Voss Park Campground stands out as a unique destination, offering a vibrant community atmosphere where visitors can connect and create lasting memories. While the park is famously known for hosting the Butterfield Threshing Bee, it also serves as a lively venue for various events, including the Butterfield Summer Sizzler, family reunions, birthday celebrations, and church services. With its scenic walking path around the lake, a playground for children, and numerous benches for relaxation, Voss Park truly has something for everyone. The campground features a variety of campsites, some equipped with electrical and water hookups, while others provide a more rustic experience without modern conveniences. This inviting campground fosters a sense of community, with group potlucks, a festive Fourth of July celebration, and engaging weekend activities like bean bag tournaments that welcome participants of all ages. As you enjoy your stay, be sure to keep an eye out for Rosie, who will keep you informed about the exciting activities planned for the season. For those looking to explore the park, golf carts and other non-road licensed vehicles are permitted in the campground, provided they have a city permit, which costs $15 and requires proof of insurance upon registration. To protect the park's beautiful trees from the Emerald Ash Borer, firewood is available
