Lovely working horse farm deep in the heart of sandhills horse country. Hummingbird hill is our cute camping spot nestled under pine trees and amongst our farm inhabitants including horses, donkeys, chickens, peacocks and an occasional cat. One or all of these may make themselves a regular presence at your site. We are located a short distance from the Walthour Moss Foundation boasting endless miles of equestrian trails. We are a short 3 mile drive to Southern Pines and a quick drive to Pinehurst. Your campsite has a 30 amp hookup and water next to a cozy single campsite with table/chairs and fire pit. Easily accessible pull in and out with lots of room to maneuver. This is a *working* horse farm which means you will see manure, bugs and dust. You may hear horses, donkeys, turkeys, chickens, dogs, cats and peacocks making the noises they enjoy making. There are tractors and mowers that may pass your site. Well behaved, leashed dogs welcome with prior approval. Paddocks with sheds available for horses for additional fee.Bring your living quarters and horses to the riding Mecca of Southern Pines. Stay on a working horse farm with room for your own horses (up to 2). Ride into 3000 acres of the Moss Foundation. Visit with our resident horses, turkeys, chickens, donkeys and dogs. Site is set away from the main house and has a table and chairs and fire pit.

Horses and donkeys and turkeys ❤️
I loved camping here! It was easy to get to and set up. Water and electricity were easy to find and hook up. Ten minutes from Southern Pines, 15 from Pinehurst. Quiet and peaceful, thanks for everything!

Camping on a ranch!
This is a wonderful place to stay! Peaceful and beautiful. Surrounded by trees; greeted by turkeys, friendly dogs, peacocks (not loud), and horses! I truly enjoyed the fact that this was an active ranch, in a welcome, pleasant way. Allie was positive, helpful, and a fun host to visit with. I would stay here again, and be very happy to do so!

Sweet Spot in the Pines
We loved staying here! Allie was super friendly, communicative, and accommodating, and we loved meeting all the different animals. She even shared some eggs, firewood, and some treats for our doggos & the donkeys! It's a beautiful area with a lot of pines, and there is a pretty nice downtown area. We had a great meal at Chapman's (as recommended by our host!) and also a delicious lunch & ice cream at the Ice Cream Parlor. We hope to stay again!

Awesome place!
Allie has an amazing place! Beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Allie was always available if we had questions. Loved meeting all the animals, especially the Turkeys. The older one is quite the character. There is an adorable sitting area set up and water/electric hook ups. Fair warning closest dump station is an hour away. 30-45 min. to everything you need. Our camper is Outback 25rss about 28ft with slide.

Camper Glamping Farm Stay
This place is a must see and experience. I was amazed at how the RV hook up site was right in the middle of the property. It was easy to find and very quite. My pup enjoyed seeing all the farm animals which included horses, chicken, donkeys, etc. I will be returning to the property very soon. Allie was amazing and very welcoming throughout my stay. She had everything laid out for my arrival and was available to answer all of my questions.
