We are closed for the season to let our land rest and, well it gets pretty soggy around here in the winter months. We'll open up in again in April but, we're taking reservations for the 2026 season... Our one designated site, closest to the river bank we call the Riverside Site. It can be reserved for up to 4 people. It can only accommodate smaller tents, campers, pop up trailers, small pod-type trailers and larger rigs up to 15'. has a rustic firepit and your own deck for viewing the river. For groups of 5 or more or people or camping with large 10 person tents or trailers over 20', there will be an additional fee and you will need to set up camp in our Riverwood Site, about 150' from the riverbank. You will still have full access to the deck and firepit in the other site but, larger rigs cannot maneuver in the site without tearing up the grass and leaving ruts on our property. **Please note**When you make the reservation you will add an "Extra", ADDITIONAL CAMPSITE. We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests in a separate apartment we have downstairs of our house. There is a small living and dining area, kitchenette with barista bar, microwave and small fridge. It is about 150' walk and is visible from the campsites but, still feels private. We also offer our little Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee. The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. It has a nice mattress (Please bring your own sleeping bags), a comfy bench, a coat rack, remote control lights and a nice electric heater. There are curtains all around for privacy. Our farm is nestled at the end of Honey Grove Valley in the lush coastal mountains. The creek meanders through our seven acre property. The north side contains a field, small orchard, greenhouses and barn. The south side is steep and wooded with healthy riparian. An extension to the Honey Grove trail leads out of the property accessing a user maintained hiking/mountain biking trail with 1.5, 3, 5 and 7 mile loop options. Other nearby activities include hiking and mountain biking in Mary's Peak and Alsea Falls recreational area. Access to the Alsea River is located 1.5 miles from the property on Honey Grove Road or at nearby Clemmons Park. The guest cabin has two rooms and can sleep (4) guests comfortably and up to (6) guests. It contains (2) queen size beds, and one pull out couch. One bed is in a loft accessed by a ship ladder. There is a small kitchen and an un-attached bathhouse. The toilet is non-flush, composting. From the designated parking area there is a 200 foot walk along a gravel path to the cabin. Other features include a fire pit, wood fired sauna, and creek access for cold dips. Internet is available in the cabin. There is a Level 1 vehicle charger available for guests. The property also contains a host residence. The area around the residence is for the hosts. The cabin and the property are very quaint and inviting but also very rustic. Do not be surprised to see a few or many spiders, slugs and other bugs. There are occasional bunnies, wild turkeys, Garter Snakes by the ponds and newts on the trails. Please maintain good situational awareness when enjoying the property as structures and grounds may have some inherent hazards. The barn is off limits. Greenhouse and gardens are fine to explore as long as doors and gates are closed and dogs are kept out. Please refrain from harvesting produce and/or eggs unless accompanied or given permission from hosts directly.

Personally, I prefer the bank overlooking the stream. Cool your feet on a hot summer day in Rock Creek (the main attraction). Enjoy the evenings around the fire pit for an extra $10/day which includes the firewood. There are complimentary tables, BBQ, chairs. Did you know the coolest porta-party in the galaxy awaits your visit? Yep, true. Attractions: Spirit Mountain Casino is only 4 miles away, The Oregon coast is a 25 minute drive as well as plenty of vineyards. Also enjoy 100+ miles of hiking trails. The trail head is only 1 mile from camp. I'm available to answer any questions you have and look forward to your visit. We ask if the ground is wet (rain for 24+ hrs) you keep your car on the gravel driveway and not drive in the grass (causing ruts). Don't be a turd. Respect the Hideout. If you plan on partying and/or staying up late around the campfire, don't book this. I have neighbors and respect them. Go do your party booking elsewhere, please. Lastly, if you are bringing dogs, you'll most likely get a bit of barking from the dogs to the east for the 1st hour. I just want to be honest and warn you.

The cabin at Sarah’s place is awesome. It’s warm and cozy with thoughtful touches and the rushing river is blissful. Seeing the salmon spawning and jumping was an extra treat. We loved our stay and are already planning a return trip. The hosts were extremely gracious and helpful - by far the best hosts we have ever encountered on Hipcamp. Thankyou Sarah!!!

Such a beautiful piece of land right next to the Trask river. The cabin was warm and cozy when we arrived, and Carmen was so kind to leave firewood for us in the campfire! We had a wonderful time here, and are leaving full of gratitude for the hosts, the cabin, and the land itself.

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was cozy, the river view was beautiful, and having the chickens around (plus renting Butters the cat!) made it extra fun. 🐓🐾 The campfire setup was perfect, and the hosts were awesome! Super responsive and kind. Such a peaceful little escape...we’ll definitely be back!

One of my favorite cabin stays Ive ever experienced! The land is magical and the cabin was so cozy and inviting with thoughtful touches. My favorite place was the loft, waking up to the windows surrounding you with beautiful trees and rain pouring on the roof- can’t get much better. My partner and my dog and I felt very welcomed by Danny and Molly and we hope to return!

My husband and I had a wonderful time! It was a very relaxing and quiet spot. Also, Butters is such a sweet cuddlebug of a cat. We’ll absolutely be booking again :)

Weekend Trip to RV Tent Camping near River

Tad and Alanna met me at my arrival for a quick get-to-know and what was needed. Semi-private camp spot was close to chickens, but surprisingly they were not noisy (thankfully no rooster that I heard). Spot is off the main road so only road noise was passing neighbor cars. Crab apple trees were ripe for picking, blackberries already finished. I spent my daytime hours away from camp spot and at the McMinnville Highland Games Festival where I was competing in heavy athletics. On my departure day, I received a thank you note expressing interest in the Highland Games after meeting me and stating that their family was their watching me, which added a nice personal touch to the visit.
