Also, you must park your RV and any other vehicles on the graveled surface to prevent damage to the underlying water system. Quiet generators may be used between 8am-8pm.
Summers & holiday weekends require a 4-night minimum stay. All other times require a 3-night minimum.

Area attractions include the Deschutes River, Mt. Bachelor, Paulina Plunge, Benham Falls, Fall River Trail, Lava Butte, Sunriver Nature Center and Observatory, Spring River, Sparks Lake, Elk Lake, Smith Rock, and the Sisters Rodeo, to name a few. There is a boat launch about 1/4 mile away on Snow Goose Drive, and scenic bike trails in Caldera Springs (about 3.5 miles away), as well as in Sunriver (about 5 miles away).

Bonita had the place all warmed up when I arrived and sent detailed easy check in instructions. I was there for cozy solitude and the bunkhouse delivered. I cooked all my meals and the kitchen had everything I needed. Would be excellent as a pit stop for folks exploring and also folks like me wanting a quiet spot to read, write, and enjoy sitting by a fire. Check out was a breeze. Will definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Rags To Rescues Sanctuary
We stayed in the Bunkhouse. The listing definitely undersells how beautiful this place is. Super spacious, well appointed kitchen, super comfy everything, awesome hot tub, and animal friends! When we weren't relaxing or staring at the stars while having a soak, we got to know the cute critters that call this place home. Bonnie is a fantastic host and I love that the proceeds from our stay went to the sanctuary. We will definitely be staying again.

Most comfortable bed from an online reservation ever! Very clean and cozy teepee with nice details like lamps with usb plug ins and nightlight setting, heavy blankets and a couple chairs. Portapotty down the hill was clean. Nice landscaping and a cute pond. There were lots of deer to greet us. Note—the gravel path up is indeed steep, we made it in good weather in a Prius, 4 wheel drive in anything less than dry conditions would be great. We’d definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Despite the smoke from wildfires the view was gorgeous, the cabin was super cozy and quiet. The pond was also a big hit with our pups, they swam multiple times. We would definitely stay again!

Incredible views, comfy bed, peaceful environment with a little creek they have running right between the little cabin and the tipi. We really enjoyed our stay. We were attending a concert in Bend. We found this to be beautiful drive and not too far from our venue.

My partner and I stayed 3 nights at the Steep Dreams Cabin with our two small dogs. It was the perfect spot. It has the most beautiful view and a peaceful running stream to enjoy on the back porch. Colby and April were very easy to contact and answered any questions we had. We would recommend this stay!

Friendly host helped us to back our travel trailer into the driveway. As mentioned, this is someone’s “front yard” (more like gravel driveway) but has almost no light pollution and the spot is below very tall trees. The lot next door is empty/undeveloped. We didn’t need to use the host’s bathroom/shower but I can see how that would be an attractive amenity. Would be good to add some lighting to help park for those with larger trailers arriving later at night. Otherwise it felt safe, quiet, conveniently located (a few blocks from downtown sisters) and very affordable.

I inherited my eleven year old from a dearly departed friend about a year and a half ago, and she had never been camping before. I, however, am officially too old to sleep on the ground (or so my joints and back tell me). Colby and April’s teepee was the perfect compromise, and gave us a great base camp for a weekend full of adventures. (It feels so luxurious to wake up in a soft and warm bed in the open air of morning!)
