We really enjoyed our stay. Frank was a great host. Provided awesome food and fishing tips for his pond filled with bass, crappie, catfish, and trout. We had full hook ups with a gorgeous view. We were so lucky with amazing weather and the morning sunrise with nice cup of coffee was so relaxing. Frank had a great fire going that was relaxing. Very peaceful, and quiet place to visit. Look forward to staying again.

Another great visit tent camping at Cascadilla Meadow! Janelle is a fantastic and responsive host, we greatly appreciate the firewood and water they provided. There’s hiking spots within walking distance from the site, and the location isn’t far from many other neat hiking spots. The goldenrod in the meadow are so lovely this time of year too :) absolutely recommend!!

I stayed for 5 nights and loved it. Lots of birds and sounds of wildlife here. The property is beautiful. There was fire wood and water waiting at the site. Minimal to no service with Verizon in the area. Comfortable bike ride into the university for this area.

Camping on Dlayne & Frank's land was transformative and healing. When I arrived, Frank brought me a seafood platter to die for - just because he is that kind of host. The farm was breathtaking and serene. The pups loved the hiking trails and the pictures don't do it justice. This is a place where one comes to commune with mind, body, and spirit. I could have as much privacy as I possibly wanted, but I also opted to get to know Frank (it's his farm) and he is one of the kindest people I've ever met (and chef extraordinaire)! I now consider him a friend. Camping on the farm was one of the best experiences of my life (I say this in earnest) and I did not want to leave. I also got to meet Honey the pet pig, Nugget the pet turkey, and the other pet farm animals. They were a welcome addition to my camping experience!

Although it was a bit difficult to find, the site itself was huge! My partner & I were the only ones there during our stay but the whole area might be big enough for about 5 other tents. The campground is located right across the road from a Nature Preserve. The camp is very open, with tons of options for where to put your tent. Theres a big firepit in the center with backup wood in a sheltered shelving unit. There is a composting toilet in a zippered tent-like structure on the edge of the property. The location is about a 5 min drive away from the center of Ithaca. It's mostly far away from other buildings but it looks like theres a factory across the street, neighbored by the Nature Preserve. The building has some pretty bright lights in some of the windows, otherwise it's mostly dark. The only suggestion I have is maybe upgrading the composting toilet situation from a tent to a tiny wooden structure. We were only able to use it the first day, before the heat & the flies made it pretty unusable. All in all, I would recommend this spot for any couple or small group for camping. I would also love to return again!

This was by far the best experience I have had on my camping journey! If you love the outdoors, nature, and wildlife this stop is a MUST! Frank was an incredible host who shared my love for Bears and he has the best stories to share. He is a kind and gracious host who treats his guests to a phenomenal welcome tray of seafood! After a long day of traveling this meal was amazing! The property is serene and beautiful and peacuful. My dog's enjoyed visiting with Frank and all of his animals and hiking up the hill to amazing views. I was blessed to be able to check out the hunting cabin which is a story on it's own. We made friends with Nugget the Turkey who loved to hang out with us and made me laugh out loud! If I had room in the camper, Nugget would be joining us HA! Frank is one of the best hosts I have encountered and I left with my heart full and feeling like I met a new friend. Thank you for all of your hospitality and stories and kindness...we hope to see you again soon!!

Camping at Julie's place was awesome. The site was perfect for our little camper but easily can accommodate larger ones. It had everything we needed and then some unexpected extras! The location was gravel and level with easy access in and out. Power and water were right there and the She Shed had the bathroom and sink plus a refrigerator fully stocked with drinks. There is also a deck with chairs out front of the shed which was great to get out of the sun. Julie and LJ (husband) were very accommodating and had great communication. They allow dogs off leash and out Boston terrier had loads of space for him to run around. There is a fire pit with wood next to it and lots of seating and a table. We wanted for nothing there. It was a great view and experience!

What a stunning piece of magic! We got rained out for the weekend, but even so, we had the best time hiking (the waterfalls were in all their glory) and cozying up in our skoolie - reading, playing card games, and dancing. We slept like babies. Janelle (who was great) greeted us and set us up with firewood, and although we had no need to use it, we peeked in the camping toilet, and consider that a great perk. We haven’t seen that in many Hipcamp sites. Great location, quiet, beautiful, and the land has great energy. We loved it and if we’re ever in the area, this will be our spot!

We just returned from our great trip from Mountain Hollow Farm. A fantastic experience. Frank was a gracious host. His land is breath taking. The long hiking trail and open fields were heaven for our 2 dogs. His well stocked fishing pond is a site to see. The "guard" turkey "NUGGETS" AKA '"Tom" was a fun addition to our visit. Top Rate ...highly recommended. We will definitely be returning.

This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. Ithaca: Cascadilla Meadow is located just 5 minutes from Cornell University and 10 minutes from all downtown Ithaca has to offer. Ithaca is well known for its many incredible restaurants, Farmers Market, local stores and art, theatre, wineries and breweries and of course, live music. Finger Lakes: In just 10-20 minutes from this location, you will find an abundance of waterfalls including Ithaca Falls, Buttermilk Falls and Taughannock Falls. Cayuga Lake is great for Sailing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Lake swimming is available at Myers Park in Lansing or Taughannock State Park outside of Trumansburg. Jump off a diving board into the pool at the bottom of Lower Treman Falls or hike upper Treman to Lucifer Falls, possibly the most beautiful short hike you’ll ever find.
