Welcome to Blue Hour Acres, a cozy and nature-inspired retreat just 15 minutes from downtown Bend, Oregon. Nestled in the high desert landscape, our Lotus Belle tent offers a luxurious glamping experience with the perfect balance of comfort and rustic charm. This spacious tent is thoughtfully appointed for a relaxing vacation rental, surrounded by juniper and sage, making it the ideal spot to unwind after a day of adventure. Guests enjoy access to onsite bathrooms, a wood-fired outdoor sauna with a refreshing outdoor shower (coming in November 2025), and private parking just steps from your site. As part of your stay, explore our small working farm where friendly chickens and goats roam and a young apple orchard promises a peaceful place to stroll. You'll be just five minutes from great local restaurants and shopping, and a short drive to Hayden Homes Amphitheater, or Mt. Bachelor for skiing, hiking, and biking. While the Great Horned Owl tent is currently available for booking, four more uniquely named tents—Western Screech Owl, Barn Owl, Northern Pygmy-Owl, and Northern Saw-whet Owl—are coming soon. Whether you’re craving solitude, mountain adventures, or a quiet sauna under the stars, Blue Hour Acres is your gateway to the best of Central Oregon.Site 1 is beautifully situated between a young apple orchard and a large irrigation pond. There is a small walk to a frost free hose bib located in the orchard off of the driveway providing potable water, and a flush toilet located in the detached shop. Electrical cord with an oil filled radiant space heater or cooling fans, queen bedding, and fresh farm eggs are available for an extra charge.

We had a great stay at the Great Horned Owl. The yurt was awesome and the property was beautiful.

Great Horned Owl
This was an amazing spot to glamour! It was close to town but it felt like you were in your own world. Comfortable bed, easily accessible toilet and great hosts!

Awesome!
Great Horned Owl
Everything was amazing. It was super hot the days we stayed and our host made sure we had fans to keep us comfortable. The bathroom is sooo cute and the bell tent was too. It’s such an easy drive to basically all of Bend, including the Hayden Homes Amphitheater. We will be back.

Great Horned Owl
We had a great time camping on Lisa’s property! The tent (we referred to it affectionately as the garlic bulb) was spacious and the platform provided ample space for our camping stove and set up. Super conveniently located on the north side of Bend while being surrounded by trees and far away enough from on town to feel ~outdoors~. Nice bathroom available to us. We loved the goats!

Great Horned Owl
Such a perfect little stay! The yurt itself was cozy, the deck was spacious, and the land was so beautiful. The perfect distance from Bend, as well. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in the area.
