Low Meadow Farms (formerly Brown Bike Farms) is a serene four-acre meadow bordered by Burnett Creek. The campground is an easy distance to Downtown Knoxville and an even easier access to all that South Knox's Urban Wilderness has to offer. It uniquely offers a hint of backcountry camping without the 25-mile hike in. It is a great way to test the waters for primitive camping or an easy stop close to the city for a seasoned traveler. It is best suited for car camping, RVs, tent, and hammock camping. There are fire pits and picnic tables at each site with enough room for tents and RVs. Most sites have trees suitable for hammock camping all along the creek. There is potable water, firewood for sale, solar showers, and a bike wash stand all next to the covered communal area. Each standard site can accommodate 2 people to keep space between groups and lessen the impact on the land. Sites 10 and 13 can each accommodate 6 guests. If you have more in your group, we recommend reserving an adjoining campsite. Sites 1, 2 and 3 are off the main path to the left of the property, and still by the creek. Sites 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are all along the creek and gravel drive Site 10 is very private with creek access on three sides. Site 11 is private with creek access all along the front. Site 12 is up high on a hill, and Site 13 is open in the middle of the meadow.

Fall Creek Falls, at 256 feet, is one of the highest waterfalls east of the Rockies. While at the park enjoy the cascades, gorges, waterfalls, hiking, fishing, golf, boating rental, bicycling, picnic, playgrounds, basketball court, softball field, snack bars and enjoy the nature. We are less than 1 hour away from Rock Island State Park and Cumberland Mountain State Park. Located in Van Buren County, within a 30-minute drive. The Fall Creek Mennonite community has a variety of small businesses (seasonal produce, garden center, greenhouse, fabric, metal shop, warehouse and general store) in their community. Also, on the way to Fall Creek Mennonite community is Fall Creek Falls Riding Stables. They provide a guided horseback tour through the woods. It normally takes an hour. Spencer is a small town, with 2 convenience store, 1 Save-A-Lot, Family Dollar, Dollar General, a café open Tuesday-Friday (times vary) and subway.

There are cliffs on each side of the creek making it the perfect spot for serene relaxation. Following upstream is an assortment of spots to pitch a tent. The most notable sites are surrounded by hemlock tree's and is peaceful when birds chirp over the small rapids echoing from the large overhang *I am in the process of making multiple sites but until I do so it is first come first serve. There are multiple sites at main campsite and along creek, I've had a private event of thirty people staying at once. There are also smaller spots next to waterfall, uphill near cliff and I've had people go below falls for some complete wilderness (blocked by gorge and waterfall). With this being said, I do offer private bookings and accommodate special events! *I travel for work, so I won't always be here, but I will send directions and details after confirmation and make sure all is savvy during. Please be respectful to one and another and let me know asap if any issues arise but truthfully everyone has been amazing and I thoroughly enjoy meeting and getting to know everyone! Absolutely beautiful site! Completely out of the way, like almost 4 miles of gravel road, which was exactly what I needed with my 2 dogs. Never saw another person but I felt very safe. The site was inviting and well maintained. Having a broom was a plus! Sleeping under the stars and listening to the roar of the water made the trip well worth it.

I enjoyed camping at this site! You are raised above the road and have you own little area which is great. Having an actual bathroom was also nice. I would stay here again.

We absolutely loved heartstone! The gravel road is a bit long and you need to go very slow because it is quite bumpy, but nothing my Subaru couldn’t handle! The setting is extremely peaceful and remote, with the canopy forest providing a ton of shade and keeping it cool even in mid August! I’ve never been somewhere so beautiful and restorative. We can’t wait to come back! Thanks for sharing your land with us Brian :)

Weekend Trip to Shaded Creek RV Hookups

Very private, yet close to the adorable Tellico Plains Historical town. Grains Bakery is a must. Big Bear tubing is a second must. Fly fishing in the Tellico River, hiking, off roading and waterfalls are also high on my recommendation list! The property is quiet, dark and has a beautiful Mountain View and a refreshing creek. There was only one other camper there when I was. The dogs loved running around the property and cooling down in the creek. The bugs are gonna be out bc it’s East TN in the muggy summer, but wear bug spray, listen to the crickets & cicadas and watch the lightning bugs dance over the grass as the stars light up the night sky! I’m not a morning person, but I bet the sunrise there is 10/10! Responsive host, friendly and left us in peace after introducing themselves.

Shaded Creek Rv is such a peaceful and comfortable place to stay! We are 63ft when hitched, 45’ when not and we had no issues getting into site 4. The water pressure, 50amp electric, and sewer performed perfectly. You’re parked right on grass so there’s no mud or tiny gravel coming inside with you. Robert and his family are super kind and we enjoyed meeting them! The property is gorgeous with a creek on one side and mountains on the others. We enjoyed the quiet, the unpolluted, dark skies at night, the cute ducks and chickens curiously checking us out, and of course Sadie. We highly recommend this place and have even extended our stay at Shaded Creek.

This was our first time camping and we really enjoyed this spot. The running creek is very peaceful and the dogs enjoyed playing in it. The bathroom, charcoal grill, and picnic table made things easy.

Nice spot right at the entrance to Fall Creek Falls. Super easy to get to and well maintained. It was just a quick overnight, but everything was seamless. Clean porta-potty and good Verizon service.

I LOVE COMING HERE! I USED TO COME OUT HERE ONCE A YEAR WITH MY EX HUSBAND AND NOW THAT I'M SINGLE , I DECIDED TO MAKE IT A TRADITION TO GET OUT HERE EVERY MONTH OR TWO AND STAY A COUPLE DAYS WITH MY DOG BEATRIX. I LOVE IT DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT'S NOT VERY BUSY AND I USUALLY HAVE THE ENTIRE AREA TO MYSELF AND MY DOG GETS TO RUN AROUND. GRANTED SHE IS VERY WELL TRAINED AND DOESN'T GO FAR BUT SHE LOVES THE FREEDOM AND SO DO I. IT'S QUIET , PEACEFUL AND SECLUDED and TABITHA AND HER HUSBAND ARE WONDERFUL HOST'. If you want a cheap🫡get away the primitive way, this campsite is it! Don't hesitate and book your stay now! Also, the store that they have there is a nice little gem to find good gifts at at reasonable prices. I'll see y'all next time! Thanks again. 😊 Help support their cause too.

Weekend Trip to Low Meadow Farms

Low Meadow is a pretty spot along the creek. It's easy to get to and very close to supplies in town if needed. I stayed an additional day because of the setting. Be advised, there is no real shower...it's a solar shower hanging so low it only will clean you up from the waist down!

Originally booked site 1a and had to be moved to site 5. Highly enjoyed site 5 next to the creeks coming together! Super convenient with the store on site and 5 minutes from any fishing or river access! Will be back again!
