We're close to the beach and the Sunset Bay Golf Course is on the same property.

We’re just short of a mile from Sunset Bay, where you will find kayaking, fishing and a great spot for kids.
The Whiskey Run mountain bike trails are a short drive away and are truly world-class trails. The Sunset Bay State Park has a huge trail network that spans the cliff line all the way from Sunset Bay to Cape Arago.
Chuck’s Seafood in Charleston is a great spot to pick up local seafood.
BBQ some oysters on the grill or pick up some fresh fish and enjoy the bounty of the coast.
Charleston, just 3.5 miles away, also has some great restaurants and local shops to truly make your stay memorable.

A microcosm of planet Earth, it has been raped, pillaged and neglected, it’s future never considered, it’s native stewards murdered, all in the name of greed.
After 2 years of profound breakthroughs, mind bending healing ceremonies, confusion, emotional melt downs, everything malfunctioning one after another and questioning our choice to be here, we couldn’t help but feel like we were being sabotaged by something…
We were. She was trying to get our attention, as were all of the negative energies trapped here.
Suddenly an epiphany struck us both, in the thick muck of a terrible physical and energetic rut, we knew we needed to heal the energy that had been left lingering here from all of the traumatic events that happened all around us for hundreds of years. Just like us, trauma was trapped inside her from other people, just like the ancestral trauma we all suffer from on planet Earth.
This is when we realized the land had called us here to help it, and in turn it would help us heal too….and it has.
We now know we are exactly where we are supposed to be.
When you come to this living mountain, speak kindly to her, she hears you, honor the Takilma ancestors who came before us, the plants and the trees the snakes and the bees, because we are all in this together. There is no you or me, there is only us and we. You and I are one being united in our desire for balance and peace on this planet, let’s walk together and support each other on this journey back into the welcoming arms of our own divinity.

we give coordinates for the beginning of our road. We send you coordinates, very detailed directions, troubleshooting tips, and photo maps we made. As long as you successfully used the coordinates easy. There is no service here for the most part, mile marker 4 on the main road gets service if you need it!

Highlights of this original home include a gourmet kitchen with labradorite granite counters, 800 year old juniper tree spiral stair case, huge beams and exposed rafters, a sauna, and a romantic wood stove. Also each upstairs bedroom has a hanging bed with three 8 foot skylights above for indoor star gazing. Original artworks from local artists are throughout the home. Many pleasantries await the curious such as embedded fossils in the cracked mud walls.Nestled amongst towering fir and cedar trees, with windows everywhere, you'll feel and see nature's presence. This home site has a remarkably peaceful way about it.
Recently featured in Southern Oregon Magazine and KCBY 11 TV's ~In Focus~ 'Goin' Green' and Oregon's Solar Home Tour, this is a unique 'green' home. This home was built with environmentally friendly materials. Building with little impact on the surroundings was very important to us during construction. The myrtle hardwood floor in the kitchen and living room was milled on site which came from trees that stood where the house is now. Same story for the beautiful maple flooring in the ½ bath. All of the large beams and fir flooring came from two 4' thick 104 year old douglas fir trees which also stood and were milled where the house is now. The fir trees sprouted after the last forest fire that came through the canyon. One of our neighbors fell a sixty five year old redwood that was over six feet thick! We used some of it as a wonderful wainscot paneling throughout the house. All of the finishes used are no or low VOC. Surrounding the house is native vegetation, huge trees and a few herbs and spices for cooking.
You'll enjoy the fully equipped kitchen with labradorite granite counters. The kitchen island has a new five burner gas stove with a convection oven and warming oven. The island has plenty of granite and wood counter space. Hanging from the exhaust hood are stainless, non-stick, and cast iron cookware. We also provide shade grown fair trade coffee and a grinder, espresso machine, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, utensils, chef knives, glasses and frosty cocktail glasses in the freezer. The dining room table has a river view and can seat six comfortably. There is also seating for three at the island bar. From the kitchen you can visit with the folks in the living room thanks to the open floor plan. Beside the wood stove are two chairs and the futon couch with reading lamp. A CD changer, TV with a DVD player and VHS machine are in the downstairs bedroom. Bring your favorite videos or browse our selection of movies.
The property has 150 feet of creek frontage with great views of Glenn creek, the forest and distant cliffs. Enjoy wildlife viewing with River Dippers, Chipmunks, Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, Screech Owls, Pileated Wood Peckers, Elk, an occasional Bald Eagle or River Otter and other wildlife from the house and back deck. Build a fire and have lunch on the nearby picnic table and benches.

