Fruitdale Farm

Come stay at our little sustainable farmstead amid the beautiful rolling hills of southern Ohio!

Our peaceful 20 acres has a good mix of woods, wild meadows and maintained cleared areas as well as a small pond, all of which can be explored via our nature trail. Enjoy the sounds of nature and an incredible night sky.

FIREWOOD and seasonal farm goods are available for purchase at a self-serve stand (several payment options available). There is also a wonderful sauna on the property that can be reserved (go to sauna to reserve a time).

Great hiking, kayaking, biking, birding, fishing, swimming, and disc-golfing opportunities just a few miles away at Paint Creek State Park and the Highland Nature Sanctuary. Amish country is also just 15 minutes away with a great bakery, markets and greenhouses. This area is home to an impressive network of ancient earthworks including the world famous Serpent Mound.

Our accommodations range from primitive tent-camping to "glamping" in one of our tiny off-grid cabins. The sites are spaced out for privacy and each site offers a private picnic table and fire pit. There are two shared privies/outhouses which have basic composting toilets (not flushing). A grassy parking area is provided near the road, however, ALL SITES ARE WALK-IN (with the exception of site #1).

***Please take note that this is private property and the host lives on site. If you are looking for a place to be loud and party into the night, this is not the place for you. If you are looking to spend some quality time in nature, welcome. There are rules.

Welcome to our serene campsite nestled beside the picturesque Wolf Creek! Set amidst a wooded backdrop and a hay field, our one and only campsite offers a peaceful retreat for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Please stop at the 2-story brick farmhouse before you head to the campsite.

As you arrive, you'll be greeted by the tranquil sounds of the creek and the lush greenery of the surrounding woods. Our campsite offers pastures and some wooded trails to walk through while on farm, inviting you to explore the beauty of the countryside at your own pace.

For your comfort and convenience, we provide amenities such as an outdoor shower*, fire pit, picnic table, and outhouse with a sink. Whether you're roasting marshmallows around the fire or enjoying a picnic by the creek, our campsite offers the perfect setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. We assure you that the tranquil setting and natural beauty of our farm make it well worth the visit.

Our small hobby farm adds to the charm of your stay, with Highlander cows, potbellied pigs, roosters, hens, turkeys, peacocks, and a garden to explore. Feel free to bring along your furry friends, as long as they are friendly with our animals.

Located across from Sycamore State Park, our campsite provides close proximity to hiking trails and fishing ponds, allowing you to further immerse yourself in nature's wonders. Downtown Dayton is less than a 30-minute drive away so you'll have the best of both worlds – the tranquility of the countryside and the excitement of the city.

We invite you to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and experience the beauty of nature at our charming campsite along Wolf Creek. We look forward to hosting you soon! 

*The outdoor shower is located on the side of the barn ~ facing the chicken coop. It is not located at the campsite, but you can see it from the campsite and get to it by a short walk. It is solar-powered so the water temperature is weather dependent. It is not available year round due to the Ohio climate.

Home Afarm Co-op

Come relax atop the Appalachian foothills of southern Ohio. Enveloped in the heart of the Tranquility Wilderness Area, our 11-acre property features a mix of native pawpaw, peach, pear, and persimmon trees, deciduous forest, cedar woods, wild meadows, a small swimming pond, and a large accessible field for tents and space to play. Trails through the woods are being developed, and facilities expand gradually with the seasons. Enjoy the mellow soundtrack of birds, crickets, and frogs, along with incredibly clear night skies ideal for stargazing.

Nearby, visitors can enjoy hiking, kayaking, biking, birding, foraging, fishing, hunting, and swimming on site and at several state parks and historic sites within 10–30 minutes of the farm. Amish country is close, with bakeries, markets, furniture shops, and greenhouses.

Our primitive campsites are spaced for privacy. A gravel parking area is available near the Cottage, with additional grass parking in the upper field. Sites may be walk-in only depending on weather and ground conditions.

We hope you'll enjoy sharing the orchard, meadows, forest, and pond with us. Home Afarm is a rustic, eco-conscious retreat — perfect for quiet reflection, nature immersion, and small gatherings under the stars.

The ponds blue color comes from pond dye, which helps prevent algae and keep the water fresh and ready for swimming

GloryField Hospitality Farm

GloryField Hospitality Farm is a 148 acre active farm and vacation destination.  Enjoy your stay and the picturesque view of fields, cow pastures, and wetland pond. Spend your day fishing at the catch & release pond, hiking the 2 miles of mowed trails, you are 3 miles from the Ohio Erie Prairie Bike Trail head. Ask about helping with some of the farm chores. In the evening roast s'mores on a campfire, catch fireflies, or stargaze away from artificial light.

