It was our second visit to Wrights farm and it did not disappoint. It’s an easy and smooth checkin. And the farm store onsite is an added bonus. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Gardiner is a quaint town with plenty of restaurants and cafes. And moon mountain is a short drive. The camp site is spacious, and flat with beautiful views and a nice breeze. The new fire ring is also awesome. There is also a port-a-potty which was sparkling clean, and had ample TP and soap. The only little caveat is that the picnic tables are far from the “site”, and they are heavy and old. I would recommend bringing your own table if possible. Overall, I highly recommend Wrights Farm for a spectacular camping experience. We will definitely be back!!

Mike was super nice and responded quickly. He allowed me to stay for a night last minute. There was a picnic table and firepit. There was also wood for sale down the road outside the barn. I cooked a wonderful meal in the firepit and had a gorgeous sleep in my tent on a cot. There is a slope to carry your items up but its not too difficult. You can hear cars on the highway the entire time but I live in Brooklyn NY so that didn’t bother me at all. I would 100% stay here again and hopefully bring my family along as they don’t live far from the property.

We had such a great time at Sam and Melissa's farm! The setting was beautiful and peaceful—we especially loved spending time down by the river. There was lots of privacy and our dog loved swimming and exploring the open space! We even saw some deer. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t fully cooperate and it rained quite a bit, which meant we had to cut our stay short. But Sam and Melissa were incredibly accommodating and kindly refunded us for the night we had to forgo due to the weather. We really appreciated their hospitality and would definitely love to come back under sunnier skies!

We are tucked into a hidden slice of heaven on earth and situated up a ninth-of-a-mile driveway, on 2 acres with a pond, in front of an early 1800s cemetery, on the south side of 276 acres of NYS DEC White Pond Multiple Use Area, giving us the feel of 280 acres of heaven on the edge of a one-mile fresh water spring fed pond that is open to the public as a carry in-carry out recreation area in use summer and winter. We have great blue heron and eagles and otter and hawk and deer and owl and all sorts of critters and flora here with us. This is country. 53 miles north of NYC in the Croton-Harmon Watershed District. Learn more about this land: We are on the north side of Nimham Mountain, complete with its firetower to climb and see the Hudson River Valley and its 1126 acres of NYS DEC Multiple Use Area of mountain bike & equestrian & hiking trails. Some of the only petrogylphs on the east coast are a 2 minute drive and a hike from here to Hawk Rock. The largest effigy of Buddha in the western hemisphere is nearby at 2020 Route 301, Town of Kent, at the American Association of Buddhists headquarters and open to the public 9am - 5pm with its' temple, library, schools, meditation rooms, monastery, grounds to walk, Kwan Yin koi pool, and a free meal on weekends. The Appalachian Trail & Fahnestock State Park are both 20 minutes away, as are the Taconic Parkway or the Town of Southeast MetroNorth train station, or Danbury, CT, or The Great Swamp or Thunder Ridge in Patterson, NY, or the village of Pawling, NY. Named during the pandemic, "Camp COVID Site 19" was born out of our desire to camp, as we weren't able to go camping anywhere! This camp is the back half of our property, located in the village of Tannersville. Camp is divided from our personal yard by a fence. The camp is also completely fenced in once the driveway gates are closed, allowing your pets to safely be off leash if you wish! A long stone driveway leads to camp, with a flat spot to park your skoolie, motorhome, or vehicle. There is a creek running along the entire back side of our property, outside of the fenced in area, which you can access by walking a few feet though the gates under the Camp COVID sign. We have a new bon fire pit in the center of camp, and fires are allowed as long as there is no burn ban in effect. Firewood is on site, and can be added on for $10 per night. We have 2 water hook ups and one 15 amp electric hook up on site, we just ask that you do not run an A/C unit as it will trip our main breaker. There is a dump station at North South Lake State Park and Campground only minutes away in Haines Falls. Instructions and rules are posted in the bath house which has an on demand hot water shower and a composting toilet. There is a garbage can for your convienece which is located in the shed which must be kept closed to avoid black bears visiting! There is a covered dried in area to the left of the shed. We have a half barrel charcoal grill with a flat top griddle as well as several grill grates. One of the grill grates also fits over the fire pit if you prefer fire cooking! There is an RV on site that will not be occupied during your stay, please do not enter, thank you! Come and stay and say hi!

