This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. Once owned by the Vanderhoffs, the property operated as a dairy and vegetable farm. We have 125 acres to enjoy. We have a small peach grove and a large garden. We house honey bees and we have 23 horses on site. The farm has two ponds to enjoy fishing and swimming. Plenty of trails to hike, cross country ski, snow shoe. Come enjoy nature.

A peaceful rustic OFF GRID getaway nestled in the Finger Lakes. Settle into our cozy cabin overlooking a beautiful pond with a large covered porch. Listen to the bullfrog, the peepers, and the owls hoot. You can explore the trails or enjoy the pond - throw in a line, take a quick dip, or paddle around.
Our OFF GRID cabin has a queen-sized bed, propane lights, and wood stove. The campsite has a wonderful fire pit and fully stocked outhouse. The horse stable is a short walk away, with easy access to running drinkable water.
If you feel like exploring the area we recommend hiking the Watkins Glen State Park and wine/beer tasting on the Finger Lakes Wine and Beer Trail.

Weekend Trip to Peaceful Forrest
Been to the cabin several times. Very beautiful and well kept. Very peaceful with hiking trails with views that are amazing. The owner is great he even kept cabin open for us two weeks after he usually shut down for the season. If you get a chance definitely check out this hip camp.

Weekend Trip to Haven in the trees
Beautiful location and views! The cabin is so lovely- straight forward but also well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches and art! Loved hanging on the screen-in porch and being able to take a hot shower outside. Sauna was incredible, just takes time and patience :) Air mattress was comfier than I expected too. I hope to return for another staycation in the woods soon!

The cabin was extremelyclean and spacious. The wifi worked great and the big TV came in handy for the rainy day. We couldn't have asked for a cozier place to stay. This is our 3rd stay at Minglewood and it never disappoints. The cabin is always clean, cozy and warm with the wood stove. Ithaca, Watkins Glen and Taughannock State Park are all a short drive away. We will definitely be back!

3 nights at Tequila Sunrise: Lakeside Casitas
Great location right on Cayuga Lake for a long weekend getaway! Beautiful and private setting, friendly and thoughtful host! We would absolutely visit again!
Las Casitas are comfortable, clean, and cozy - and literally steps to the water! Though we stayed for a few days in October when it was too chilly to go into the lake, this is an ideal spot to swim or drop in a kayak. Susan was a great host and checked in to make sure we had all that we needed! We brought our camping cooking gear to supplement what the cabin offers. Sitting by the Solo stove campfire at night was relaxing, and the porch is a perfect spot for morning coffee! The bed was so comfortable, and a small electric heater that was provided worked well to keep us warm when the temperature dipped lower overnight. Also, we had never used an incinerating toilet before - no issues, easy to use!
This spot is private (close to Susan’s cabin but separated by trees) and quiet, while also close to everything the area has to offer - specifically state parks with amazing waterfall hiking (Taughannock is a quick 5 minute drive south, while Buttermilk Falls and Treman are 15-20 minutes south), and cideries and wineries (don’t miss the incredible Finger Lakes Cider House, just 10 minutes north). Likewise, it’s just up the road from Trumansburg and about 15 minutes into Ithaca for more amenities.

The cabin was a lovely retreat and had all the essentials and more needed for the two of us and our pup. Highly recommend the walk to the park waterfall. Also nice added touches to have a good space heater and corn hole set up available. Very easy to access Watkins Glen and nearby parks.

This is truly an amazing space. Offers multiple places to stay depending on your likes and dislikes. It’s relatively remote, however very peaceful surroundings. Made use of the water activities as well as visited many nearby towns. What a gracious hostess.

Our second visit. This place is just magical. One weekend is not enough time. If it were open in the Winter we'd totally come here to ski and get away-even if there was no indoor plumbing...hint hint :) Just need a wood stove or pellet stove situation :)

Weekend Trip to Sunswick Farm
The cabin was so clean and lovely! It was nicely secluded and cozy as well. We were especially happy to walk the trails in bloom and enjoy our coffee by the creek - watching the chipmunks scurry. We would absolutely come back for another visit!

This is an awesome cabin, and Amber is an excellent host! Amber was VERY responsive from the first moment and all through our stay. She made sure everything was right and we had what we needed. She went above and beyond, even making sure that the Wagyu steaks she left for us would be thawed by the appropriate time! She has outfitted the cabin very thoughtfully and comfortably. It was clean and new - no webs or dirt here. The screened in porch has a gas grill and grill utensils. The cabin and the porch are well lit and there is a nice cozy propane heater inside. There is a nightstand with a cute lamp and 2 comfy real beds fully outfitted with bedding (and extra blankets!). There are many well-considered details including a lighter, wine bottle opener, oven mitts, metal roasting sticks for toasting marshmallows and hot dogs (can grill multiple at the same time), a small assortment of chips and some bottled water, paper plates and paper towels, a fire extinguisher, coathooks ..... everything you might need. Lots of extra chairs and a table to put wherever. The cabin locks for security, if you decide to leave. The port a potty is the cleanest one you will ever see and it even has a light for night. The outdoor heated shower is also very nice. Great fields adjacent for walking and enjoying the great scenery and Seneca Lake. So there's no water... you'll live. Get one of those water canisters with the spout and you'll be fine.

What a great cabin! The inside had a wonderful hygge feel, and the wood stove is legit. Loved that the kitchen was outdoors, too. The best aspects were being able to let our dogs roam and explore as it was so peaceful and remote, yet a quick drive to our favorite FLX spots. Couldn't recommend Minglewood more highly!

The cabin we stayed in is situated in a walnut grove beside a bubbly stream. On the last day, we checked out the waterfall at the end of the drive. Wow! Next time maybe I will forgo the cabin so I can sleep beside the tranquil sounds of the waterfall.
