Peaceful Pasture view
Perfect peaceful pasture!
The peaceful pasture was exactly what we needed for a relaxing quick one night getaway with the kids. The property was easy to find, and Mandy was great with communication and quick to respond! Getting to the site on the property was exactly as described, very (literally) straight forward, and options of camping in either shade or full sun. The site was completely level for our little trailer, so super great to be able to just pull in and not have to fuss with leveling! Tons of room to maneuver and easy to turn around with a trailer as well to get out. She had a private toilet setup with a big jug of water for washing and all the essentials for a clean bum with string lights to provide a little light (might recommend a headlamp/lantern/flashlight for night time potty breaks for inside the private tent). There was
a small picnic table ready for a (citronella) candlelit dinner and a hammock for cozying up in under the string lights. Wish there hadn’t been clouds the night we stayed, because I can only imagine that the stargazing over the pasture would have been insane!! It was pure magic for my horse-loving girls to watch the horses frolicking in the pasture before meals and just observing their beauty. We do appreciate that Mandy was willing to give us our privacy, but was also willing to share her experiences and introduce our girls to the responsibilities and beauty of farm life. Great experience and will definitely come back! Highly recommend!!

Convenience and Privacy
Camping site was far back from the road, behind the host's house and further back behind another field... very quiet and secluded. I never actually saw Mandy because I just drove in and back. We texted back and forth a bit, to make sure everything was good, then I put up my tent. The water and toilet were conveniently placed.
About twenty minutes away is the town, with amenities, in case you don't want to cook for yourself outdoors. I wasn't "roughing it," I was merely staying overnight during a multi-state, multi-day drive, so after setting up I went to town and brought back some take out. Comfort food & coffee under the stars is kind of awesome.
The area was quiet, the night was cool, and I awoke somehow more refreshed than I do in hotels. Definitely recommend.
