Great spot. Very private and good space that fitted a tent and a car, There was also a fire pit set up and some logs separated for us. Very nice and cozy camping spot. Would definitely recommend

Quiet, secluded, flat. It was a peaceful stay at a no frills site. I would definitely stay there again! Lots of wildlife…deer, turkey, owl, coyotes. Nice and Simple!

This is a great site. Just off the road, up a little dirt road, and into a big open meadow. I keep coming back since the sites are level and big enough for my camper. This time, the colors were spectacular. Highly recommended!

We had a great time here! Stephanie was friendly and quick to respond. The directions were clear and the site was easy to find. Great location for many trails in the high peaks. Nice tucked away spot for privacy, even when someone is in the other site. The site is spacious and beautiful. We didn’t have service at the site, so I would recommend downloading maps for trails, etc before arriving.

Weekend Trip to Jay Mountain Vista

We had a wonderful stay at the Jay Mountain Vista campsite! There is ample room to wander and play. The tent/RV pad was well maintained and easily accommodated two tents, one of which sleeps 8 campers. It's conveniently located next to the Ausable river, which offers quite a refreshing dip after a strenuous and muddy hike up Porter. How nice it was to be able to run over to Jay, with some nice dining options and food markets. Stephanie, the host, is extremely responsive and communicates clearly. Great place to camp!

Great site; close enough to all the fun but far enough away to be peaceful. The weather could’ve been a tad dryer but we made the most of it!
