Welcome to Riverbend Retreat, where we offer peaceful campsite and cabin rentals right on the banks of the Green River. Our property is perfectly situated for adventure, located just 10 miles from Mammoth Cave National Park and only 5 miles from the Dutch Country Safari and Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo. When you stay with us, the river is your backyard. We have a boat ramp on-site, along with excellent opportunities for fishing and swimming right from the property. As a family-friendly resort, we are dedicated to making your visit one of your most memorable stays. Whether you are bringing the family for a long weekend, a full week of relaxation, or are just passing through the area, Riverbend Retreat is the ideal place to call home. We look forward to hosting you and helping you experience the very best of Kentucky’s natural beauty.

There is a pavilion on site with a volleyball net, basketball goal, corn hole, swing set, and kan jam. Complementary upon reservation are 3 kayaks and life jackets. This is a great place for children/families to swim as water level is knee deep. Excellent fishing for catfish and bass. There is a common area boat ramp on the resort.

We loved camping here! Our host was extremely helpful and we loved being close by the river. Mornings are very pretty with the sun coming into camp and the misty river. We saw deer pretty much every day. The kids really enjoyed swinging on the rope swing there. There was a pavilion stocked with lots of items you could use too. The Porta potty was clean, no smells. Taking a hot shower was a major plus too. It's down the lane but we just drove down there so we didn't have to carry our stuff far. It was really nice having kayaks and life jackets available, and with the river being gentle, it was a good spot for older kids to learn how to paddle. My son caught several small mouth bass and a large mouth bass here, just watch the poison ivy on the sides of the bank! Overall, a very nice place to stay!

This was a good spot close to mammoth cave. Host was very kind and had lots of great firewood for us.

We tent camped out here and it was great! This is obviously a well loved and maintained family property. There is highway noise from i65 nearby, but still a nice retreat right on the banks of the Green River.