It all started when grandfather Charles B Wright first establish this farm in 1904. He purchased it for its natural springs. In our barn (now home to Gardiner Brewing Company) he had gravity fed water troughs for his cattle. Since then we have slowly switched from animals to tree fruit. You will enjoy rolling hills of fruit trees and fruit gardens along with beautiful views of the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge. We have 450+ acres so it in very private. As we are a working farm, you can see us driving pass with our tractors or maintaining the orchard around your campsite on occasion. You are welcome to ride your bikes, hike or jog where you will pass ponds and a working farm landscape. Please don’t pick our fruit. If you would like to enjoy the fruits of our labor please visit our farm store open year round on the premises where we sell cheeses, our fresh picked fruit and veggies, local meats, and our famous cider donuts along with other farm products. We also have a farm brewery open 3-7 in our old dairy barn for you to enjoy. Live music Saturdays and Sundays. Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Reserve are only 10 minutes away. The rail trail is three minutes away. This trail gives you walking and biking access into New Paltz, where there is tons of restaurants and lots of shopping. Please be aware that during the months of September and October there may be a Pick-Your-Own customer or two walking around picking apples around the campsite area between the hours of 10:00-6:00. You are also welcome to come down to the farm market and purchase bags to pick your own apples in season.

We are in the mountains with great climbing, next to a state park. The campsite is on top of a massive boulder that looks out over the grounds with tons of wildlife surrounding. On a dead end road in the middle of the woods with no other houses within sight. ***PLEASE NOTE: BATHROOMS ARE THE SEASON. A little bit about us. This is a small campground. We do have one Glamping site as well as well as a super luxurious pool house available. We rent small retro RV's as well, see our other listings!! There are 40 acres here to explore with small streams, wetlands and forests. We have 4 modern brand new bathrooms with a hot showers in a beautiful new bathhouse with a charging station for phones and tablets. Its pretty amazing!!!!! A true wilderness experience. Base camp is an old Catskill farmhouse built late 19th century but first deeded 1820. Sits at the base of Evergreen Mountain bordered on three sides by tumbling water: West Kill Creek, Herdman Brook, and Haring Brook. Operated as a hunting and fishing lodge for decades - rainbow, brown, heron, kingfishers, eagles, larks , deer, bear, mink, beaver, bobcat - all there, right out the door, literally. You don't know what's going to come through your camp. The actual camp site itself is the ultimate in social distancing. As close to pure wilderness as it gets. No vehicles allowed at site. From an easily accessible parking space, it's a mildly uphill ten minute hike through magical meadows deep into a hidden mountain valley in the midst of 250,000 acres. Utter privacy. The only sounds being the wind, the birds, yourself, and Herdman Brook rushing along a few yards east of your site. Once again no vehicles are allowed at the campsite itself. At one time, yes, but we needed to disallow it because the property was being torn up, and the beauty of the site is that it's so pristine. This is not glamping. No cabin. No platform. Need tent, tarp, or hammock, and you will sleep under more stars than you can possibly imagine. Fire ring, cooking grate, water bucket This is true wilderness camping. You're off the grid at site - no cell service - but wifi available if necessary on front porch of main house aka base camp. 10 a.m. check in. 3 p.m. checkout. Please send ETA when possible. Campers ought to be aware that black bears live in these mountains., although you're not likely to see one unless it's running away from you. If you're really nervous bring bear spray, but you're not likely to need it. I literally chased one off our porch not a month ago. I would appreciate your purchasing human waste bags from me at base camp when you arrive. I'll have them here for $3.00/bag. Feel free to buy your own. You should also bring FIRE STARTER to make your life easier. We sell firewood as well - 7 logs/$10. As with the waste bags, we would appreciate buying the firewood directly from us. Wonderful hikes - one to a waterfall - trail head at end of Spruceton Rd. Hunter Brook, Devil's Notch, Fire Tower atop Hunter Mountain, Ridge of West Kill Mountain West Kill Brewery and Spruceton Inn Bed and Bar each half mile up the road. Civilized respites. 4 campers preferred. 6 possible. One more thing: DOGS. We have two: a 13 year old female whatever and a shepherd-husky mix, 4 years old, also female. They are quite friendly and docile, although the shepherd looks intimidating, and both roam the property at will 2-3 times/day. This property was once a working apple orchard. Over regulation made it very difficult to manage so we let it lie foul for years. Then we let a fellow farmer use it to graze his cattle. Now our children has taking it over and are raising beef cattle on the property. Our campsite lies on the beautiful two and a half century old LeFevre family farmstead with rich history and stunning views of the Shawangunk Mountain ridge. The property is on a 40-acre old apple orchard that is super private and filled with dramatic views and spectacular sunsets. Wake up in your tent to the sounds of birds chirping, roasters crowing and cows just close enough but just far enough way. On occasion there may be a person driving by to tend to the cattle.
