Rules for the Campground
1. 100 % Refund less credit card processing fee if you cancel before 14 days of your arrival date. 50% Refund if you cancel between 14 and 7 days of your arrival date. No Refund if you cancel within 6 days of your arrival date.
2. CHECK IN: 4 PM. CHECK OUT: 11 AM.
3. QUIET TIME. 10 PM - 8 AM
4. CHECK OUT PROCEDURES. Camp must be broken down by 11 AM on departure day. If you stay past time you could be charged for an additional day. Extension possible with pre-approval.
5. All Overnight Guests Must Pay
6. Trash must be taken to the Green Bins located at the lower corner of the upper field
7. No washing vehicles
8. PETS must be kept on a leash at all times. Please clean up after your pets and do NOT leave them in the campground unattended.
9. Please be respectful of other campers and the property. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate cancellation of your stay and you will be asked to leave the park.
10. We reserve the right to refuse service or ask guests to leave the park at any time and for any reason.

The creek in front of the property is available for use. Great for soaking when the weather gets hot and it's shallow enough to just bring a folding chair. Fish? Yes, there are some trout in there. Flies work best. Got kids? Build a dam! Go for a creek walk! Great hiking at the end of Wesser Creek Road. There is a trail by the creek and a fire tower with great view about 4.5 miles up that trail. Water source (spring) is available at the top. Follow the blue blaze. The white blazes at the top tell you you're on the Appalachian Trail. Take a side hike to Maine!
Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) is just down the road on 19/74. Rafting, zip lines, a ropes course, mountain biking... good food by the river, a bar, public restrooms... the works. They often have music by the river on the weekends.
This land was once a hillside farm, after it was first logged early in the last century. They used to grow corn all over the hillside, then let the cows up there to graze and eat up the stalks. If you look closely, you might find some barbed wire in an old oak here and there.

We recently discovered the joy of traveling the US in an Airstream. When we came home after 6000+ miles, because some of our favorite sites were non-traditional ones, we decided to add a site on our farm. Enjoy the dark skies and quietness of the country. We are 10 minutes from downtown Murphy. There is only a small area of gravel which is the actual site. Everything else to get here is paved.

Beautiful view on the Tuckaseegee river. The river is about 100-150 feet wide and flowing constantly. Located in Whittier, NC which is in between Bryson City and Cherokee. Near Great Smoky Mountains National Park (the most visited National park in the US) with every imaginable outdoor activity within minutes.
This campsite is for people who love peace, solitude and beauty but want to be within minutes of attractions and restaurants. Harrah's casino in Cherokee is only 15 minutes away.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect final camping trip in our travel trailer. Patti and Doug were wonderful hosts — Doug even brought an RV conversion adapter to use during our stay and Patti greeted us with delicious cheese and crackers. The site itself is beautiful, spacious, and completely private. Our dogs, Winston and Lila, loved running and sunbathing in the grassy yard.
A delightful surprise was seeing Doug’s pottery — he’s extremely talented and it was hard to choose which pieces to take home. My husband and I stayed to celebrate his birthday and our wedding anniversary, and the setting exceeded our expectations. We were even treated to the Lyrid meteor shower and a stunning view of Jupiter and its four largest moons. Patti had a great recommendation to drive along the river in Needmore Rd - 100% did not disappoint!
Highly recommend Cave Creek RV Site for anyone seeking a peaceful, well-appointed, and truly memorable stay. Five stars!

Made a last minute decision to go camping the upcoming weekend when we found Lil Snowbird. Wanted to take our 2 Schnauzers for some fun in the creek so we booked Site 3. Ordered a bundle of firewood and they seemed dry but had issues getting them lit. It didn't bother us since we brought our Blackstone and didn't require a campfire for meals. The host must've had a similar issue reported bc next thing we knew, he was bringing by more wood without being asked. He was very attentive and we appreciated his hospitality. Only issue we had were the idiots at Campsite 4. They were using a stump as a backstop for pellet gun target practice but our campsite was directly downrange behind said stump. I deliberately glared at them hoping they picked up what I was putting down before I confronted them. Granted it was a pellet gun but anyone with any range experience or common sense knows you NEVER point a weapon in anyones direction no matter the caliber. FYI, for planning purposes, our picnic table and fire ring were in fixed positions. Can't vouch for other sites but the tent area was about 5 yds from the picnic table and the fire ring was another 10 yds from the picnic table and the portable changing room that housed the sites RV toilet was another 5 yds from the fire ring. This means you have a 20 yd walk from your tent to relieve yourself. I noticed a little solar lamp at the potty tent but we didn't use it, as we brought our own. Already planning our next camping trip back!

