We also rent our furnished studio apartment above the garage on airbnb or furnished Finder. This is a nice neighborhood only 10-15 minutes to downtown Portland!

Welcome to Squared Roots Farm, a Garlic Farm and homestead in Alsea, Oregon. We specialize in gourmet hardneck garlic and sustainable farming practices. (IG @squaredrootsfarm) On our farm we grow veggies and flowers. We raise Nigerian dwarf goats, chickens, and honey bees. You will be staying in a 16ft Pacific yurt built on raised deck that has a covered deck for shade and rainy days. There is plenty of space for additional tents and RV campers to join! There is a fire pit, picnic table, full propane grill and composting toilet. There is also a wonderful warm wood stove for staying cozy! You can swim in the creek right next to the site or walk over to the North Fork of the Alsea River where there is 1/2 mile of river access and great winter steelhead fishing too. Close to the farm is world class mountain biking, hiking, fishing, waterfalls, great views, and surfing on the Oregon coast. The camp spot is a very private grassy nook nestled next to Honey Grove Creek. There are nature trails on the property with blackberry bushes. We offer farm fresh eggs, firewood bundles, and as the garden begins to ramp up- we will offer all the veggies to campers including goat cheese! We can do cash or Venmo payments. The RV site backs up to Southwest Community Park, 41.9 acres, an undeveloped nature park in the Southwest Gresham Neighborhood (East Portland). The Park is partially wooded and slopes east towards 19 acres of Fairview Creek Headwaters. Views include Grant and Jenne Buttes and Mt. St. Helens. The Park contains a large Western Red Cedar/Mixed Tree Grove and a Douglas Fir Grove, both of which are identified on the City’s significant tree list. The Park provides valuable wildlife and fish habitat, and will be preserved, protected and enhanced as part of the City’s conservation effort. Learn more about this land: This is a great neighborhood spot to park with full amenities just outside of Portland, while having immediate access to 40 wooded acres with walking path and .7 mi to the Springwater Trail for biking/running. 25 mins to downtown Portland; Easy day trips that are ~30 minutes drive to Waterfalls along the Columbia River Gorge (Bridal Veil, Multnomah Falls) or under an hour to Mt. We limit the trailer/RV length to 27' in order to avoid bottoming out. Novice trailer drivers may want to avoid.  For quick bearings if you are booking while on the road, we are located just off 26 (Powell), 5 miles from I-205 or 11 miles from I-5 via the Ross Island Bridge. If you are traveling along I-84, we are 4 miles south from the exit.

Fantastic! We booked last minute and arrived after dark. We had such a comfortable stay, and were in awe of the creek right behind us in the morning light. The bed is incredibly comfy, and we were perfectly comfortable. This place is moments from mine and my kid's favorite place to go catch crawdads. I would absolutely book again.

We only stayed one night at Full Hook in the City, but it was exactly what we needed for our airport run. I’m driving home while my wife and kids flew out of PDX, and this spot made the whole transition super easy. Teresa was very responsive and made the quick stay hassle-free. The location is incredibly convenient—close to the airport, but still quiet and comfortable. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone camping and needing to catch a flight out of Portland. Great setup, easy access, and a helpful host.

Pretty straightforward hookup site in the burbs of NE Portland. Neighborhood seemed safe enough to walk. A few things: 1. It's a 50 amp plug, so you'll need to bring an adapter if you're 30 amp. 2. The dump hole cover was screwed on too tight to loosen by hand, but I luckily had a tool for that. 3. There was a box truck in the driveway that I parked next to. Didn't get in my way, but an RV with slide outs on the driver side (if backing in) might have issues. 4. There wasn't any guidance on how much yard or driveway space you could encroach on. I erred on staying inside the rv and not using the driveway in front of the box truck. 5. There wasn't any guidance on whether or not I could use the trash cans at the house. I stayed 10 days and mostly took my trash each day to a dog park to toss. 6. I tried to text the host about the trash, but first got no response, then each day they kept asking me to text again tomorrow. That was weird. I gave up after I figured out the dog park solution. I think with a little more clarity from the host on the items I mentioned, that could go a long ways. I don't wanna sound negative, because I really enjoyed this spot and would definitely come back here again. The location is perfect for getting most anywhere but especially the Columbia River Gorge. There's Camper World nearby, too. As a full-time RV mostly out in the wilderness, this was a nice place to have all the amenities and take care of a few projects on my RV with resources nearby.

Our stay at Jeremy and Dana’s place was outstanding! The yurt was super cute and clean, very comfortable bed, and nice deck. The property, the views, and the peacefulness were even better! We walked to the river, enjoyed the sound of the creek behind the yurt, had fires in the fire pit and absolutely loved our stay. Will definitely be back!

Such a great stay!! The yurt was very secluded right next to the creek. Our pups had the BEST time being able to be off-leash without worry. I was initially worried the farm animals would be close by (and one of our dogs is a herding dog who I wouldn’t trust lol), but they were far enough away that we were worry free! We were able to visit them though, the goats were SO cute and friendly. The bed was seriously SO comfortable, I had to take a picture of the mattress before we left! The composting outhouse was super clean. The whole property was just amazing and we had the best time! Also super close to Alsea for some great hiking and mountain biking. We will certainly come back!
