We stayed at Susan’s place for four days and very much enjoyed it! Quiet and with lots of amenities including Porta potty, sink, grill and lovely seating area with a hammock. It was very well maintained-highly recommend it!

Most comfortable bed from an online reservation ever! Very clean and cozy teepee with nice details like lamps with usb plug ins and nightlight setting, heavy blankets and a couple chairs. Portapotty down the hill was clean. Nice landscaping and a cute pond. There were lots of deer to greet us. Note—the gravel path up is indeed steep, we made it in good weather in a Prius, 4 wheel drive in anything less than dry conditions would be great. We’d definitely stay here again.

Weekend Trip to Casa Del lago 2 Lake Billy Chinook
Susan's place is phenomenal. It's a fantastic location right above Billy Chinook Lake. It has a sweet little cabin you can stay in and a tent site area complete with everything you could need for a weekend away. Her attention to detail is impeccable. Each area has outdoor lounging areas, propane fire pits, outdoor cooking areas complete with supplies, a lovely hot outdoor shower, and a cozy hot tub that's perfect for late night soaking and star gazing. She was the best host you could ask for, so friendly, helpful, and responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay. Despite the smoke from wildfires the view was gorgeous, the cabin was super cozy and quiet. The pond was also a big hit with our pups, they swam multiple times. We would definitely stay again!

This was such a beautiful and serene little place! There are multiple little areas for campers but we happened to have the place all to ourselves which is just how I’d prefer it. We had our camper but we could have shown up with nothing but our tents, blankets, clothes and food. There are camping supplies, soft lighting, comfortable outdoor furniture, a clean porta potty, clean outdoor shower (with instant hot water!), an outdoor sink with running water, shade and privacy. Even though the major Flat fire was right next to us and we lost water for a bit, it was one of my most favorite camping trips! We were right near Lake Billy Chinook & Three Rivers and a little store/gas station. Susan is the best host! She is so kind and responsive and it’s apparent she takes great pride in the look and care of this magical little place. We will definitely be back!

Incredible views, comfy bed, peaceful environment with a little creek they have running right between the little cabin and the tipi. We really enjoyed our stay. We were attending a concert in Bend. We found this to be beautiful drive and not too far from our venue.

Just as pictured, this place has everything you need for cooking, relaxing and fun. Good communication and lots of private space. We camped and our tent fit well and didn’t get too hot even thought it was a heat wave in the high desert!

Me, my partner, and our dog really enjoyed our stay at Cabin Del Courtyard. Susan is so communicative and thoughtful. We enjoyed all of the accommodations, especially the Nexgrill, hot tub (once it cooled down at night), and the fire pit. The hosts have really thought of everything that you need and prioritize their guests privacy. We would love to stay and visit the area again.

My partner and I stayed 3 nights at the Steep Dreams Cabin with our two small dogs. It was the perfect spot. It has the most beautiful view and a peaceful running stream to enjoy on the back porch. Colby and April were very easy to contact and answered any questions we had. We would recommend this stay!

Absolutely perfect. I miss it already. They have set up all the amenities, including the kitchen area, living room, area, private shower, covered area with the camp to stay out of too much sun. It’s very pleasant and just a short drive down to the upper state use area where I was able to play on Lake Billy chinook All day.
