Fantastic setup and location. Close to restaurants but still secluded. The TeePee's were SO cool. Definitely will be booking again soon.

Definitely would not recommend.
We’d been there about an hour when we heard somebody at one of the other tipis (yes, the tipis are so close to each other you can hear every word of another conversation) say they saw there was a big wasp nest in their tipi.
My partner checked our tipi and yep- wasp nest at the top. I’m pretty severely allergic to insect stings, so I was not willing to risk sleeping with a wasp nest. I message the host asking if there was anything he could do and didn’t hear from him, so we decided to pack up and leave. Luckily we only lived a couple hours away, but an incredibly disappointing end to our day.
Beyond the wasp nest, this site was literally in multiple houses’ backyards so it wasn’t as secluded, nature-y as we thought. A little dog came running up to our campsite barking and would not leave us or our dog alone for 15-20 minutes because the little girl trying to capture the dog could not (this was not somebody at another tipi, this was somebody at one of the houses you’re in the backyard of).
When I messaged Mark to ask for a refund (at least to consider maybe a partial refund), he has been unresponsive and when I submitted through HipCamp, he declined it. So overall, not a communicative, understanding host either.

It’s a cool campsite. The decorations and atmosphere make it very unique. The bed was good. It was a bit cold because we couldn’t find the remote for the heater. It’s a shared shower and kitchen, but it clean.

We had a fabulous time here! It rained while we were there, but Mark brought us dry firewood each day so we could have a fire 🔥. The bathhouse was perfect and very clean!

This place is epic! I took my 5-year-old and 10-year-old, and they both had the best time ever. Wood was already set for us in the fire pit, and the large stack of extra wood was perfect. The bathhouse was clean, and the kitchen available to campers was excellent. We’ll be back

What an experience! So cool to be in a tipi, maybe not like quite authentic but definitely what I call fun experience. It isn't the Ritz but it was comfortable. It was extremely hot in the state of Kentucky while there & the AC couldn't keep up quite well but in the evening it cooled off. So if your looking for actual hotel experience might not be for you but if your looking for something unique & different totally give it a go. Had an evening & part day with rain. (Side note had wanted to experience & totally got it) l it might have come down the poles a little & dripped in some places but I enjoyed it 😊

It was such a fun experience for me, my friends and my son. The tipis are so cute inside and out and the fire pit picnic area was great! We used some of their outdoor games and appreciated having those. You have access to a shower and bathroom. It’s a little walk from your car so bring a rolling cooler if you have one! We would definitely recommend this place!

Very beautiful setting. Perfect place to crash for the evening. It was peaceful and the whole property was immaculate. Mark was very helpful and nice!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Tipi Village. It was nicer than staying in a hotel. Plus I think that it is a good experience for people to do. Mark was also a great host.
