Sunset Mountain is an exclusive reservation only 18+ clothing optional/nudist campground located on my working cattle farm. We are not a place for partying or any sexual activity or PDA. We are a place to relax and enjoy nature. (Please do not drive up to our gate and try to get in. Please make a reservation in advance.) Although we cater to adults only we follow AANR guidelines for social nude recreation. If you are not familiar with AANR you can do a quick internet search and see some basic guidelines for social nude recreation. Sunset Mountain does typically operate as a blind service venue meaning we do business online and we and or our maintenance team may not be seen during your stay. We have a good team in place to help your stay be enjoyable please just understand we don’t operate like some of the nudist clubs you may be used to. Sunset Mountain is a nice quiet place to relax and work on your tan. We have RV sites, tent camping areas and overlanding sites. As lodging options we have a converted bus and shipping container. The campground has a bathroom facility with indoor shower and seasonal outdoor showers. We have a hot tub, sauna and propane grill guests can use year round along with hiking trails in the summer and two pools. Sunset Mountain is near the Elk River in Noel Missouri and close to Northwest Arkansas where there are mountain biking trails, museums and many other activities. Sunset Mountain is listed on the Monarch Butterfly Waystation registry as well. We are located 1.2 miles away from the Noel city park that has free Elk River access, 4 miles to Mt. Shira free Elk River access near Shady Beach and 5.2 miles to the free Elk River access in Pineville, MO near Shady Beach Pineville. If you are not tech savvy enough to use this platform our facility may not be for you.

Our four free range lovable dogs, colorful chickens, silly geese and goofy turkey Hammerstein, are usually part of the fun of your stay. We have a 3 acre lake with kayak and paddle boat and dock as well as a spring fed wet weather creek. Our mission is to grow our own organic food and to live as sustainably and mindfully as possible in connection with Mother Nature. A unique and rustic place to stay under the stars. Loved the outdoor gathering space and big fire pit. We were hoping for warm showers, and unfortunately the shower was not working as indicated in the listing. The toilet was also leaking.

Sleep in a comfortable Queen bed. There are USB plugs on the nightstands for your electronics along with a sound machine.

We stayed at the Bunkhouse for 2 nights but easily could've stayed much longer. The land was peaceful, serene, and greatly enjoyed from the perfectly setup covered porch. The porch was completely furnished and the fan made it 100% comfortable in the 90 degree heat. We loved watching the horses and cattle graze and even saw an armadillo wandering by at night. The inside had everything you could ever want for any stay away from home. We were pleasantly surprised by how stocked up they were on toiletries, towels, kitchen supplies, even coffee and filters. The decor was FABULOUS!! We LOVED the cowboy/western theme throughout. They just thought of everything when it came to decor and supplies. We can't wait to come back!!!! Be sure to sign the cow/alien guestbook by the tv!

The Lakeside Cabin at Whispering Pines was the perfect setting to celebrate our anniversary. The well designed cabin was comfortable, with nature’s theatre entertaining us through the wall of windows. Waking up with daylight, birds, squirrels, and rabbits really make morning coffee so much better! Morning bonfire and evening hike help to reconnect with a peaceful mind. We brought our own food, found everything we needed stocked by Luke and Wendy, and stayed there the long weekend wanting for nothing. We highly recommend this special getaway!

Sunset Mountain is a beautiful place. The Jesus Bus was an awesome place to stay. We left our own messages on the walls like others have when they stay there. Pool was very refreshing and the guest were all friendly. The host family was very inviting and we hope to be able to go there again sometime. Nice place to get away from the hussle and bussle of life.

Weekend Trip to Sunset Mountain

We spent a weekend here and the facilities were great. Our favorite was the pool/deck and the sauna. The A/C in the container was a nice break from the summer heat.

2 nights at Ozarks Piney Bend Riverfront

My husband and I stayed with our 1 yr old pup in June- and wow. What an absolute gem of a stay! Lacey has thought of everything to make your getaway effortless and cozy. The bed was deliciously comfortable, piled high with cozy pillows, light and heavy blankets and extra throws. The kitchen was outfitted with everything you could need to prep a basic cabin dinner. The outhouse was clean and inviting, well lit and had excellent instructions for how to use the composting toliet. The woodfire hot tub was amazing and the lavendar and chamomille sachet was an adorable touch. But above all of that was the EXCELLENT communication we had with Lacey prior to, and throughout the entire trip. She kept us updated on water levels, worked with us on scheduling a float and was generally just spectacular on every level. The weather threw us for a loop, but even with Mother Nature making the trip a challenge, we still had a magical time and would 100% suggest this location to anyone who asked. We will be back!

Weekend Trip to Dally Ridge Ranch - Barnabus

We had a relaxing time and enjoyed the beautiful scenery all around. The cabin was nice and cozy and the perfect place to hang out while it was raining. As well as good proximity to multiple good lake spots, would highly recommend if your visiting the area 👍

I spent a few days staying at this absolute gem. The space is layed out very well. The hot tub was amazing! I am so glad I chose this place for my first Hipcamp experience. Lacey has done an amaozing job on this cabin. The twinkle lights all of it create a magical ambaince even when it was raining the front porch looking over the river was so beatuiful. I will absolutely be back!!

Weekend Trip to Cairn Cottage~kayaks~hot tub~LOZ

Cottage was quaint and cozy and super clean; Hannah is an excellent communicator; thorough amenities throughout the property. Perfect getaway for the weekend! Highly recommend giving Cairn Cottage a stay if you’re in the neighborhood.
