Quiet Retreat

Elderberry Flats
Fun times in the outdoors.
We pretty much had the place to ourselves, one other camper but only saw them when they drove in and when they drove out. We had a great time exploring, trails everywhere, very quiet and beautiful. Will definitely stay here again.

Peaceful meadow under the stars
I loved staying on Lily's land! It was so quiet, all the spaces were private, and there was plenty of room to roam. The start gazing in the meadow was amazing!! You were also very convenient to White Salman and Hood River for daytime explorations. I can't wait to come back.

Such an amazing quiet property! We had 2 vehicles and 4 pups with us. And had way more room than we ever needed. The provided porta-potty was stocked and very clean. We will definitely be back!

Elderberry Flats
Good spot to stop on my way up to Mt Adams. The porta potty was clean and well maintained. The area was quiet and felt private.

Quiet but basic
It’s a quiet and peaceful spot in the forest. Perfect for getting some good rest. It’s affordable enough, but there would be more value if they had a picnic table surrounded by some wood chips or gravel. (I noticed one of the other sites had a table). We were at Elderberry Flats. Definitely big enough for a couple tents and vehicles. Without a table though, we weren’t inclined to hang out there beyond sleeping. It could be very nice, as is it is comfortable yet basic.

Evergreen Grove
Perfect. Quiet. Getaway.
The tent was shaded all day. The directions and welcome note were spot on. We could tell Lily has put a lot of work into this lovely foothill forested property!
Was a basic camp setup: well constructed platform and canvas tent, water and bathroom facility, nice benches around fire pit. Glad we brought plenty of water for the 100+ degree weather. The well only gave a bit of water ever few hours after the first day, though we know that can be expected in midsummer. Porto-Potty was super clean and stocked. Wish we got to walk down to Major Creek, but we headed out to the mighty Columbia to cool off! Drive to the river was only 15 mins or so. Pretty nice to be tucked up and away from all the busyness of Hood River with easy access! Well Done!

Getaway!!
I loved the site we were all by ourselves, which was great. They have the campsites far away from each other enough to were you can’t hear anybody else. We had our own bathroom, which was very cleanly. Thank you so much Lilly!
