Powder Creek Ranch is 362 acres, nestled into a valley, surrounded by forest in the Oregon Coast Range. The campground is in a secluded meadow next to Powder Creek, a pristine year round stream, perfect for wading and playing in. If you're looking to unplug and escape from the chaos of city life, we are all about peace and quiet and connecting with nature.
Each of our 13 extra large campsites offers access to the creek, a picnic table and campfire ring.
All sites accommodate RVs as well as tent camping. No hook-ups or potable water available.
There are seven (7) creek side sites, one site next to a pond and all have ample space around them so you don't feel crowded.
Our newest addition is a cabin overlooking Powder Creek, tucked away by itself. Solar powered.
The Ranch has 1/2 mile of Nestucca River frontage where you can swim or fish, whichever floats your boat.
Niagara Creek/Pheasant Creek falls is a nearby hiking trail and there are roads as well as deer and elk trails to explore all over the ranch. If you feel like venturing further, the beach is 23 miles away in Pacific City. Tillamook is 25 miles.
We also offer pasture raised pork for sale. A variety of sausages (breakfast, chorizo, Italian, Bratwurst and French Garlic links) and pork chops.

We purchased this slice of paradise in 2003 as a place to relax, recharge, and someday build our dream home. It started as nothing more than a gravel road leading to a small clearing with an old bus and a couple decks. Our children have grown up out here learning a deep respect for nature and the real (non digital) world. Now empty nesters, we live on site. Part of our retirement planning is to spend next several years developing the lower portion of the property (approx. 15 acres) into a campground and retreat for our guests, as well as our own family, friends, and grandchildren.
The campground area (currently) consists of a handful of primitive campsites, and a group area. We are working steadily on improvements, including adding more sites, improving the roadways, and upgrading the common areas. In all we will likely have 12-15 total designated camping areas (including a group area or two, as well as a couple hike to secluded locations).

The Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest is made up of 1.8 million acres and spans from the Western Cascades to the Siskiyou Mountains. With somewhere between 60 to 100 inches of rain per year this escape is filled with a diversity of green and a lone Rogue River. Port Orford Cedar and Douglas fir practically litter the mountainous, and meadow landscapes. Lakes and streams (200 miles of them) aren’t too uncommon, and the forest boasts the tallest Pine tree in the World (we’re not kidding folks). The Ponderosa Pine stands at 268.35ft, which is a little bit taller than your average industrial wind turbine.

Our home and farm is on two acres. Your tent site, is all in our ample acreage.
Although pets are welcome, we expect them to be well-behaved around our two cats, our own big sweetie of a pup, Frejya, our two crazy goats Cupcake and Muffin, and our free-ranging chickens. Expect to hear some animal noises here on the farm.
Our property literally borders the scenic highway. Because we are so close, you can hear the sunset-view-seeking drivers, motorcycle riders, and yes, racers who come out this way for a spin on one of the most scenic highways in the world. Traffic quiets down after dark and mornings are quite 'chill'.

Located on Mount Hood about an hour from Portland, Zigzag Mountain Farm is home to an organic garden, old homestead, house, yurts, and barn. 50 acres of open meadows and forest, bordering thousands of acres of national forest.
The farm is home to an organic garden, campfire circle, picnic area, a city bus with a campers' kitchen, outdoor seating area with BBQ, kids play structure and hiking trails.
The cabin on the property was built by the original homesteaders. Britta and Jim purchased the property in 2009. It had been vacant for a number of years. Giant slash piles scattered the land from previous logging.
The house and cabin were not livable and needed major renovations. In 2019, we purchased and brought in a city bus and converted it to a campers kitchen.
A year-round creek flows through the property and 3 major rivers are nearby. The Zigzag Mountain Lookout Trail leaves from the property. The property was homesteaded in the early 1900's. E. Mountain Drive was the wagon train trail into Portland, known as the Barlow Trail.
Zigzag Mountain Farm offers the perfect escape from the city.

This was a great first camping experience! My friends set up their tent and I camped in my car, the space was very versatile. Our dogs really enjoyed the space and although you can hear and see other camp sites, everyone was respectful and the place was very peaceful. Great hosts as well, came by to check on us the first evening and we were able to purchase firewood and ice for delivery the second evening, which was perfect! They have various porta potties on site and they are clean and very well maintained! We will be back!

The property is beautiful and private creek access is so enjoyable. The studio is beautiful and spacious. It is perhaps the most well-appointed and supplied studio/room I've rented. There is enough kitchen equipment that one can make simple meals. Lovely, welcoming hosts with great intentions for their property and excellent communication and response times. A great getaway spot for a quiet forest retreat.

Our stay was great! We spent two nights at site #2 and really enjoyed it. The site felt a bit secluded tucked back in the trees, which was nice. There was plenty of room for multiple tents of different sizes, so it would work well for a group.
The porta-potty was close by and clean. We didn’t have a need for the firewood or ice, but the campground offered to deliver both directly to your site if purchased online. The prices seemed very reasonable, especially considering the delivery.
The walk down to the creek was also nice and easy to access. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider coming back!

What a gorgeous place to camp! Friendly fellow campers and hosts. My little one loved the playground and the beautiful creek. The only downside was some other campers who were loud late into the night, making sleep difficult but that’s something you can find in any camping area. Was overall a wonderful weekend and we hope to return!

Zen Acres was perfect for my family and our friends! Two families, two tents, four small humans, and a dog - the campsite was such a great size with plenty of nature for the kids to tromp around with. The porta-potty situation was NOT disgusting and even had a hand washing station. The access to the creek was easy enough and perfect for the heat of the day. The babes loved the play structure too! A++ and we can't wait to go back!

This place is such a gem. It's a lovely camping spot and Angie was such a great, caring host. We did a private one hour gong bath under the trees and it was just magical. I'd highly recommend this as a relaxing retreat or as a jumping off point to other adventures nearby. I'll surely be back!

40 ft travel trailer
It was an amazingly serene spot. Joy was a great host who was very quick to respond to messages. It is in a very small town with very limited resources. Gas was out in town except for regular. Drove 6.5 miles down the road and paid $6.19 for premium because they were out of mid grade. Dave’s Camp with full hookups was a great spot.

The site was clean and so where the bathrooms. It was a very beautiful place to stay and I wish that we had more time to look at the area more. We are going to see what we can do about coming back for a longer visit.

30 ft Class C
With kids
Our stay was amazing. We took a 30ft cruise america RV and had no issues with navigation. The site was beautiful and the host was very helpful. Our only regret was not staying longer
