We are 20 minutes from historic Weston, MO, 30 minutes from historic St. Joseph, and 30 minutes from downtown Kansas City.

We are a 420 friendly property. Campers must comply to all Missouri regulations.
Under no circumstances should visitors trespass over to any of the neighboring properties. We have had multiple campers trespassing across the fence to the neighbors property. Neighbors are nice people but because of the multiple incidents and damage done to fences and their property, they did notify me that they will prosecute. Thank you for respecting this policy.

Seven Oaks is our home. There are 40 acres of hardwood timber on the Platte river and 10 acres of grass and wildflowers; Miles of rustic trails for hiking or biking, some appropriate for hayrides; picnic table and a 300 sq. ft. treehouse with hammocks for relaxation; Play a game of Cornhole; Fish in our pond or the Platte river. We are 15 minutes from Smithville lake boat ramp.
We are limiting the 40 acres of timber to five groups of campers to provide privacy and seclusion for all. Topside is The Barn and The Hickory Forest RV/tent sites which have water and RV power hookups available. The lower level has three other tent camp sites available.
WARNINGS! Hazards on our property include, but are not limited to: Biting insects, wild animals, dead fall trees (especially on the river bottom), slick and muddy approach to the river. In general, keep in mind you are camping in a timber and nature happens!

Milo has mant tent sites, car camping sites (for retroverted cars & sprinter vans), 6 cabins, a luxury guest space for you to stay! Sorry we DO NOT have any RV spots at this time. We are on 7 beautiful acres in Baldwin City, KS. We're in town, but you'll feel like you're secluded in the country so you get the convenience of being close to downtown Baldwin, just 3 minutes away, while also feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere peacefully camping, just you and the birds. Our "glamper" is a 1960's retro camper that has been fully restored. The outside still looks very retro, but when you step inside you'll instantly surrender to the relaxation that awaits. We live on a 15 acre farm. We have a barn, and a fenced in yard for the dogs. Much of the acreage is fenced off for cows. We have a small vegetable garden in the spring and summer and a large flower garden space in progress. There's a small pond on the property. In additions to cows, we also have chickens, barn cats, and dogs. We have a second driveway and half-circle drive for parking a camper or car, as well as flat spaces to pitch a tent.
There is fishing nearby at the Amarugia Highlands Conservation Area and the city park.

I booked a reservation last minute since there was work being done on my apartment, and this place was the perfect escape from the stressful situation! Our stay was wonderful! Kenny set our son up for some successful Birthday fishing! We jumped on the trampoline, swam, fished and enjoyed all the animals. The highlight was Finn’s catfish catch with Kenny’s supplied bait. Our trip even ended with the gift of a beautiful feather. Thanks for hosting a great night and morning!

The stars, the sunset, the crickets, the cicadas. Beautiful spot. The goats were cute, the site was plenty far removed from houses to be quiet. The site had a flat spot to park my Subaru and sleep flat in it. You have to get out of the car to and open the gates upon arrival and departure, but someone quickly came out to make sure i got it (it was self-explanatory, but i was worried about letting the goats out!). He was friendly. Do try to use the restroom at the gas station before you get off i70 though, because the site is wide open with houses in eye shot in the day time!

Last minute decision to camp out was great! The area is definitely only accessible via 4X4 after all the rain we've had. There were paths mowed and I was able to find a spot to camp with my hammock on the back of the bronco. I will come back but may wait until after the first freeze to avoid the bugs! Beautiful bird watching (Indigo Buntings everywhere!) and heard the owls calling to each other all night!

My husband and I took our first camping trip this weekend together, and we’re so grateful we chose this campground! We had our own little secluded campsite away from everyone else, which made it feel so peaceful. We loved spending time at the beach, fishing, and just enjoying the outdoors.
Ken and Joan were absolutely wonderful. Ken went out of his way to help us since we had very little fishing experience, and thanks to his help we ended up catching a huge catfish! He even helped us handle it afterward, which we definitely appreciated. 😅
We also loved seeing all the animals around the property, the beautiful peacocks roaming freely, the ducks, the pig, and especially the friendly emu. I even got to pet an emu for the first time!
This was such a memorable camping experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. We can’t recommend this campground enough and are already looking forward to coming back!