The farm is shared space with a variety of short term rental sites; however each site has over 100ft away from each other.  The owner Kim also lives on the property in the barn with her 2 golden doodles Scooby & Trixie. GloryField is an active farm so there are also people, vehicles, and farm equipment that have access to the property. They are the only people allowed to drive beyond the driveway.

The nearest town of S. Charleston is 3 miles down the road and has a good grocery store, gas station, & dollar stores.  Restaurants include Pizza/sub/salads, Chinese, Coffee shop, bakery, & Ice cream (unfortunately no delivery).

Riverside Adventures

Join us at Riverside Adventures for your next getaway. We are located on a 67 acre farm located on the Little Miami River in the heart of Warren County Ohio, also known as "Ohio's playground". We have 4 camp sites total, all with  with river front access. Each site has its own stone patio, fire ring, and picnic table, with other amenities also available. We welcome both small and large groups and can help you plan events here such as family reunions, bachelor(ette) parties, and corporate retreats.  With one canoe livery within two miles of us (Little Miami Canoe), you can drop your canoe or kayak in upstream and make your campsite a pit stop before getting picked up downstream by their shuttles. You can also rent a tube from us and go up and down our property or hang out on your tube anchored by the beach. We can also shuttle you upstream on Saturdays and Sundays. You can hike on our property to get scenic views of the Little Miami River Valley or spend time exploring Halls Creek (just down the street), the Fort Ancient Mounds, and others. We know other special local spots we can let you in on, too.  We are just a 1/2 mile from the Little Miami Bike Trail and close to Caesar's Creek, Cowan Lake, YMCA's Camp Kearn, and Camp Joy. Plain Folk Music Cafe, Fresh to Morrow, Valley Vineyards, and Little River Cafe, are also short drives if you want to grab a bite to eat and vibe on some cool, local hangouts. We're just a 15-minute drive from King's Island and an hour or less drive from Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus. It's great out here, ya'll--join us! The Oasis

The Oasis is a 10 acre creek side campground located in Frankfort, Ohio, 15 minutes outside of Chillicothe. 

Features of the property include:
-Tiny cabin, or "cabinette"

-The property is on the North Fork of Paint Creek with creek access and a large rock beach. 
-We are at the 12.5 mile marker of the Tri-County Triangle bike trail that runs through the property from Chillicothe to Washington Court House.

We are a private campground and wedding venue in the heart of Hocking County.

We are located 9 miles from Laurelville, 16.4 miles from Logan, 17 miles from Lancaster, 19 miles from Circleville, where stores and dinning are abundant and easily accessible. 

The property is full of wildlife and magnificent views and rainbows galore, with minimal light pollution, our night sky's are spectacular. We are within a 30 minutes drive of all of Hocking Hills State Parks, Nature preserves and so much more.
Hocking Hills features beautiful towering cliffs, thrilling waterfalls, and deep, hemlock-shaded gorges. With stunning ice formations in winter, wildflowers adorning the forest floor in springtime and vivid foliage in the fall, hikers and nature lovers have plenty to enjoy in this awe-inspiring area.  

Other local activities include, rock climbing, ziplining, ATV/UTV Rentals and tours, along with Canoe/Kayaking on the hocking river, horseback riding and so much more.

Southern Ohio offers some amazing roads for motorcycle rides, including the Hocking Hills Scenic Byway, The Windy 9,  The Triple Nickel and Three Rivers .

RVers if you are coming in from US Rte 33 please use Buena Vista Rd. Buena Vista Rd is one exit after Oppossum Hollow if you are heading East on 33 and also one exit pass 374 if you are heading West on 33. GPS will usually route you onto Oppossum Hollow Rd or State Rte 374. The State Rte 374 route will have you turn onto Oppossum Hollow. Oppossum Hollow road is a one lane unlined rd and is not the best for RVs. Taking Buena Vista Rd will only add about a mile and a few minutes to your trip. Be advised Buena Vista is a very curvey road but is traveled by large vehicles all the time. Just take it slow and you will be fine. We have a dully truck and 45 ft rig that we bring in and out just fine.

