Getting around Starlight Lookout glamping is located 1,2 miles from the main US Hwy 19/Soco Road. You will be driving on a country gravel road well maintained by HOA. 4WD vehicle is REQUIRED. Parking is located just 50 ft. from the tent. GPS MIGHT NOT WORK PROPERLY within the neighborhood and you will need detailed directions to reach the site. BELL TENT: Cozy yet spacious canvas tent (20 feet in diameter) sits on top of wooden platform. Step inside and you'll find a queen bed with a quality mattress, bedding, pillows and blankets. Inflatable queen air mattress is available (to achieve sleeping for 4) with extra bedding and pillows. Sky window has a skirt feature on the inside that you can manually put up if shade is desired. We do provide a fan to aid in air circulation, however during hot days the tent can get quite warm at mid-day. All windows and the entrance have a mosquito net to allow breeze in while keeping unwanted insect out. You can store your belongings in the large chest or use a hanging rack if you prefer. Soft lighting illuminates the space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We understand the importance of convenience, so we've included a fridge w/freezer, microwave and Keurig coffee maker for your use. Mini kitchen area has all necessities to prepare and enjoy your dishes. Whether you're savoring a delicious homemade meal or enjoying a refreshing beverage, you'll have everything you need at your fingertips. It exceeded our expectations. The bathrooms were checked regularly and super clean. Tent itself was clean and well kept, the bed was firm and comfortable. We arrived after dark, someone met us upon arrival and escorted us to the campsite and made sure all the lights worked. Great relaxing experience, would recommend!

John and Jenni were so nice, inquired about our arrival time, we arrived quite a bit later than expected, and they still met us at our campsite to make sure we had everything we needed.. The campsite was so peaceful! We took a hike right behind our glamping tent the next morning, the view is kind of blocked, but the sun twinkling through the trees, beautiful foliage falling around you, was very nice and serene! I recommend giving them a try! P.S. Clean restrooms/showers were a plus and the beautiful fresh cut flowers were perfect!

Our experience is probably the best that we've had so far. The tent was very clean, the bed was very clean and the bathhouse was very clean as well which is amazing. The night sky looked so pretty and it's very nice if you want to escape a busy city and love rural areas. It was nice having access to a mini fridge and the communal microwave was an added bonus. It's the perfect weekend escape for a couple who doesn't like partying and wants to just chill out and take in the fresh air. There was also places to plug in our phones and laptop. The bed was pretty comfortable as well. The only thing I'd suggest is bring bugspray because it can be a little buggy during certain times of the day but it's not very buggy at night besides the occasional spider which we don't mind. Overall very perfect for our needs of being a clean, quite place to chill after doing outdoor activities and exploring new places.

1 night at Magnolia Moon Farm

We had such an incredible time staying at Scott and Heidi's place!! I can't wait to go back; one of the coolest places. We stayed in the stargazers tent and it was SO cute and so well stocked. They built their own 1970's karaoke bar on premises where they made us drinks and sang some Tom waits songs for us. We had such a fun time hanging out with them and hearing their stories. I'll definitely be back through on my next road trip!!

Weekend Trip to Magnolia Moon Farm

Wow, what an amazing find Magnolia Moon Farm is! Probably one of the best rentals we've ever had. We stayed in the Yurt and came fully loaded with a 1.5 year old, wife, and pup. Our baby and dog had SO much fun romping around in the yard and checking out the friendly goats and chickens. We've never experienced such friendliness and hospitality from our hosts than we did here; I would highly recommend anyone looking for a quiet getaway glamping trip to check out Magnolia Moon Farm. DONT FORGET to bring cash for the Thursty Goat, their on-site bar that is staffed and operated by the owners - we missed out this time but we'll be back to chum it up soon and take full advantage of their services soon!

Weekend Trip to The Glamp Shack

My family and I went on a last minute trip and Jeff responded very quickly and kindly. The site was secluded enough that we felt we had privacy but close enough to the neighborhood site(s) that it didn’t feel dangerous or lonely. This site’s set up contains two tents that are not extremely close to one another, which we really appreciated because we did not have to worry about disturbing one another, as different members of the family had varying sleeping times. Bathrooms/ showers were very clean and although it was a small walk down the driveway area, the cleanliness made it worth the extra steps. Overall, we had a nice quiet weekend away in the north Georgia mountain/ forest area, and would return again in the future!

I loved tent camping, the host was very accomodabile and responsive. The location was just perfect, right outside of the Great Smokey Mountains! Very close to Gatlinburg! Me and my friends had a very good time, in spite of the light chilly weather, We had a cozy fire going!