Amazing property, super cool old school trailer, just our style. We like the resourceful and unique properties! Electricity, heater, futon and nice big bed. Didn't need much else for our short stay so it worked great. Outdoor bathroom was set up great and close by. Host was super nice, really excited to see what else they do with this property over time.

Weekend Trip to The Cloud
When I stumbled upon Cloud on Seven on Hipcamp, there was no question I HAD to stay there as my rest stop on the way to a gig. I highly respect and seek experiential stays and not only is the property extremely beautiful but the heart and wanting of transformation of space is beating at every return. I had an exquisite time in my super hot outdoor shower and Sam was eliminating me on plans for the upcoming tubs to be a quaint talking space for couples and the like. I have been telling everyone I know about this magic spot in. Stayed in the Lunar Lodge. ZERO regrets.

Weekend Trip to Bandon Riverbank Tipi
The Tipi is amazing. The views are incredible, the bathroom is adorable. The host furnished everything we could have possibly needed. Beds were comfortable, everything was nice and clean! The drive in was gorgeous with many deer sightings along the way . This place is definitely a hidden gem. The property owner was the sweetest lady ever! Directions were great, communication was quick and easy! I HIGHLY recommend this camp and host, you won't be disappointed! And who doesn't want to sleep in a real tipi? Fabulous experience and I hope to make it down there again!

Fun camping spot for our family. The river was warm and calm for swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking. Limited beach at high tide- but that just meant a nice sandy river bottom. The trailer was comfortable for the 4 of us and well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies and even towels. The owner was very friendly, easy to get a hold of, and helpful. He responded to our questions quickly and was on hand when we needed help. Highly recommend.

Really cool and unique place! My first time using Hipcamp and it was easy.
Dylan was welcoming and friendly. Chopper the dog was the first person to greet me. It took him and my dog, Teddy, a few minutes to get comfortable and then Chopper was a sweetheart.
I enjoyed the vintage trailer and composting outhouse.

We absolutely enjoyed our time here. Craig has truly thought of everything to make this spot perfect. We basically had the beach to ourselves for all three days we stayed. It’s a very private area. Our dogs ran free and were exhausted by the end of the trip. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back next summer.

It was a very nice tent! We had a very late check in (around 10pm) but Sam was very responsive over message and left lights on for us. It was a quick drive into the Cape Arago State Park which had some amazing tide pools in the morning. Also was pretty close to good brunch spots! Overall would definitely recommend!

This magical spot is truly incredible. Craig was an amazing host and you can tell how much thought and care he put into creating a space for people to enjoy. Incredible ocean views, fresh air, a cozy place to sleep and relax, unique art placed throughout the property....I honestly felt like I was living in a story.
The walk down to the beach is a little steep, but is so worth it! Take your time walking down and enjoy the solitude of the beach as you soak in the scenery. My dog enjoyed the stay just as much as my mom and I did. :)

We had an incredible stay at this Hipcamp! The views are absolutely amazing, and the open space gives you that perfect sense of freedom and relaxation. Stargazing (& satellite gazing) from the porch is beautiful.
The glamping tent itself feels super luxurious. The bedding is extremely comfortable! They’ve really thought of everything, and there are plenty of books and light cooking equipment right inside the tent.
Highlights of the property:
Outdoor Space: The kids will love the play area, stargazing, and the swing!
Kitchen & Power: Access to a separate, powered kitchen area made meal prep a breeze.
Shower: The outdoor shower is phenomenal, easily one of the best parts of the stay!
Note on amenities: The composting toilet might take a little getting used to if you've never used one before, but for a short-term stay, it was totally fine and didn't dampen our experience at all. There is also a heater inside in case you want to use but make sure the propane tank is filled up.
Overall, a fantastic blend of nature and luxury. We’d love to come back!

We brought our granddaughter for tipi experience. It was great.!! Everything is clean and well organized. Our host has done a wonderful job thinking of her guests.. We woke up both mornings to hummingbirds in the flowers outside the tipi door. Beds were super comfortable. Highly recommend!
