The fruiting orchards will start producing fruit in 2024. Please know that this is our home away from home and our future retirement income. Please respect it and leave no trace of your presence. We are happy to share it with you. If you are in a RV/Travel Trailer, there is Bass Lake Campground right on the I95 exit for Dillon that offer water, dump station and propane for your needs. The wildlife is abundant, and although the deer ruin our row covering, we still like having them around and are creating food plots for them at the rear of the property to draw them away from the field (fingers crossed). We are happy to share it with you. If you are in a RV/Travel Trailer, there is Bass Lake Campground right on the I95 exit for Dillon that offer water, dump station and propane for your needs. The wildlife is abundant, and although the deer ruin our row covering, we still like having them around and are creating food plots for them at the rear of the property to draw them away from the field (fingers crossed). The adult wild farm is just a perfect campground unlike many commercial campgrounds. It’s a very homey and cozy place to go. Michel is absolutely wonderful. Can’t say enough about her just a very, very nice lady and if I’m back in North Carolina anytime that’s where I’ll be staying.

Weekend Trip to Sugarneck Glamping Resort, NC

We were four families who spent a weekend at Sugar Neck, and honestly, it was such a perfect escape. Having the entire place to ourselves made it feel extra special — it’s an amazing setup for a group getaway. The tents are beautiful, super comfortable, and the bathrooms are neat, private, and way nicer than you’d expect for glamping. We couldn’t have asked for more. In fact, we loved it so much we’ve already booked another weekend for next week! The host was excellent at communicating and made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend Sugar Neck for anyone looking for a peaceful, cozy, group-friendly glamping spot.

Wide open and very casual. Our stay worked out perfectly. Close to primitive dispersed camping with a brand new portable-potty on site. We were happy campers. Only complaint would be the highway noise as they are close to Rt 74.

We arrived 1 hour before sunset. Heather and Chris were attending to the animals, getting them ready for a cold night 30 degrees. It was amazing to see the variety of animals they have. Heather invited us into the coral where we got to meet and pet them. So much fun. They have a beautiful farm. We highly recommend their place!!

The site was lovely, but not as private as I’d hoped. I could see the neighbors, and hear everything from the neighboring campers on the other side of the barn. The property was beautiful. My dog really enjoyed walking around and seeing the donkeys and such. I never did locate the trail. If you pay extra for it, like I did, ask for specific directions for it.

Weekend Trip to The Pint Sized Pasture

Tent camping at The Pint Sized Pasture was a unique experience. We liked being able to take our dog off leash. We also really enjoyed the animals on the farm. A staff member brought out a few of the bunnies for us to hold and love on which was special. Walking around and getting close encounters with emu, alpacas and even Moses the Camel and a micro calf was special too. My kids loved the swings, giant sandbox and rolling barrel/track. There was a lot for them to do!

It was nice to see the farm animals and have the option to buy meat in their store. Area has a lot of trees, level sites. We met Lisa’s husband Brian, who was very helpful. We would stay there again.
