Welcome to Molalla Ripple! Enjoy the sound of the Molalla River rolling over the rocks. Wake up to birds chirping and tall trees swaying in the breeze. The campsites are sixty feet apart for privacy, and one path along the River Shack that leads to the river with two private beach areas to relax. NOTE, Please use the clean bathrooms provided. DO NOT USE THE WOODS or camp site as your bathroom. Thank you, let's keep things clean and safe for others to enjoy! We are forced to require our guests to pay a cleaning fee that's refundable after your stay. Please add the extra to your booking. We have tried to work with our guests to offer trash service, yet campers leave more than we can handle or clean before our next guest arrives. This is our home and property that we want to share, so let us work together to keep it clean and safe. Thank you from the Toops Family Jsm Ranch started in 2004 when we moved from Oregon City. This once was a working farm with two chicken barns and a meat locker barn. All had been fallen into disrepair before taking owner ship. In 2007 we planted 200 trees and 100 shrubs to build a new fish and wildlife habitat along Woodcock Creek. We then focused on building fence along the Molalla River to protect water quality. From there, we started raising Black Angus in 2008 after spending four years cleaning up the fields to make it safe for animals. We strive to be good stewards with our land as we continue to work with Clackamas Soil and Water to make better working lands. You're only minutes away from the town of Molalla to grab a bite, groceries or other camp items. Also have Molalla Rodeo just 3 minutes away on Splat Action Paintball is just five minutes away. Open all year. -March 21 – April 27, 2025 Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival Camp with us while you visit. Just twenty minutes away or thirteen miles. -July 1-4th. The Molalla train park! You won't be disappointed for a great breakfast at Tammy D's (Mulino, OR), sandwiches at Humble Pig or pizza at Bear Creek Pizza & Pub.

💥❣️💥Thrilling Delights of Perseid Meteoric Nights💥❣️💥 💥❣️💥July 17th - August 24th - Reserve Now💥❣️💥 Largely constructed from materials lovingly and gently harvested on-site, the Yurt at Rivendell is a sanctuary of peace and serenity. A place for rejuvenation and inspiration. The yurt began as a rustic structure utilizing lumber from trees selectively harvested to protect the health of the forest. But, the more Roy worked on the Yurt the more it spoke to him letting him know how to proceed and what it should become -- resulting in this phenomenally peaceful and stress-free wilderness sanctuary where the sun, the moon and the stars wink at you through the gentle undulations of the 100-year-old Douglas Firs Trees or through the ambient ether of the adjoining meadows. Our property is located 1hr and 30 minutes from Mt Hood in Oregon. We are located in White Salmon, Washington. There are enough things to do in White Salmon, including hiking trails, biking trails, white water rafting, waterfalls, and paddling spots to keep you entertained for a weekend, week, or lifetime! NOTE: While we do accept Instant Bookings for both our Tree House and Yurt there may very rarely be a conflict with a booking received earlier from another site when the HipCamp calendar has not been updated to reflect that booking. In that case, we default to the earliest booking and work with the guest to see if there are other dates which will work. *Meteorologists project possible visible Northern Lights through May 14, 2024

This property was once part of a 200 acre cattle ranch turned into a Christian community. The families shared meals, home-schooled their children and had a home-based church. They raised their own food in a 3 acre garden and orchard along with chickens and cows for milk, meet and eggs. Two of the original families still own some of the acres although the community was dissolved and much of the property sold to other people. Learn more about this land: We love sharing our beautiful land with those that love nature. The sunsets, the peace and the birdsong are the best.  Pets are welcome and you can walk through the forest with them on dirt pathways or keep them in your campsite. Please keep pets out of our area, as our dog is very protective and has been known to have scuffles with other animals approaching. Grassy areas are available to set up tents or have picnics. There are firepits for when the burn ban is not on (a wheelbarrow full of wood for $5). The campsites are large and spaced quite far from each other.  Please stay on gravel roadways with all motor vehicles.  There are two outhouses for tents campers. There is one non-potable water spigot by the log outhouse. There is no electricity on the property.  For your own safety and peace of mind, please keep all food in bear safe containers or locked in your cars. If you forget anything, the Washougal River Mercantile is two miles away where you can buy gas and groceries.  Local hiking trails on the Columbia Gorge:  Cape Horn Trail just 3 miles from our property and Beacon Rock/Hamilton Mountain trail is a 15 minute drive.   We can give you directions to our favorite swimming hole for cooling down on hot summer days in the Washougal river. (Discovery Pass required at the river) parking spot. Buy those at the Mercantile as well)

