We carved our 43 acre horse farm out of wild swampy land in 2007 and finished the barndeminium in 2008. We started with Hipcamp 6 years ago and enjoy meeting new people. My husband is retired from the Air Force and works full time doing the chores. I retired May 2024 from being a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Womack Army Medical Center. I have a side hobby making homemade jams, pickles and flavored goat cheese spreads. We love the peacefulness of where we live...although the weather chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks, goats and horses do get a little loud come feeding time. We have different sites, please read each description or message me before you book a stay. All the sites have an 8pm latest check in unless you've stayed with us before. With the cold snap we have been experiencing the RV water source will freeze up over night. Please message me before booking the RV. We are constantly looking for ways to upgrade or make our farm more fun to visit.

The land was once our 6th Great Grandfather's and how Fountaintown was formed. The property consists of 84+ acres: 22-acre lake, swamps, creeks, and farmland. We are in a farming community. We take pride in stewardship of the land and waters to keep its natural beauty and help with keeping the balance of the ecosystem. Many animals call it home! (Heron, Ducks, Osprey, Turkey, deer, beaver, fish, and many other wildlife) We have a lake Cat named Tail. She may greet you! The Ponds are stocked with Bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill and more. Catch and release. NC fishing license required.
JCO currently has 9 RV/Travel Trailer sites on main side that wrap around the lake. A Floating cabin and an A-frame Glamping cabin on main side. Across the lake we have 12 primitive tent sites that spread-out around the property. Views of lake and sunset, little pond, swamp and creek views. The lake is a Fishing lake. Kayaks and trolling boats are welcome. No gas motors. Upon booking we can send a local tourism guide for the area. We are only 50 minutes from the beach and coastal towns. Pet Friendly campsites. Tucked away in the suburbs of Raleigh, our homestead offers a magical glamping getaway with a blend of down-to-earth charm, playful and friendly farm animals, and a vibrant flower field (open May-October).
🌞 What Your Stay Looks Like:
Wake up in a 16' bell tent or teepee directly beside the cow pasture, with the sounds of goats and chickens that are eager to greet you. Spend your morning picking fresh-cut flowers, followed by a peaceful walk around the homestead or an outdoor yoga session—with goats, of course! We have bathrooms on-site, but no RV hookups are available at this time.

Incredibly unique RV spot nestled between Aunt Martha's Blueberry patch and our 300 bush rose garden, and under the watchful eye of Edward the 100 year old oak! If you're looking for a GREAT location but off the beaten path, you've found it. Leashed pets are welcome, and temp fencing is ok too. The property is 1.5 miles from Knightdale/ 64 east highway, is very convenient for people headed east to coastal areas/ very private. no neighbors . Outside city limits. Property is 50% soybeans the rest is woods and cow pasture. Lots of open and shaded flat areas for tents ; small rv’s ..no amenities got to rough it . Plenty of water. Hiking down at creek is all shaded,lots of woods. The creek can be hiked with a small waterfall not far with all surrounding with woods the camp site u pick will be private with plenty of acreage.. no roads, no traffic, just an occasional raccoon or deer walking by

Clibberswick Stables is a small, private horse farm in Cameron, NC, conveniently located just a few miles off US-1.
We are a 15-minute drive from the Walthour Moss Foundation and 35 minutes from Raven Rock State Park. Pinehurst and Southern Pines are just 25 minutes away, and the Carolina Horse Park is a 40-minute drive.
We are a small, friendly horse boarding facility that also offers short-term RV/LQ hookups and temporary pasture board for horses visiting from out of town.

We cannot get over how great this place truly is! We love it a little more every time we go, and it has become our favorite home away from home. It must be said that it is always sad when we have to leave! However, our hosts are the absolute best and make you feel like long time friends. The property was so expansive and the Hunter trail was interesting with a little cemetery. Rode mountain bikes close by and visited Lillington and the Cape Fear River. Alicia provided us with extra heaters and lots of blankets since the weather was so chilly

The owners were awesome and kindly let us switch spots based on their recommendation. We enjoyed paddling around the lake and were comfortable with our site. The firewood is dry and ready to burn. Lots of wildlife around here, couldn’t recommend a better local spot!

Great little camp spot. Came here in January. One side of the road has a beautiful field and great sunsets. It’s close to a lot of great surrounding areas, I highly recommend going into the old downtowns of Fuquay Varina, the Mason Lager Company Brewery was a fantastic place to visit and hang out. I hear their separate restaurant in the downtown is top notch as well. Owners were very nice and helpful.
