Nestled near the peaceful shores of Port Bay in Wolcott, our family-friendly campground offers beautiful walks to the lake, fun activities, and a relaxing atmosphere for campers of all ages. Enjoy quiet surroundings, plenty of sporting equipment for active guests, and a HUGE Pirate Ship Playground for younger campers. A wooded trail to Lake Ontario is serene and ends at a beautiful pebble beach where you can walk along the shore or wade in the water. Kayak rentals are available. Choose from spacious tent sites, RV spots, or cozy rental options depending on how you like to camp. Sites are level and close to amenities without feeling crowded. Many offer partial or full shade, and all provide the peaceful, natural atmosphere you’re looking for. Nearby activities include: State parks, the New York Renaissance Faire, campground events, wine tours, restaurants, golf courses, ice cream stops, Apple Country, and Oswego Speedway. Amenities include: Clean restrooms and hot showers, picnic tables and fire rings, walk-to-water access for wading or kayaking, fishing spots just a short drive down the bay, family-friendly open spaces, nearby boat launches, and convenient access to local shops and restaurants.Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset off the spacious deck. Grill outside with the whole family or partake of a family meal using the large kitchen and dining room. Feel close to family but comfortable with all the possible sleeping for 8 or more guests. Get outdoors with walking, fishing, volleyball and more. Play your favorite games and watch the kids delight in the playground and the sandbox. Rest and Relax at your leisure. There is a beautiful kitchen with a granite peninsula and tile countertop. The living room is spacious with a couch, love seat, and reclining chair. The master bedroom features a queen bed, closet and dresser with a futon and additional dresser in the extended space. The upstairs bedroom is a one looong room with a queen bed at one end and two twin beds at the other. It also features a dresser and a love seat for sitting. There is a cute little porch to sit in between the master bedroom and the deck. The deck features a a grill, seating area, and an outdoor eating table. HOT TUB On the deck for up to 4 people with dusk to Dawn lights. The backyard is part of Port Bay Campground and is available for playing, walking, or participating in community events. The front yard contains a fire ring for any late night relaxation and fun. This beautiful cottage is located near the corner of Port Bay and Lake Ontario. It includes small boat access to the bay, and a nice stroll through a wooded path to Lake Ontario. On the shore of Lake Ontario is a pebbly beach with shallow water. Enjoy getting your feet wet or bring a picnic as well. We are not directly on the lake or bay, but there is access within walking distance. This cottage is also part of the Port Bay Campground. The campground features a pavilion, horseshoes, a volleyball net, a large sandbox and playground for the kids, plenty of space for kicking the soccer ball around or throwing a frisbee, a basketball hoop, and plenty of seated games and space for close family times. Holiday Policy: Weekend must include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights minimum. Airbnb may not filter for this. We reserve the right to cancel any bookings not adhering to this policy.

Such a nice, quiet place to stay. The bathhouse has bagged ice for sale and amazing water pressure for a steamy shower. The washer and dryer fee is cheaper than the laundry mat! And there's a rather large library within the bathhouse. I read about 7 books this summer while staying here! There's also chopped wood for sale by the bundle!! The beach is such a short walk away and it's almost a private beach given that it's at the end of a dead end road. My family and I had a great summer at Port Bay campground! I only wish it were open past October 14th (lol) The family is so nice and accommodating, too!!

Beautiful Family Cottage on PortBay
The small cabin was a perfect stay for my birthday with my significant other. Nice and close to water for an early morning stroll. The owners were super nice and had their kids deliver firewood before our arrival. Wifi was available and cabin had all the necessary amenities for a weekend stay. Will definitely be going back for more visits to this campground. To clarify this was from last year. Have been in the area since and yes the owners have done a great deal of updating and improving on the campground.