If you are coming in from the South (Chillicothe area.) From State Rte 180, please take Jack Run Rd. This is also a paved two lane road. All other roads in the area are single lane rds and are not the best for RVs (don't use Middlefork, Long Run, Stump Run, or Clapper Hollow off of State Rte 180).

This is 13 acres in the Little Darby river valley.  Lots of space to choose from tents to RVs and campers.

Self contained campers only.  Flush toilets and shower are available in the agricultural building.  Clean and comfortable with country charm. 

Clean water is available. Free firewood! Free phone and bicycle charging station.  Three miles to McDonalds and local businesses.

Surrounded by the Columbus Metro Park and 2 miles to the Ohio to Erie bicycle trail.

Bring your own kayak and enjoy the beauty of the Little Darby creek. 

Secure & Safe Camping

20 acre property with large and small barn. Just off of Interstate 70 and Rt 41.   (approximately 1/4 mi from highway).  Paved parking areas on each side of the barn with available water and electricity hook up on each side of the barn.   Wooded lot with   1 mile walking trail on property for guests and pets.  

NOTE:  Maximum stay on north and south BARN SITES is 3 consecutive nights.  UNLESS we discuss the situation prior to the dates. For the TITUS RD DISPERSED SITE, I have a 30 day limit (longer is possible if OK'd before stay)   Note, we have a rear patio porch and deck on the back of the house that we use and is in sight.  6 dogs between daughter next door (South side of barn) and us but both have fenced in yards that we try to keep the dogs in when campers are present.  Dogs are harmless but do bark when they do not know you...

   City of Springfield is less than three miles away.  A Sheets and Loves Truckstop are 300 yards away with the Loves having a dump station.  Next door to this property is a BP Station and Carryout.  The Loves Truckstop has a Wendys,  Subway, and dog park.  Sheets also has a food court.   All within walking distance.  

   Great location as Columbus is 30 min to the east, Dayton is 25 min to the west.  13 min to I 675 and 20 min to Interstate 75 N/S.  I 71 N/S   Columbus is 35 min away in downtown Columbus...

NOTE:  Little over a quarter of a mile off of Interstate 70, and on a State Route,  If looking for absolute silence and desolation, this is not for you.  Back off of the road but all the sounds carry.....

Adonai Acres

This is a secluded, private property with camp spots set far off the road. There’s open land as well as an established fire pit that can accommodate 20+ people. 

Wildlife frequently visit, and there are a few trails for hiking into the woods, plus great perimeter walks around the fields. We are within 5 minutes of downtown Blanchester, with gas stations and restaurants nearby. Kroger Grocery is just 8 minutes away.

Todd’s Fork Adventures

This property was the original location of Todd’s Fork Bluegrass Festivals back in the 70’s and is directly on Todd’s Fork with 1/2 mile of River frontage. We reside within the Village of Morrow, walking distance to restaurants and stores. The little Miami Bike Trail is approximately 1/4 mile from our entrance. This property is tucked away and you wouldn’t even know you’re close to town once you’re on site. Valley Vineyards is right down the road to enjoy a bottle of wine and cook your own steak dinner nights. Take a trip to visit Fort Ancient with a day hike. A Native American earthworks complex, the largest hilltop enclosure in the world and soon to be a World Heritage site! Enjoy some canoeing on the Little Miami River a State and National scenic river which is within walking distance. We have kayaks on location for the kids to play in the creek and creeks to hike with numerous fossils deposits. Southwestern Ohio is famous for its Ordovician fossil deposits.  Kings Island is approximately 20 minute drive and the Ohio renaissance Festival is near. Caesars creek state park in Cowan lake state park is within a short drive.  Smallmouth Bass fishing  is awesome on Todd’s Fork and we have plenty of area to Wade fish.

Harrison Farm is a working livestock farm, with goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, ducks, a horse, a donkey, and super friendly barn cats.  We host many events, including yoga classes, tours, on-Farm dinners, and private parties.  We are located&nbsp;thirty minutes from downtown Columbus, just outside of historic Canal Winchester, and only five minutes from BrewDog.  The hills of southeastern Ohio are close by, with Lancaster only twenty minutes away, and just an hour’s drive to Hocking Hills or Tar Hollow.  We welcome you to relax in solitude, or join us to learn more about farming.

Please note: when you arrive, please text and we will assist you with parking.  Harrison Farm is a working farm, with all the real sights, sounds, and smells of a working livestock farm.  We love sharing the farm with our visitors, and we want to make sure our guests know that camping at a farm means that it will truly be a farm.  The goats thank you for understanding and respecting their home!
