Our cabins are the Hippie Trailer, which is located near the west woods near the Fairy Forest. Then the Bunkhouse just past the big barn on the north end of the property. The lodge, where the Airbnb and pool are is centrally located on the land. We rent out the lower level guest quarters for non-campers. We have a Hobbit Hut near the Frog Pond, a Boho Bus near the entry way and several Vardos (gypsy wagons). For our tent campers there are tent sites in the Eastfield, including the Movie set location of the DM Cabin, and for diehard campers the beauty of primitive pack-in/pack-out camping of Freedom Field is a joy! Feel the energy of the sacred land.
We also have SO may attractions! There are 2 stocked ponds, miles of trails, pool, Zen garden, farm animals, a library and more. Find all the portals here!

Located at the confluence of the Meramec River and Labarque Creek, my place (Matt's Place) is a ridge above a bottomland bowl of sorts.
The old iron truss bridge here is likely built in 1910 and it has a survey marker from 1932.
The creek has a nice little swimming hole, and a beach that is sometimes sand, sometimes, gravel, and sometimes a mix of both with some silt or even mud after a storm. It's peaceful down there to explore in the creek, wade while looking outward to an opening into the Meramec River. It's also fun to stand just at the mouth of the creek in the Meramec River. It's an awesome view upstream or downstream of tree lined banks, rock bluffs, and every now and then, passing boats, canoes, paddle boards, or kayaks. The old iron truss bridge hovers above the meeting of two waters. The water is cool and clean. Some fifty species of fish have been recorded in this creek, the most in all of Jefferson County and St Louis County. The bottomland has two levels, the lower bottoms down by the creek and the upper bottoms about a hundred feet from the creek. The upper bottoms has a clearing like a meadow with mowed grass.
My favorite things to do here include gazing up at a cottonwood tree that must be sixty feet tall. It's leaves in a breeze are like a thousand hands waving hello. The bottomland meadow offers just enough sky to see bats dance in the dusk air between the trees, then fireflies as it gets darker yet. Up top is where I live.
Just five miles off HWY 44 and HWY 109, at Eureka, MO, (30 minutes west of downtown St Louis, 18 minutes from Six Flags) this place sits on a ridge with great views above the Meramec River.

Pine Valley is on 43 acres of beautiful green pasture and woodland. Take a hike on one of the trails around the property or go fishing or wading on the Huzzah Creek. Spend your evening roasting marshmallows around your private campfire.
Guests will have access to the 40 acres of land surrounding them. There are two ponds on the premise. Enjoy the quarter-mile walk to the old Dillard Mill Store, displayed in museum fashion at the entrance of Dillard Mill State Historic Site. Tour the old grist mill in working form, fish for sunfish, smallmouth bass and largemouth bass at the Mill, and take memorable photos. Just across from our main entrance take the half-mile trail through Mark Twain National Forest and skip rocks on the Huzzah Creek! Ask us about access to our private gravel bar on the Huzzah. You will pass it, and the private parking, on Dillard Mill Rd on your drive into Pine Valley
We may or may not be on the premise during individual rentals. If there are any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out.
Other things to note
While this space provides most utilities and amenities you'd find at your home, it is important to note it is still a camping-style getaway. We do our best to treat the area, but you will encounter insects.
AT&T has limited cell phone reception in the area, Sprint is very spotty, and Verizon is pretty much unavailable for service. We provide the best free wifi available to help with communication back to the real world, but it is rather slow. The best wifi reception is near the General Store/Courtyard.
We try and keep the area well maintained. You may see ATVs/tractors on our property and on the gravel road.
Pets are welcome for an extra $50 per stay. Please note our dogs may be on the property. They are friendly and well-behaved, although sometimes curious. Other guests may have no-leash pets as well.
Park right next to your glamper. Arrive anytime after 4pm, just give us an eta to know when to expect you. If your glamper is not ready upon your arrival, feel free to explore our farm, visit Dillard Mill or head down to the Huzzah while we make it ready for your stay. Self Check-In is always the norm for added privacy. We won't bother you except to wave or maybe say hello if you're out and about. Please feel free to approach us with questions, niceties, or needs.

Just steps away is our shared gathering cabin, which includes a shower, kitchenette, and restroom facilities.
We live on-site and love to share the land with our guests. Cindy is a Master Gardener, and Jim is a spiritual life coach and energy worker—both are happy to offer sessions upon request. Feel free to wander through our garden and sample seasonal organic veggies, or check out the progress on our innovative underground greenhouse.
Friendly visits from our two dogs and horse are common—they love people! But if you'd prefer no animal interaction, just let us know in advance.
You’ll also find yourself close to charming wineries, antique shops, and unique boutiques like The Old Village Mercantile. We're always happy to provide recommendations to help you make the most of your stay.

Had a great time at the Sir Quincey yurt! Susan was very kind and supplied us with fire wood, cooking supplies, good water and other camping treats. The horses pigs, cats and goats were roaming around the meadow area and came to say hi to our camp, they are either shy or friendly. I braided a mane. This camp is within a half hour of awesome hiking tails, Meremec river/cavern and other cool caves.