Beautiful spot to camp. Very quiet sites away from the RV plot. The stream that runs through the grounds was really nice. Close water faucet access and pressure was a big plus. Only minor inconvenience was that the small facility was down and was not communicated so beforehand by host. Porta potty available only during my visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed this little plot and can't recommend enough. The grounds are very well maintained, enjoyed the host and his pups visiting with us, and one I'll surely be heading back to again when the opportunity comes.
We happened to be visiting in the early firefly season of mid April. Very cool to catch little flashes in the treeline during dinner with a campfire.

We loved the camp site. The location is amazing, and being right on the water meant it was super easy to fish and the kids were able to get in and out of the water whenever they felt like it. Andrew the host was awesome. We ordered some firewood, and it was there when we arrived and ready to go. Andrew stopped by the second day to drop off some more firewood, and we spend some time chatting and learning more about his property.
It’s truly a great place to camp. It is close to town if you forget anything, or want to go and checkout surrounding areas, but feels like you are tucked well away. There were other campers at the property, but at no point did you feel like you were on top of each other.

Wonderful! Beautiful! Quite! Private! We had the best stay here!! The site is near the road, but the traffic is so minimal it's not a problem at all. It's tucked up to the side of the mountain. You can here the creek from the site! There is a rather large area to utilize. The pottery barn was fun to peruse, we took a few pieces with us. Doug does beautiful work.
The property is very near the Little Tennessee River. We went multiple times. It's also about an hour from Cherokee, the South entrance to the Smokey Mountain Parkway, as well as the Smokey Mountains National Park.
Just south is Highlands, where there are many waterfalls to explore. There's an endless number of things to do in this area!
As great as the site is, the hosts are even better!! Two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Very accommodating, very concerned that there guests have what they need, including privacy. We'll be going back to see Patti & Doug!
We have a 30' class C. I'm relatively new to RV life, and am not accustomed to the quick elevation, curvy mountain roads. I found the Tellico Bridge Road was a little more comfortable than Iolta Church Road. I had no problem with the driveway or parking spot. I was able to turn around on the upper level without any problems. It might be a little tight for larger rigs. The hookups are great too. 50amp, extra long hose already hooked up & available for use. Our cat & dog enjoyed being offleash & loved our hosts too!! ❤️

This place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed right by the creek, and the sound of the water made the experience peaceful and relaxing. The sites are very spacious, giving you plenty of room and privacy. The views from the campsites up the mountain are beautiful. Andrew, the host and owner, is friendly and helpful, and communication with him was easy and smooth. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back.

Andrew is always attentive to campers and is at the site daily. It is a quiet nice place where the sites are not super close which makes it relaxing. The road was being graveled when we were there which will make getting there less bumpy. Highly recommend!

We loved camping at Lil Snowbird Farm! We had site 11, one of the lookout sites, and the view was amazing. The fact that they have site "toilets", tables with benches, and campfire grills adds the perfect touch of convenience to primitive camping. The creek sites looked very cozy, too! Overall, I would definitely return and recommend Lil Snowbird to other people.

Host was great with communication prior to trip and reassured us that bears have not been an issue on his property. Site itself was beautiful, really nice space and privacy from other sites. Individual privies on each site were really nice as well. Kids had a great time playing in the creek. Firepit had grate that was nice for cooking. When booking the site, we didn't realize how far down a non-paved road the site was, and given plans we had for the next day, elected to only stay one night rather than the 2 we booked. We were driving a minivan, and clearance could be an issue, especially if it rained at all. Host stopped by and gave us recommendations for local hikes and a map, which was really really helpful! Overall, great experience!

Beautiful campsite and an amazing experience overall. The location was peaceful, scenic, and exactly what we were hoping for. The owner was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive to any questions, which made everything even easier and more enjoyable. You can tell they really care about their guests and the property. Service, communication, and the overall atmosphere were all excellent. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

I came for the mushrooms but the mara blew my mind. At age 29 I’m learning about whole mammals I’ve never heard of?? By meeting them in person and feeding them treats from my hand?? Shocking. Stunning. Fantastic.
