Our Space is in the heart of the Griegos Neighborhood ,
a very old style , old world area.
Same Hispanic families have lived here since 1712, no joke, that is real.
Rural feel for an urban / suburban setting , space space, off street parking.
We are NOT an RV park nor are we a " camp ground " .
We are organic gardens ( Urban Permaculture ) that you can stay inside a magical, growing goodness space .
This place is very, very private . The parking area is not private . The garden wall around the whole tent area has a 6 foot tall , very thick wall , and trees , surrounding every thing. There is a forest and pond for ducks behind the garden .
Our place is for Wildlife, to be fed, and given water and safe space to raise young. We are located in an area where the birds of the world fly from the north to the south and then change direction each season. Many lizards .
We have many wild mammals as well. We have no pets and no livestock.
At night this is dark ( we do have solar lights on walk ways ) and it is peaceful. A safe zone for travelers . Serene , gentle and lovely . You get your privacy .
New Mexico is so amazing, all year . We have inside space in Fall / Winter .
We are in the North valley of Albuquerque New Mexico 87107.
The same families have lived here for 100, 200, 300 plus years .
Native people have lived in this valley for close to 20,000 years more .
We live in an Organic Urban Permaculture Garden, surrounded by trees, birds, amazing skies. Spring can be windy, Summer ( May until Oct. ) Hot ,
Fall just right, and Winter short. We love it here.
The Rio Grande is very close by ( 2 miles west of us ) bike or by car .
We are close to route 40 and route 25, just 7 mins. away .
There is a Food Co-op with in a 5 mins. drive . And a regular store and gas within one mile of our place.
Come eat Traditional New Mexican Foods , and Heal with traditional New Mexican Herbal Medicines .
Relax, rest, find repose.
Old Town is close by, so is the Rio Grande River and Nature Center ( 2 miles up the street ) . So many things in our area to see, to do, learn history .
Awesome food, music and arts/ crafts, everywhere. So much activity all over.

Many great local restaurants, a coffee shop, a brewery and grocery store all within 7 minutes. A 30 minute drive will take you to quirky and quaint Madrid, NM, with Santa Fe only another 30 minutes away. Our guests are welcome to used the shared space that encompasses a picnic table, flat pavers for lounging, yoga, or hammock usage, and a firepit area for use when fire bans are not in effect.
A great base camp for hiking, biking, and all the wonders that New Mexico offers.
We are located 1.3 miles back on a dirt road that has some steep sections and can have washboard sections during certain times of the year. During winter times, 4-wheel drive is necessary. We welcome (and LOVE!) dogs, but they must remain on leash and out of respect for our neighbors, are unable to allow disruptive/barking dogs.

You can explore Native American ruins that were inhabited by some 2,000 people between 700-1100 AD. The grounds are wonderful to walk with a little lake which draws elk, deer, hawks, blue herons, etc.
Easy to access just 3 minutes off I-25. We are 5 minutes away from the Pecos Natl Monument and 15 minutes away from the Pecos River with plenty of great fishing spots…Visit Santa Fe (20-minute drive) or Las Vegas (30-minute drive) with dozens of restaurants, museums, art galleries, etc.

Please respect our neighbors by remaining within the "Glamp Zone"
This glamp zone occupies only 1.25 acres. Part of our mission in creating this space is to bring folks together. We encourage campers to mingle. Maybe organize a group float down the Chama. The float from just above Bodes to our very own shore is wonderful. It takes about two hours. There is one challenging spot, but beside that, the float is calm and tranquil.
Please be aware, we have cats, chickens, goats and dogs that live on the property. Your pets are welcome only if they are guaranteed to not pester or hurt our gang of pets. Also, we will not tolerate excessive barking or inappropriate running around or bothering ourselves or other guests. You must pick up all your and your pets waste and take it with you when you leave.

Set up your camp in an old growth tree forest. Slowly, you will unwind and relax. A change comes over you, softening and lightening your perceptions of what is important.

We are setting up hikes, walks, and we are rebuilding our Remote Control off road course(Remote Controlled 4x4's ).

We have a different fee arranged for Festival camping participants. As well as Pancake breakfasts, lunches and grilled dinners in the works.
NOTE: The fire 🔥 flashed FAST through our woods. Charring trees and bushes. Which will be here for several years. Because of this, there will be more pastured meadows than before. As well as more flowers and underbrush.
With the June and July rains we should have fresh new grass, leaves, plants by the time of your visit.
