3 nights at Mountaintop Fantasy
Peter was a very attentive host, checking in on us and answering questions about how to handle things on the site quickly. This is a relatively simple cabin with a moderate sized sleeping area with some mild sitting space, not insulated but heated and generally comfortable. There is then a covered dining and kitchen area with camp type facilities. A microwave but then a couple of propane-fueled cooking options. A picnic table and one swing. On the other side is a water closet which takes a little work to keep going but does have a flushing toilet and a somewhat manageable shower. There are several places to wander outside with swings and other exposed picnic tables, including the treehouse like perch on the other side of the property. The views are not spectacular but are quite nice. It is not too far from some nice day trips in the Franklin to Highlands area. My daughter and I found it a nice spot to get away in the mountains for a few days. It's not cheap but reasonably priced given the apparent comparatives with maybe more glam in the cabin but less of a view and feeling of getting away. We were happy to travel to Peter's spot.

Weekend Trip to Hemlock Cottage
Loved this spot in Suches! It is really out there but close to the Appalachian trial and tons of other hiking and close enough to the cute town of Dahlonega if you want good food or need a Walmart. The treehouse was even more amazing than I imagined! The hot tub was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and all the necessities were provided for. We stayed in March with highs of 70 and lows of 40 but we stayed super cozy inside. Didn’t even use the heated blanket, but did turn on the space heater. We cooked over the fire with pots, pans, and firewood provided. We only really saw one cat the whole time and she was super sweet. The dogs bark when you pull up or go into the main house - where you can get a shower and use a flush toilet - but they did not bother us otherwise. Highly recommend this spot for off grid time listening to the babbling brook, sleeping under the stars, and relaxing.

7 nights at Your Toccoa River Cove!
This was my third stay at George’s place. It is absolutely fantastic. It is so serene! I look forward to staying there more each time I visit. Lots of hiking trails around the property and many more just a short drive. The campsite feels very remote, but you’re not far from town. There are many great restaurants in Blue Ridge. Also, I highly recommend the drive-in theater on the weekends!

Weekend Trip to Mountaintop Fantasy
We wanted to camp in the mountains but have some shelter for possible cold temps. This was the perfect spot for that. The provided heaters worked well enough to keep the chill away and there were more than enough amenities for us. Bonus was the view from multiple locations on the property and close proximity to hiking trails. Peter was very communicative and helpful.

We loved the cozy cabin with the sound of the bubbling creek near. I was a cold night but the electric blanket kept us perfectly warm. Everything was very tidy and clean. With so may extras provided glamping was a breeze. The direction and instructions were excellently detailed.

My squad and I loved staying at the treehouse. It was a lot warmer than we thought it would be inside with the outdoor temps being in the 20-40s. There was a lovely outdoor fire pit and swinging benches, and the patio near the treehouse was a great place to hang out. It was better than the pictures! Peter was very accommodating. We'd love to stay again.

We absolutely loved this spot!!! Tucked back and secluded, with easy to follow directions. We had a family of deer visiting each day, and the sound of the babbling stream and bird songs were beautiful to wake up to. George was very prompt and helpful with both hiking and firewood recommendations. We had rain for many of our booked days, and we were still so happy here. Definitely recommend!

Your Toccoa River Cove!

The Cove consists of 12 acres with a tributary stream and spring fed ponds less than a half mile from the Toccoa River. It was originally the water source for the surrounding properties prior to the city installing a water system. It is completely private and unspoiled nature, with about a mile of walking trails throughout. The Mountaintop is a 3 acre high elevation site bordering 140 acres of undisturbed woods and is also very close to the Toccoa River. Fantastic location yet very private for base camp to access the many activities in this area, or enjoy the Toccoa River. It is the only campground in Fannin County limited to only one group at a time. Each site includes 2 access points to the Toccoa River. The Gibbs Drive community river access lot has a charcoal grill, picnic table, boat launch, swimming rock and fire pit with chairs. The Toccoa River Forest community river access lot has a big boat ramp. The river is controlled flow and usually at low water from dawn to about 2 pm, ideal for fishing or swimming/wading/boulder bopping. The River release schedule is available online at the website TVA.gov. The River has swift current when the dam is opened for release, usually daily. This property is conveniently located in Mineral Bluff, Georgia 30559, just 4 miles off the 4-lane highway (Highway 515/76) and just a short drive to Blue Ridge, Georgia; Blairsville, Georgia; Murphy, North Carolina, McCaysville, Georgia and Copper Hill, Tennessee. It is a paved road drive all the way to the entrance. It is located just a few miles from the center of downtown Blue Ridge with art galleries, many restaurants, brew pubs, shopping, the Blue Ridge Brewing Company, Mercier Orchard, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad, and more! The Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad runs most of the year from Blue Ridge to McCaysville, right along the Toccoa River. The campsites are equally close to downtown McCaysville, Ga. /Copper Hill, TN. You are a short drive from Lake Blue Ridge, the Chattahoochee National Forest, Brasstown Bald and many hiking trails, such as the Aska adventure area, the Appalachian Trail, the Benton McCaye Trail, and trails in the Big Frog wilderness area, Cohutta wilderness area (largest wilderness area east of the Mississippi) the Rich Mountain wilderness area and the Project Chimps hiking trails. The Ocoee River whitewater center with the Olympic kayak rapids and the world class mountain biking trails are less than 20 minutes away. Hiking, biking, fishing, whitewater rafting, kayaking, tubing, boating, swimming, zip lines -- oh my!

While on your glamping trip, there are several places nearby to hiking, fishing, swimming, and if you're brave enough, even biking the ups and downs of the mountain roads. Head to the forest for your next magical treehouse getaway! Treehouse Mountain is a property designed with one thing in mind: relaxation. The property provides 30 acres of mostly forest land for guests to explore. It features four uniquely designed treehouses to fit any travelers needs, and is perfect for hosting groups and events! Here at Treehouse Mountain, our goal is to provide everything that we would want if we were to travel to other rentals. During your stay, you can find that we are readily available if there's anything we can help out with or want help planning your trip to the area as well. The bathhouse is a shared facility between three of the treehouses. It features two showers and two bathrooms (all separate rooms) and is fully climate controlled (warm in winter, cool in summer). It is cleaned daily, sometimes multiple times a day depending on usage. In the shower rooms, guests can find shampoo, conditioner, and body soap available for their use. In the bathrooms, there is toilet paper, hand soap, hand sanitizer, and hair dryers available as well. The treehouses have been furnished with you in mind. All linens are provided (all bedding, kitchen towels, bath towels, etc) and additional linens are available upon request. Each treehouse has a kitchenette area, complete with sink, drip-pot coffee maker (coffee, creamer, sugar provided), toaster, microwave, and half-size refrigerator. There are additional items such as a rice cooker, water kettle, and some snack items provided as well. They each also have a Blackstone Griddle for cooking in an outdoor cooking area. There is a parking area for guests' cars. The paths on property are well-lit, so there's no need to worry if you arrive in the evening. The owners live on property and are readily available to help during check in and check out if needed. Each treehouse has a private fire-pit with firewood and fire starter provided. Our treehouses are dog friendly with no additional fee.
