Out’n’About is a treehouse resort located right next to the siskiyou national forest. The 40+ acre property is partially forested with horse pastures and meadows. There are 15 rentals, of which most are treehouses built in oak groves or Douglas fir trees. There is a main lodge where breakfast is served. Outside there is a shared kitchen pavilion with additional bathrooms. There are numerous bbqs, picnic tables, and a shared fire pit.
There is a fresh water swimming pool, a ping pong table, tree trampolines, and tons of swings for the kids of all ages. For additional fees we also offer massage, horse back riding, ziplining and arts classes.

With kids
This place had a nice little swim hole at the end of the dirt road going through the property. It also had a nice deck to hang out on. There was bed linen, dishes, a propane cooker, a pot, a pan, and a mini fridge. You do have to walk to the composting toilet out-house. FYI for the females. Travis was a great host though. He made sure to answer any questions we had. He also takes people rafting if you’re interested in stuff like that. The dog just had puppies and my kids loved hanging out with the puppy they kept and the mother. There’s also a shower they built under the tree house.

3 nights at Out’n’About treehouse treesort
My husband and I had a fun stay in the forestree. The scenery is lovely. Our favorite was probably Tarzan swing and horseback riding. The only downside was our rafting trip was canceled because there needed to be a min of 3 people. We stayed 3 nights thinking we’d go rafting the morning we left. If you don’t do all the activities, then 2 nights would be been plenty.
Also, the on-site host was lovely and the breakfast was delicious!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Out’N’About! A magical place, clean and well maintained spaces, friendly and knowledgeable staff and the zip lining crew was top notch! We will definitely be back for another family adventure!

Beautiful property, beautiful dog, awesome host. The treehouse was warm and the beds comfortable.
