Portland has long been a favorite among nature-lovers and for good reason: although it’s very much a city, Portland offers easy access to some of the prettiest natural areas in the Pacific Northwest, from the rugged Oregon Coast to the sunny high desert of Central and Eastern Oregon. As such, it’s a great place to visit by RV. While you can’t technically park your RV for overnight stays in the city, plenty of people have enough land (or large enough driveways) to accommodate RV guests. Don’t know anyone in Portland? No problem; there’s no shortage of private RV sites as well as RV campgrounds both right in the city and in nearby parks. Many of Oregon’s state parks have RV sites with full hook-ups; popular spots in the Portland area include Oxbow Regional Park to the west of town and Ainsworth State Park in the Columbia River Gorge.
Whether you’re a mountain sports enthusiast, digital nomad, or vanlifer exploring Oregon, welcome to our Mt. Hood Vanlife Oasis.
Conveniently located just off Highway 26 outside downtown Sandy, we sit between Portland and Mt. Hood—an ideal home base for exploring both forest and city.
“The Blue Barn” at Camp Cedar Creek overlooks forested land with a creek and ponds below. It offers a safe, scenic place to park along with access to a shared communal barn designed for connection, work, and rest.
The Blue Barn is built with vehicle dwellers in mind and includes a dedicated co-working space, communal kitchen, two bathrooms with showers, laundry, gym, games, and other shared amenities.
PLEASE NOTE: this site is for vehicle campers only. No tents are permitted. If you’re traveling with a tent setup, please see our Camp Cedar Creek listing for tent camping options.

Grace Acres Scenic RV Camping provides rentable gravel sites to campers seeking a pastoral farm setting for their enjoyable stay in the Willamette Valley. The origin of this business adventure stems from Ed’s passion for plants, animals, and all things farming, to Paula’s passion for hospitality, home decor and all things beautiful, to their entire family’s joy when sharing their lovely property with others. These qualities, as well as impeccable grounds and expansive views of the charming countryside, will no doubt attract and retain happy campers.
The location is in farm country at the edge of the Cascade foothills between Mt. Angel and the Marquam area, with expansive views to the east of the Cascade Mountains all the way to the coastal mountains to the west. The camp spot is on the front half of our property and the airstream sits on the back half of our 3 acres. The property is a park-like setting, surrounded by a field of Douglas Firs and fruit trees.. Everyone who steps foot on our property falls in love.

This is a fantastic location to settle in and relax on our farm or use as a base camp for Columbia Gorge adventures. Our campite offers two large, level RV sites with electric and water hookups (no sewer—campers must be fully self-contained). Each site has a picnic table and is surrounded by tall, mature trees and bucolic views of neighboring farm fields.
Our farm features blueberries, pear, apple, and plum trees and lots of flowers! Wildlife includes deer, elk, owls, coyotes, raccoons, plenty of squirrels, and, if you’re lucky even bald eagles! Our dog Elsie is a loyal farm pup who helps keep deer and small predators away. Don’t worry she’s extremely friendly with people (especially children) and plays well with other well-behaved dogs.
Springtime is especially gorgeous here, with magnolias, dogwoods, rhododendrons, irises, lilies, peonies, dahlias, hydrangeas, and pollinator gardens all in bloom. In the fall, the foliage is stunning as big-leaf and Japanese maples turn golden, orange and fiery red.
The trees, flowers, and views are truly spectacular and we’re sure you’ll enjoy them as much as we do. There’s also plenty of open space to toss a frisbee, enjoy a picnic lunch, or wander through the gardens and canopied forest trails.

Once covered in old growth fir, this family farmland has raised potatoes, raspberries, nursery stock and housed 4 generations who absolutely love living the country life. Because neighboring farmers kept the land in near original condition, you can enjoy the same panoramic splendor today that my grandfather had in the 1960's when he built this house.
Folks who visit the farm cannot believe they are less than an hour from 2.5 million people. Get out and get away for a little campfire therapy under the stars. Refresh your mind, body and spirit in a safe and secluded setting which offers clean air and the peaceful view of prime Oregon farmland stretching toward the rugged foothills of the Cascade Range.

We try to keep rules to a minimum, but people seem to find creative ways to cause issues. Please park outside the yellow gate in the parking areas noted on the map. Please park on gravel and DON'T DRIVE OFF THE GRAVEL ROADS ONTO THE GRASS. Anita hates it, as you can cause a fire in the summer, and leave muddy ruts in the wet seasons. If you're driving through the trees, you're doing something wrong.
There is plenty of wildlife on the property especially in the couple hours before dark. Best place to spot deer, racoons, porcupines and beaver are down near the pond.
Enjoy your stay.

Dave was a great host. It was really nice to meet him and the spot was perfect for our stay. Very private and it felt very safe, and close to everything.
Blueberry hill is a beautiful site. We ended up coming in late and Chris met us to help let us know we were in the right place. We could easily spend more time there and will be hopefully back soon.
Dave was very friendly, the property was clean, quiet, and in a good neighborhood. The other campers on the spacious property were friendly and welcoming as well. I highly recommend their little oasis!
I enjoyed the fact that it felt safe with the fence around the property.
It isn't a quiet street and there are vehicles all hours.
While it isn't something they can control, they have neighbors who like to party into the night.
Having said that, if quiet isn't necessary for you, it is a fine place to sleep.
Lauren and Jeremy were great! Beautiful property and awesome barn!! Everything you could want or need. Definitely would stay there again and 10/10 recommend :)
Such a lovely camp site! The shower and co-working place were amazing. The hosts are super nice and responsive. Will definitely go again in the future:)
This was perfect for a do-nothing weekend for me and a friend. The only caution I would is that if you are going ro back in a trailer, it's good to have AWD bc you may need a little bit of grip for 10 or so feet.
Wonderful site close to Troutdale. Loved taking our dog to 1000 Acres. Chris and Charlotte were quick to respond and site was clean and quiet. We look forward to returning.
I absolutely loved my stay here! The area was so peaceful and Lauren, Jeremy, and Juno made us feel right at home! As a car camping traveler, this place was absolutely everything I could ask for! I highly recommend it and will most definitely be back as soon as possible!
Great campsite! Quite and secluded. We were going to see a show at edgefield so we parked the van then took an Uber to the concert. The driveway is long so I would recommend walking to the top of the driveway to catch the Uber.
Perfect spot for a much needed weekend of relaxation. Private, quiet, and nestled between happy trees and blackberry bushes. Easy to get to and ideally located close to Edgefield (a nearby concert venue) which made for a very short drive post-concert.
Nice Quiet location. Chris was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and made a few recommendations. We were blessed with some things from his garden. And he assisted with getting our camper in and out. I loved the Koi pond. And watching the wildlife. I look forward to our next time
Lyndsay's set up is amazing. She and her husband are great hosts, very kind and caring and friendly. The driveway was ample for our 27 ft bumper and our tow vehicle. All you services; electric, dump and water are conveniently located ( make sure you have an extension for your black water hose, we needed a longer run because of where our tank is). The neighborhood is so peaceful and you have acreage in the back with a hiking trail where we walked our dogs. This is one of the best HC we have stayed.
