We’re a pet-friendly property because we know adventures are better with your furry friends. Campfires are welcome, and we even provide firewood to make your evenings extra cozy. You’ll also find portable toilets and two centrally located showers (naturally warmed by the sun!) for your convenience.
IMPORTANT: We do not accept late-night bookings or late arrivals. All guests must arrive by 6 PM local time.
This allows us to personally greet you and guide you to your glamping site or campsite. If something unexpected comes up and you’re concerned about arriving late, please send us a message in advance—we’ll do our best to help. The yard has a fence around 3 sides. Do not go beyond the fenced area as farm crops are growing. Owners have a private fenced-in back yard separate from the common areas.
Other things to note:
We do not allow pets, parties, illegal activities, or fireworks.
Please request the use of the Fire Pit as it depends on wind conditions with crops growing in the fields.
We have a charcoal grill available for guest use. You must bring your own charcoal, lighting fluid, and matches. Please let us know if you use the grill so we can clean it out after the charcoal cools.
* For the safety and protection of all our guests, we have completely cleaned and permanently sanitized the entire bungalow with LastGerm 2-Step products. The space
Creekdance is located on 20 acres of prime Kentucky vegetation in the hills of Kentucky. Dry Fork Creek runs adjacent to the entire property. While it is not deep enough to kayak, it is certainly fun to dip your toes in and walk through the ever-flowing water.
Several walking paths and bird boxes can be found throughout the property. It is a great place to write, paint, read, do yoga or just rejuvenate and "get right" with nature.
Get the best sleep of your life on a Nectar mattress with the sounds of the creek drifting through the window.

Guest access
Guests have a private cabin all to themselves. They may feel free to wander around the property, venture onto the walking paths, walk in the creek, etc. The only space that is off limits is my cabin down the creek. Of course, if there is some kind of emergency, feel free to come find me.
Other things to note
While pets are allowed, there will be a $25 charge per day/per pet, paid to hosts upon arrival. I have a very friendly dog of my own on the property who free-roams. Also, if guests leave their pets in the cabin while they are gone, the pets must be crated.
Inside the cabin, the bathroom is equipped with an Incinolet toilet. I find that it is quite efficient if used properly. Instructions will be given upon arrival and are included on the wall in the bathroom.
We can only accommodate TWO guests at a time in the cabin due to the Incinolet's capability.

You will have access to the entire space. You will experience lots of wildlife during your stay. Feel free to grill out and build a fire. The property is on a dead-end road, has a huge yard, and tons of parking. There is also a pond on sight if you like to fish. There are 2 back patios and a balcony off of the master upstairs.
The house easily sleeps 10. Please refer to the details in the listing as to bed sizes, etc…12 guests can make it work with the air mattress.
I am currently painting the inside of the house room by room, so you may see some painter's tape in 1 said room. Thank you for overlooking this as it’s an ongoing DIY project.

Absolutely beautiful property. Not far from Mammoth Cave. 2D was a fantastic host, answered all our questions, and made sure we had what we needed to have a good trip. Truly a kind and hospitable man. Stayed 3 nights in dream catcher. It felt like falling asleep on a cabin porch. Will definitely be back. Could see this being a fun place for kids. Lots of woods, a river, and buildings on the property to explore. First time using hipcamp. So happy it went as well as it did!

Barren River Magic is magical, indeed! The farm is breathtaking, the facilities are perfectly maintained, and 2d is so kind and helpful! We stayed in the RV and it was such a treat. Our dog absolutely loved splashing around in the river and just enjoyed being off-leash in general. I truly can’t recommend this place enough. 5 stars with no hesitation!

The stay was really nice! We enjoyed the fire in the evening and went in to the tent as the night went on. After it got cold enough, we used the gas heater and it was more than enough to keep us warm.
The potable water is limited, so if you need lots (cooking, cleaning) be sure to bring it in.
It was extremely private and lovely, but it looks like there may be a new cabin being built at the top of a very nearby hill which would make the place much less private. We prefer solo private spots, so we might need to check on this for future stays.

Weekend Trip to Barren River Magic
The peace pipe is a campers refuge! I loved the lower level sitting area, brought along flowers and a tablecloth and it made for a beautiful meditation/yoga sanctuary. The upstairs sleeping loft was a reprieve from the heat and had the best views of the land! Mostly, we spent our free time star gazing and strolling the river. It was an amazing getaway and we can't wait to come back!

We loved staying at Kozy Haven Cabins!! It’s cute, quaint, clean, and so comfortable🙌🏻🙌🏻! We stayed in Cabin 5 and when I say it was such an unexpected surprise how nice it was! This is hands down one of my top Hip Camps Ive been to! Not far from Mammoth Cave at all, plus the surrounding countryside is gorgeous. We had a lovely, peaceful stay in the glamping tent which felt like a hotel after tent camping! Boots, the cat concierge, checked on us several times to make sure we were enjoying our stay, which we loved! Overall, this was an amazing stay and I wish we had planned to stay longer. We will definitely be back! Also being able to shower on a five day camping trip was a dream.

The Cedar Ridge Cabin was impeccably clean and had the coolest off-grid gadgets! I maintained a similar cabin for several years and know how much work goes into such a spot. The craftsmanship and attention to detail at this cabin was inspiring to say the least! My son and I enjoyed the adventure hike down to the river and watching the nighttime critters in the field. I love every experience at Barren River Magic. This is my second time staying in the Tin Bin and it's a lovely, secluded spot still close to all the places you want to roam on site.
2D is a consummate host and the spaces are always interesting and comfortable.
The land, however, is the real draw. Just being on site, in the woods and water, the fireflies at night, the stars, sitting by the firepit and just being...it is, in fact, Magic.

Our service dog got to go down into the cave with us. During the part where they turned all the lights off and it got totally black he let out one little "woof" - everybody laughed.

It's a bit of a drive into the visitor center, on narrow roads, but, the cave is wonderful, very massive, if you walk the whole thing it could take up to 3 hours.

Mammoth Cave Campground
Mammoth Cave is truly a mind blowing experience! We took two tours in one day which felt like a good length of time. The first was the Extended Historic tour which visited the main entrance and largest rooms in the cave, looked at artifacts, and discussed the history. The second was the Domes & Dripstones tour which visits one of the few areas in the cave with actual stalagmite and stalagmite formations (Frozen Niagara). The rangers were great and the tours was informative and fun! We also did a quick hike above ground and saw so many birds.
The Mammoth Cave Campground was very well maintained and felt the same as any normal state park campground, with sites pretty close together so you're in your neighbors business, but the price and proximity to the tours was great. The camping shop was right next door and has paid laundry and showers, a post office, and other essentials (for a high price of course). We used the showers and they worked well - they are coin operated but they have a quarter machine available.

I stayed at Moutardier site A044 about 40 min away, highly recommend! Quick walk down to the water. Lots of trails in this area and also in Mammoth Cave NP. Unfortunately didn’t do any cave tours due to having my dog, but there are kennels at the lodge if you want to do that.

Mammoth Cave Campground
I like caves. Like… a lot. The main cave isn’t as dramatic as the ones you can take a bus to, but its size is overwhelming, and the waterfall entrance is lovely.
And thank goodness for kennels! Every park should have these.

Great pet friendly sites. Short walk to the visitor center and hiking. I never drove my car around! Sites were well spaced and paved. On a flat area so it was very nice.

The 4 hour tour (can’t remember the name) is incredible. It combines most of the shorter trips and it feels like going to a different planet.
