fire as the sun sets, listening to the trickle of the creek as you fall asleep. stars are UNREAL, made the little jaunt to the outhouse oooooh sooooo worth it! the bed is also SO comfortable (disclaimer: had been sleeping on a sleeping pad in a sleeping bag for a 1.5 weeks, but was STOKED that their bed was the first one i slept in again). and i learned a lot about garlic! got some inspiration for future garlic farming adventures...?!?!? we will definitely be coming back! thank you so much for hosting us :)

Beautiful, private location. Hot tub was easy to operate and can fit two people who are very friendly! Lovely walk to the creek in the woods. The host was kind and helpful. There’s a gas stove to cook on. There is an outhouse but it is somehow nice and not smelly. The outdoor shower was fun. Our dog got to roam around free of leash. Heavenly

This is an absolute beautiful setting. Zero noise or light pollution for sleeping. We stayed at the Lake lot. You can't really see the pond from where you park, but it's only steps away to enjoy with your morning coffee. We are planning a return trip in the fall when the vineyard is is full swing. Green Crest is an active Memorial Park (cemetery) adjacent to Highway 18 between Portland and the Oregon coast on the South side of Sheridan. Being raised in the community, and over ten years of experience in the local food and wine industry, I can give recommendations aplenty. ꕥ The property has been in our family since the late 60’s and has recently been transferred in ownership to the next generation! It’s been a large adjustment with many precious memories in tow.
