My first Hipcamp experience

Directions were right on . Instructions were easy to follow. WiFi worked great the first night, second night said too many networks in use.
Felt safe with gated area and allowed dogs to roam when closed. Slept great the first night, after dogs in street or neighbors stopped barking . The second night dogs barked continually until 3 am , this was a Friday night. Unsure where they came from . AirPods helped but still could here as parked next to the road. No real road noises. I had a Tag, so set up roller spot with tent. No shower facilities.

The owners, M&M, set a high bar for our first HipCamp experience. Their site is very private, spacious, tidy, well equipped & nicely done all around. Our dually Sprinter RV fit with no problem though both the gate and inside the level gravel lot. The 30 amp electric hook up was better than a lot of RV parks we’ve seen. The water hose pressure was excellent (35 psi) for hook up. Once we closed the gate, we were able to let our dog roam the yard after a long day on the road since we were the only ones there. The Solo Ranger stove, firewood, picnic table & lawn chairs made for a nice dinner al fresco and relaxing evening alongside a warm fire. The hosts came out to greet us & check if we needed anything. We highly recommend a stay here, and would enjoy the opportunity to return again next time we are traveling through Albuquerque.

This RV space is in a lovely neighborhood and close to the Balloon Fiesta. The yard is gated and has a pretty great view of balloons depending which way the wind takes them. The space has water & electric and there is a dump site near property. Take a walk around the neighborhood! You will love it!

Our friends & I had a great time camping in our RVs at this location during the Abq Balloon Fiesta! It’s about 2 miles from the festival park, in a safe/gated location, and centrally located to so many things. The best part was waking up and having coffee and breakfast in our PJs while watching balloons drift literally right over us on one of the mornings we didn’t actually go in to the park. One even landed at the lot right across from us and the balloon crew let us watch it deflate. Such a cool experience. We had water and electricity and plenty of space to enjoy ourselves. Host was helpful and responsive to all our needs. Camping was a unique experience for those 5 nights and a memory we’ll cherish forever.

The place was very well maintained.. required no involvement from the owner. Hookups were easy to find an use and were in great shape. Enjoyed the privacy and nice accommodations.

We loved our RV parking in Manny’s yard! The instructions were clear and the place was exactly like described (maybe even better)! Everything was clean and well maintained. Easy and fast access to Balloon Fiesta with Uber. We enjoyed!

We loved the privacy of the closing gates, the hook ups were easy, the wifi was great. It was a quiet neighborhood and Manny was super responsive. We found it easier to back in our travel trailer. Will stay again on our next trip west.

Beautiful setup with a nice yard for your dog to explore. We had the place to ourselves. We did have a little trouble backing into the space but no fault to Manny or his wonderful home. Manny answered every text quickly. Would definitely recommend especially vans and class c.

Beautiful house and space but no privacy. Two spaces for RV in front of the house full of open windows. The yard and grounds were very well kept and even provided doggy bags and soft grass. Our only issue was the water hook up which was confusing. There was one on the house and then we found one behind a huge rose bush so we opted not to use it just because we weren’t sure how it worked. It was great for a last minute late night stop.

Pretty spot with hookups; especially appreciated the electric gate which when closed allowed my pup to run freely at the site since I was the only one there.

Very nice!! Fairly large level gravel parking space (1 of 2) in a nice quiet neighborhood conveniently located in the NW quadrant of Albuquerque suburbs. Manny was very accommodating making sure I had everything I needed for my stay. Would definitely recommend this location to others and would also plan on staying there again if my travel plans called fir an ivernite stay in Albuquerque. Thank you Manny!

Manny is a very responsive, accommodating and friendly host. His property is located in a residential area within two miles from the Balloon Fiesta Park. It is so close that the balloons fly right over the property, a magical thing to watch.
The space offers room for two RV’s which is great when traveling with friends like we were, and he offers water and electrical hookups. This property is also dog friendly which was great for our two dogs.
The property is a very nice Southwestern style home with a beautiful metal gate, providing an added element of security while staying there. Manny offers a firepit which we used one night to socialize around, it was very pleasant.
We very much enjoyed our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. We highly recommend this property. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Manny is such a welcoming host. The space was larger than the photo, and that was great. Everything was as advertized, clean, safe, and close to the Balloon Fiesta. Manny also gave us some great suggestions for local restaraunts and shopping. So fun. I would highly recommend staying there.

Manny quickly responds to questions and check in is easy. Location is perfect for quick access to Balloon Fiesta and shopping/restaurants in a quiet neighborhood. Since we have just the 24 ft RV, we had no problems backing into space. Others with a travel trailer might have more of a challenge. Highly recommend.

The neighborhood here is typical, peaceful North Valley. It’s centrally located given Albuquerque’s layout. The hosts are wonderful, cheerful, and helpful people! They helped me get my trailer backed in and correctly positioned for their electric plug in. I used the hose to refill my fresh water tank before leaving. I highly recommend these folks!

Their yard has parvo my dog got the virus during our visit parvo stays in the ground for 7 years just beware with your dogs

We stayed 1 quick night, nice, clean affordable place for a short stop👍 Manny was very responsive with any questions I had. Backing up the 29ft trailer was pretty tricky!. Would not recommend for new rv-ers, it's definitely a test on ur skills. Other then that all was well. The neighbors camping in the spot next to us were kind.