We enjoy meeting interesting, creative, and passionate people from near and far and sharing our camping ideas off the grid. You are relaxed and welcoming. Staying on our private resort farm is like staying with friends or family. Me and my husband, Sotero, are from different continents. We met in Portland, Oregon, over 25 years ago. Being able to communicate in five languages gave us the opportunity to interact with people from various cultures, try new foods, and learn about new history and experiences. We love seeing the world, with our favorite destinations being Mexico, Dubai, and Canada. Also, we love camping and decided to create a little private camping ground and farm lodge for people who wish to camp without huge expense. We try hard to make each guest’s stay wonderfully memorable. Owner will be close by to answer any questions but gives you a space and privacy. 10-Fold Farm offers a secluded, peaceful space where you can unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. Throughout winter, there will only be one RV site beside the river, providing an intimate and private setting to enjoy the sounds of the rushing river. With access to the picturesque Molalla River, you can enjoy fishing, relaxing in the lounge chairs provided, or under cover of my "Cowzebo". 1. Click on "Select a site" and choose Riverside RV. Other's can join you with another RV by also booking "add-on RV". For day use visitors to your site, you can either add additional vehicles or purchase of one of my frozen chickens (in Extras). 2. Choose your preferred dates. 3. Pack up your RV for a relaxing getaway from the city! More about the property: - This is a regenerative farm, just starting. Last season I focused on chickens- alive (egg layers for your back yard flock) and dead (meat birds in the freezer and available for your camp dinner). Two cows roam the front pasture and my goal is to grow their numbers to be able to improve the soil health here at the farm.. -My tiny home is in the area of the sites, but far enough away to maintain privacy. Otherwise it is a private and secluded area. Because I live on site, I will not allow repeat visits if groups become rowdy or disrespectful. -There is ELECTRICITY and WATER on site. The electricity is through a standard household outlet so an adaptor will be necessary, and possibly an extension cord, depending on where you choose to set up. An outhouse with a compost TOILET and sink are available, but no shower. However, in winter months, the sink will be turned off to protect pipes. Water is still available from an in ground frost free spigot. -There is a FIREPIT for evening musing, don't forget your marshmallows. Firewood is available on site for $10/night with an unlimited supply (or free if you want to gather downed limbs). - There is an old hay wagon converted into a covered picnic area that I call the COWZEBO for use in bad weather. Enjoy a meal here with a great view of the river. - FRIENDLY DOGS are welcome. Know that my dogs also hang out here. If your dog is aggressive or timid, please consider other accommodations. - Check out my farm WEBPAGE at 10foldfarmoregon.com for more info.

We are thrilled to welcome guests from around the world to Miranda’s farm and Recreation. It’s just the kind of place that we want to stay if we were visiting the Portland-Molalla area!

Where to go

Mount Hood

The main attraction in the Government Camp area is Mount Hood. While skiing, snowboarding, and inner tubing are the main draws here, it’s also fun to just head up to Timberline Lodge (made famous by Stanley Kubrick's film, The Shining) for dinner or a cup of hot cocoa.

Local Lakes

Government Camp makes a great jumping-off point for exploring area lakes, particularly in the hot summer months. Popular spots for swimming include Trillium Lake, Timothy Lake, Lost Lake, and Frog Lake.

Warm Springs Reservation

For a drastic change in scenery, make your way south to Warm Springs, about a 45-minute drive away. Here you can learn about indigenous cultures at the Museum At Warm Springs or simply explore the desert landscape—keep an eye out for wild mustangs who live in the area.

When to go

Government Camp and its surroundings are popular year round, and while summer temperatures can reach as high as the 80s, winters tend to be cool and snowy. Ski season varies by year, but usually starts in early December and goes until May. Cold-weather activities include skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing, while the summer months are popular for mountain biking, disc golf, and taking thrilling rides down the half-mile-long Alpine Slide.
