We actually didn’t end up staying here because we were in a 24 ft class C motorhome and the route I had planned to get to Tina’s involved a road that really wasn’t appropriate. Tina was very helpful, but we ended up changing our route and staying elsewhere.

What a sweet spot in the Smoky mountains. Joe met us as we pulled in. Was a little leary about having them right next to us but absolutely no issues whatsoever! Explained everything and was so wonderful. We were so happy with it, we stayed an extra day! Just mad we had to leave.

Tina and her husband were very helpful staying up late until we arrived to greet us and help us park. It's the quietest spot we've ever camped in. Everything was as described in their post with power, dump and water. The lake was lovely to hike around - we wished we had a canoe or a way to explore more of it. It was a short stay but peaceful.

We were just so impressed .
The landscape was absolutely breathtaking! Hiking up the mountains ,down the mountains, beautiful natural Creeks water flowing at all times. We set up tent, the tent spot was perfect . Joe made sure we had everything we needed, so attentive.
We absolutely loved the primitive camping experience on the Rocky mountains.
Pretty impressed there's RV hookups available too
My best experience camping ever that I am making sure next year I bring my friends and family ❤️

Tina and Joe were gracious and lovely. The locale was ideal. Water, electric and a place to dump. You could not ask for more. Joe helped me with a couple of items. He is quite handy and an experienced RV’r.
They are 15 minutes from Fontana dam and an AT trail head. Level gravel site. Easy access onto the property.
Free wi-fi.
Could not recommend it more highly.

Perfect secluded location! Within an hour to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and only half hour or so to Bryson City and 45 to Cherokee and Sylva. Perfect location to experience Deals Gap and Fontana Dam! Hosts were very accommodating and welcoming! The property has a nice creek with picnic tables and a fire pit to enjoy the seclusion. While you are next to the hosts home, they are very respectful of your privacy but also right there if you need anything. Very easy to get our 32ft travel trailer in and out of. We will def be back!

Unfortunately we didn't get to stay. Hurricane Helene. Tina was amazing to communicate with, always responded and was so helpful about the area when we first booked. We look forward to staying here when we're in the area. :)

My husband and I stayed at the Love Shack Hideaway for 6 nights. Tina and Joe are absolutely wonderful! We were coming from Arizona, we had been driving for 2 days so unfortunately we didn't arrive until 3am. Joe and Tina were nice enough to stay up and make sure we got settled which we were very grateful for! If you are coming on motorcycles you will not find a better place closer to the Dragon! You will be well taken care of. Full hooks ups and wifi is great since there is no service In the mountains. We will absolutely be back !!

Tina was very nice and accommodating. Made sure we had everything thing we needed and where everything was on-site. We were only staying for an overnight and hitting the road early so didn't really get to enjoy everything the spot had to offer. We will be back.

I said I would be back and I did.
This location is perfect for hitting all the incredible motorcycle rides around the Smokies. Using this location as a base camp allows you to pick a new route each day without having to break camp or worry about your valuables while you ride or hike. And don’t let me forget about the Jeep crowd. There are plenty of good rides off trail nearby as well.
Robbinsville is your closest real shopping and it is a nice ride from camp to the downtown area.
There are a couple of restaurants to choose from along with the fast food chains.

Whether you are here for the motorcycle riding, hiking trails, passing through or just getting away from the noise…this is a perfect location.
Aside from being gracious and accommodating the hosts have provided everything you need for a safe and comfortable spot to stay. Full hookups and a clean out for RV’ers. With room for extra tents.
The site is level, clean and easy to navigate.
There is a large fire pit with plenty of firewood on hand, a very nice wood cooking grill and a gas grill available.
The drive to Asheville and the drive to Gatlinburg from here is amazing.
It is nice to be able to leave for the day and know that your gear and personal items will be safe and secure at the campsite as well.
If you’re traveling with your pets, they will be very comfortable on this property too. The hosts didn’t forget about them.
I am a veteran hipcamper and I will tell you that Tina and Joe are doing it right at the Love Shack Campground.
I was fortunate enough to be the first guest here at the Love Shack campground And I got lucky when I found this gem.
They have incredible plans for the future here and I will definitely be back to enjoy the progress.