We loved staying at the funky bunkhouse at Milo Farm. The amenities were exactly as advertised. Our kids loved the animals, they even named one of the donkeys ka donk a donk a donk. I loved having a bed to sleep in and a roof for the one rainy night. We all loved the trails and interesting things to see on the land. We definitely want to come back.

My children and I greatly enjoyed our time at Milo Farm. Everyone was kind and friendly. My children enjoyed exploring the trails, though we must return to see them all, and the Hobbit Hut was the perfect amount of whimsy we needed! Whether playing in the rain, cooking our meals on the bonfire, or naming frogs by the pond...everything felt otherworldly. It was three days of peaceful, healing energy. The animals were such a pleasure to see, the library is truly a gem, and the art studio was an immediate hit with the kids. Would highly recommend and already looking at dates for a future visit.

Weekend Trip to Milo Farm Sacred Land
The Hobbit Hut is a quaint and charming little cabin decorated with mushrooms and gnomes. It has what you need for a quite away from everything trip. The people that are around are friendly along with the animals. The trails in the forest allow you to come back to nature and just relax. It was truly a great trip to disconnect and recharge.

We just spent a fantastic weekend at Sinking Creek Ranch, and it was the perfect family getaway. We stayed in the Maple Haven yurt, and it was impressively spacious for the four of us.
One of the best parts was the "glamping" convenience—walking into a tent with the beds already made and ready to go was such a luxury. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the portable AC/heat unit did a great job keeping us cozy during the chilly nights and cool during the warmer days. Having a fridge, microwave, and Keurig right inside made the mornings so much easier with kids.
The vibe here is pure quiet seclusion. Our two young boys had a blast playing in the creek (which was about ankle-deep near the bathhouse and knee-deep a bit further down), which gave my wife and me some much-appreciated quality time together.
The hosts truly went above and beyond. They were extremely helpful, even lending me a tool I’d forgotten at home so I could remove my car's luggage carrier. Their local recommendations were spot on—they pointed us toward a great fishing hole and a perfect swimming spot just 10 minutes down the road.
The absolute highlight: The first night under the stars. The sky is incredibly dark out there, and seeing that many stars reminded me of growing up in the country. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-equipped escape, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

I've been many times, I love Milo Farm! The hobbit hut is my favorite spot, the fire pit seems to always have just enough shade. We will be back hopefully many times this year.

2 nights at Milo Farm Sacred Land
Good value, I just wish that the air conditioner had worked for the entire stay, that the out door Christmas lights were working and there were no mouse droppings on the beds, but all of that is expected since we are basically on a farm. Take care of your trash/leftover food because the donkeys will scatter it if you don’t take it to the recycling/trash sorting place! The land was great and we enjoyed the time together. Would recommend for people who have kids and don’t want to put up a tent.

Everything is amazing !!! it was beautiful. It was quiet. The bathrooms were super clean. They even left cold water in the little refrigerator that was provided. They had a fire starter for the fire. They thought of everything. It was a beautiful beautiful place.

What a perfect getaway! From the calming sounds of the creek just across the yurt to the breathtaking sight of stars and horses, it’s clear this land is deeply cared for and truly loved. The location offers everything you could need, whether you’re visiting in the off season or peak season, and the owners strike the perfect balance of being helpful while still giving you space to relax. The yurt, cooking amenities, and outdoor areas were spotless and thoughtfully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I’ve already shared this site with many friends, it’s such a beautiful and cozy spot that I couldn’t help but recommend it.

We loved the tent! Very clean bedding and interior as well as very clean bathrooms. Bathroom and showers were a very short walk from the tents, and we had the furthest one away. It got down to ~35 F at night at mid 60s during the day and we had no problems staying warm. There are a handful of public hiking trails ~45 mins from the site, but not much else in the surrounding area. They do have trails on their property, but we didn't get a chance to try them. One thing I'd have liked to know, there is about ~12 miles of gravel roads leading to the site which tends to slow leaving and coming back, and could potentially send rocks up to your vehicle. Overall, we would highly recommend visiting, we had a great time!

We stayed in Wandering Willow and had an awesome time. We were able to park right up next to the tent, which made unloading and setting up super easy. We even set up an awning and cooked off our tailgate setup, and it felt like the perfect mix of glamping comfort and real camping vibes.
The common bathhouse deserves a special shoutout—sparkly clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with extra little amenities (things like water bottles and coffee creamers) that make a big difference.
Overall, this was a fantastic camping experience and we’d absolutely come back.
Only minor note: the tents are fairly close together (around ~200 feet apart), and with less tree cover in this season, it wasn’t as private as it might be at other times of year. That said, it didn’t take away from how great the stay was.

The Farm is very beautiful and hospitable. Hobbit House was clean, comfortable and easy access to everything Milo Farms offered! Everywhere I went was magical. The animals were happy and well cared for. Everything was just perfect.
