Explore nature’s wonderland; starting with 27 acres of woods and waterfront beauty on Powder Mill Pond and the Contoocook River. During the warmer weather, you can hop in one of the kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats, (on-site for a small rental fee), sunbathe on the refreshing 30 ft. lily pad, or simply relax in the swing

or hammock looking out over Mount Monadnock. During the winter, cross country ski, ice skate or fish or strap-on a pair of the complimentary

snowshoes, ...while year round, enjoy sharing s’mores and stories by the fire pit!

The Lemon Drop

The Lemon Drop Cottage is on my family compound with a house, gardens and lovely cottage (The Lemon Drop) . We've lived here 23 years and enjoy all four seasons.  Clean air, great places to do and see are close by.  Your cottage has its own driveway and the backyard is reserved for you to sit, have a fire and BBQ.  Firepit with approval, due to local conditions.
  The Lemon Drop Cottage is  located next door to my home.   NO interaction with others is needed to enter etc. It's a private spot. A former hunting cabin, now renovated, with its own PRIVATE driveway..  The cottage is 700 sq feet, open concept;  small fully equipped kitchen, shower (the shower is full size and located in the kitchen area.....the bathroom has a toilet and sink) , comfy queen bed, and linens. The cottage is well heated and insulated. We have great wifi and ROKU TV.   We are 4.5 miles to Peterborough center, 1 mile to Harvester Market, a 1/4 mile to Oak Park (venue for music etc and running track). Harlow's Pub, antiquing, and outdoor spots to people watch or sit near the river with a coffee are pleasant. Ski Crotched Mountain  or snowshoe on our 6 acre field (snowshoes provided).  Children welcome and stay is no charge for them with advance notice.

We are a farm located in Grafton NH. We have 10 acres of open pasture surrounded by 3 mountains. Due to having a constant breeze. We have installed wind chimes through the entire property. Over 500 miles of trails for hiking and biking, 4 mountains within 15 minutes of your site for climbing and 5 lakes with many rivers for fishing.


Eagles Aerie Sugar Shack

We are a 150 yr old farm that is small and quaint. This beautiful spot sits on the precipice of a beautiful shaded ledge type setting with a brook running 50 feet below.  The minute you settle down you are lulled into a peaceful, restful state, making it easy to fall asleep, or just relax. 

The Sugar Shack is ideal for two people. 

I suggest you bring your own sleeping bags.  

Additional bedding is provided.   

No electricity except at house and no heat.  

Completely weatherproof!  

Prepare yourself for a relaxing weekend.   

You have the use of the large back deck off the house. 

There is a propane grill and a propane fire pit should there be a fire ban.

  We have events and a farm store to visit enjoy the seasons! 

  Enjoy visiting Franklin Falls Dam with miles of hiking, fishing, disc golf course,  swimming hole and biking just 2/10 of a mile from your tent.  

   Veggies / fruit to pick seasonally. We offer a farm store. We offer soaps, jams, herbs and hand spun hand knit or felted items to sample / buy.

  30 minutes from Lake Winnisquam, Winnipesaukee, and 45 minutes from White Mountains. 20 minutes to Meredith, 20 minutes toBristol and 25 minutes to New Found Lake area

Come have fun! Remember, you’re coming for a peaceful rural experience with an introduction to farming / making things from the produce grown on this farm and other local farms.

The Fox and Crow Farm

The Fox and Crow Farm is happy to share their farm and Off Grid cabin with you! Only 1 secluded cabin located in the center of 100 acres and abuts an additional 300 acres of forest land. It is Private! Enjoy our hiking trails and find your way to the Crooked Run River. There is no electricity/running water. It’s “Off the grid”. Solar lighting/shower, outhouse onsite. Handy kitchen and dining area with first floor sleeping. You won't want to leave. Just bring food and drinks and unwind in a certified wildlife habitat.
No pets are allowed at this cabin.
You must hike to the cabin (1/4 mile hike, down hill which means there is a slight climb to get back to your car) So pack light.
The cabin includes some taxidermy and fragrances and the woods are home to bugs and wild animals. Please be sure you understand the overall experience here before booking.
We close our gate to the farm after 6pm to limit traffic through the farm so come prepared for a campfire cooked dinner and plan to relax.
