The property borders a local acequia (ditch water way) with quick access to nature walkways, bike paths and the Rio Grand River. Lots of bike and walkways. 1.2 miles to the Balloon Fiesta Park. Excellent location for attending or viewing from the land.

Beautiful leveled gravel appt with full hook ups. Right next to ranch field and lots of trees. A gem in Los Ranchos. You must be able to maneuver your vehicle well and back up a trailer. There is no pull through options. Very close to balloon fiesta park

Great, open space that we felt comfortable in during our stay for the balloon fiesta! We had the place to ourselves midweek and were grateful for the short drive to the balloon parking - about 2 miles. On the day we were leaving, we got to enjoy a fantastic view of the balloons and had several land in the surrounding fields. Very cool experience! I anticipated it being a lot louder with it being in the city, but it was quiet and an awesome snag for an amazing price when everything skyrockets during fiesta week!

Nice space but lots of bugs. Mosquitos, ants, and spiders were all over the campsite. It was a pretty site. The sound of the highway nearby was loud throughout the night.

Overall we had a great experience because the weather was excellent and there are alpacas and cows in the nearby properties which make for a lovely setting. However the site is just a big field. There are no designated spots, getting to the site is cumbersome, and there is a significant spider presence. Great for self-contained campers who don't mind hand-hauling gear and a rustic experience.

Good place to stay for the balloon fiesta. It's not close enough to walk (about 2.7mi walk) but was an easy drive to the fiesta. Directions were clear and accurate.

This was a great location for our small group in town for the Balloon Fiesta. The directions were easy to follow, and it was just a short drive to festivities. We really appreciated that the property had 2 lines of tall trees which offered shade for camping and parking. Would definitely make this our base camp again.

You’re basically in a field in a neighborhood. So there were still “city sounds” but it felt secluded! Nice trees for some shade. Easy to access and then get right into the city

We loved our experience! The kids loved camping next to the lamas!! Also Not far from the Ballon festival grounds and looved our last day watching the fun from the lot...the balloons landed RIGHT infront of us!

Cassandra’s camping spot was the perfect location for the hot air balloon festival in Albuquerque. It really beat the alternative of a very expensive hotel for the weekend.

Great location for attending the balloon fiesta. We stayed 2 nights and saw the balloons land in the field next to us. Communication from the host was a little slower than expected but still very friendly and willing to help out with 2nd night accommodations

We were there during the balloon fiesta and saw 3 balloons land on either side of our site. It was a convenient location to the fiesta. It was also fun to see lamas next door. It's a long driveway and requires some maneuvering for a bigger rig, but once you're situated, it's a great place.

One of my favorite places to camp, private and plenty of shade. Close enough to store and bike trails. Relaxing time. Don’t forget mosquito spray.

Had a nice time camping out here, Cassandra was nice and informative. Really like the amount of shade with over hanging trees. Afternoons and evenings were much cooler, especially on 100+ temp days. Aside from mosquitoes and creepy crawlers I had a good time and would camp there again.

Awesome spot to watch the balloon fiesta. Was right in the landing zone. We watched the mass ascension from our camper and then watched them land in the field across the street. So amazing. We loved it so much we came back for another night

Cassandra's land was an awesome base for camping to attend the Balloon Fiesta! The tent area had much more shade then where we were on the other side of the fence for the camper van. The coordinates didn't show the correct spot on the map for me, but it was easy to figure out from the directions provided. We did have an issue with a water source being left on and filling the area of the field where cars were parked with water - it got pretty sloshy, but Cassandra quickly sent someone over to remedy the situation and the field dried out relatively quickly that next day! We really were thrilled with the location and were grateful to have found it. Only wished we had see a balloon land in the field, which Cassandra said does happen. We recommend this Hipcamp!

We enjoyed our stay! Cassandra was a very kind host and super responsive. The rate was a steal during the Balloon Fiesta and the location is convenient if you’re attending that event. 2 mile walk to the grounds! We also had a fabulous dinner at Farm 2 Table, one of Albuquerques best restaurants, and they were amused we were camping right in their backyard. The property was lovely but we had a couple of hiccups. Be sure to triple confirm the coordinates ahead of time because we wound up trespassing on a property that looked very similar to the photos. Also, if you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs!! The combination of neighborhood dogs, highway noise and air traffic had me running to CVS to grab some last minute. Other campers were friendly and respectful.

We had a blast camping on Cassandra’s land! We came for the balloon fiesta and had an amazing view right from the campsite! Then we walked down the beautiful hiking/biking trail right next to the lot and watched up close as the balloons landed in the field across the street. It was such a cool experience. The property was clean and spacious. And the porta potty was the cleanest one I’ve ever used! We like it so much we are coming back again!
