This fun property is just under 7 acres - butted up to another 12 acres of public land (and boat launch) with trails, boardwalk and a dock on 51 acre Lake Eleven. The property is shared by (2) full-hook up RV sites and a cabin. If available, the cabin and sites may be rented together however the owners, Jim and Maria, use the cabin much of the summer leaving just the RV sites available. The property is at mile market 13 of the Kal-Haven Trail - the midpoint. The Kal-Haven Trail is a biking, cross-country skiing, walking, running, snowmobiling - you name it, the trail that goes 34 miles from Kalamazoo to South Haven. Literally steps from the property and you are on the trail. But you may not need to leave the property, with 6.3 acres of woods and field, with trail cut through PLUS the added public lands butted up to Tincan's property line, giving almost 20 acres to roam. Each RV site - far enough apart to be separate, close enough if you and friends/family want to camp together, has a fire pit and fireplace. Each RV site offers water, 30|50AMP electrical and septic. The dock may have availability for keeping you boat - please inquire. There are kayaks and some bikes (mostly teen and adult size) that may be used. These are shared amenities for the cabin and campsite guests and offered on a first come, first serve basis. This was a run-down fishing cabin Jim and Maria lovingly brough back to life as a second home and they delight in sharing it. Our property is at the end of a private road and has been in the family for decades. We fondly refer to it as One Grand Place and we are excited to be sharing it with you. Our Premium RV site has a cement pad, parallel to the river. Can accommodate 1 RV up to 30' (NO Class A's allowed). 30/50/standard 110 electric and water hookup. Pump out is available for a fee. At the very far west end of the property is a large grassy area with 2 sites (1 RV or Tent and 1 Tent only) perpendicular to the river. Both have 30 and standard 110 electric and water. There is plenty of room to set up games, fish, play with the kids or the dogs, etc. What's not to like? It is your very own exclusive home away from home. Property is adjacent to Connor Bayou County Park and surrounded by natural wetlands. So, we are a perfect place to unwind, chill, enjoy fresh air and picture perfect sunsets. Boating, swimming, jet skis, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing are just a few things to be enjoyed on the water. There's a public boat launch just a couple minute ride and Connor Bayou Park has a kayak specific boat launch. Or, you can also drop a kayak in at the very west end of our property right from shore. Hiking, biking and wildlife/bird/eagle watching are also options. Lake Michigan beaches, various state/county parks, downtown Grand Haven's shops and restaurants are just a short drive away. Holland is about 30 minutes south. PJ Hoffmaster State Park is 25 minutes North. If you are a thrill seeker, Michigan's Adventure Amusement and Waterpark is 40 minutes North in Muskegon. Grand Rapids is 40 minutes to the East. There are also many wineries, distilleries, ciders and craft beer in Southwest Michigan as well as "you pick" blueberries and many festivals in the summer. Bottom line....there is plenty of things to do and see during your visit. You can be as active or as chill as you want to be.

Heavily wooded forest with pine, maple, oak and birch. Undeveloped and quiet. The property is home to numerous bird species, deer, wild turkeys and squirrels. Occasional howls from distant coyotes and infrequent raccoons. The campsites are located on a hill dominated by tall pines overlooking the east facing property. Secluded, but only a 700 feet from the main residence. Only 1 1/2 miles P.J Hoffmaster's State Park and a 10 minutes ride to Grand Haven State Park/Lake Michigan. Campsites are rustic but we provide camp toilets, a picnic table and a waste container. Fresh water is available at the barn. We also provide a shelter with picnic tables and a charcoal park grille. A large community fire pit is available with wood provided for a small cost by the hosts. When arriving please drive to the end of the driveway towards the last house. The Flipside Acres sign will be on your right side. Drive down the gravel entrance and park where indicated by the red barn. There's room for 3 tents: (or a couple LARGE family tents!:) 10'x'14' tent spots, 6'x8' tent spot, & if necessary, room for a small 2-person backpacking/solo tent We also have 1 very large "family" tent, 2 air mattresses & 2 sleeping bags available for rent! We just popped in for a quick night on our trip across the country. The place seemed perfect for us and was right off the highway. There's no sign for the driveway but the GPS basically takes you right to the entrance in case you're worried about driving into the wrong driveway like I was. Otherwise no issues and the host was promptly responsive.

Christopher’s spot worked perfectly for us. My husband and I drove our motorhome three hours hours to Grand Rapids to listen to Doug Tallamy (Author of Nature’s Best Hope and founder of Homegrown National Park) at the Sherman Street Church just 12 minutes away. When we arrived at Michigan Cherry Tree it was as simple as pulling into the driveway. The spot was perfectly level and Chris had the extension cord ready for us to plug in to. We joined hanging around the fire pit for a bit before heading to bed. Slept well and arose the next morning to enjoy time hanging out in the beautifully planted yard with all the flowers, hummingbird, butterflies, bees and other pollinators. We will definitely stay again next time we visit Grand Rapids.

We had such a great stay at this campsite! The location is ideal—close to wineries and breweries, yet still very peaceful and private. Katelynn was wonderful to work with and quick to respond to any questions we had, which made the whole experience stress-free. The site itself had plenty of space, making it easy to get our travel trailer in and out without any hassle. Overall, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the area—we’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely loved our stay on Doug and Kerri's property! The views are just stunning! And to be right there on the Grand River was really a huge privilege, no crowding, it's quiet and you have big solid fire pit. You can fish directly from your site. The property is beautifully maintained and Doug and Kerri think of it all when it comes to providing amenities (Grill, Cornhole, games, firewood, outhouse, solar shower, pump out service, etc...). They are great about communicating and getting you to the property and set up. I am so glad we stayed here and I sure wish I lived closer as I would be there often. Highly recommend!

Following my review on the main campsite, this one was a great addition for my larger group. Scott helped us back in our pop-up camper. There’s a few different ways to park your camper if it is similar to our pop-up. The extra site has its own picnic table and fire pit. Close enough to the main site to feel like you’re camping together, but far enough to feel private as well. Full hook-ups were available as stated in the listing. Would definitely recommend to larger groups!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a very pleasant experience at Forest Haven Camping. The grounds were clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by beautiful nature that made it easy to relax and unwind. The atmosphere was peaceful, and it truly felt like a little getaway from the busy city life. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were convenient and tidy. It’s also a wonderful place to bring a dog — plenty of space to walk, explore, and enjoy the outdoors together. Highly recommend.

Thank you Doug & Kerri for being so responsive and for your recommendation to Crossroads Blueberry Farm, we loved their pie, donuts and Blueberries! You can tell by the care you take in your site by how clean you maintain it, and that’s appreciated. While we didn’t use the portable shower, my husband used the porta potty as we were leaving he mentioned it was clean and had a surprisingly (and appreciated) pleasant odor ;) Thank you for all of your help, your rv site is just what we needed. We hope to come back again!

Close to town, quiet, secluded, on the river!! 10 minutes from MTB single track 20 minutes from the lake 15 minutes from breweries/restaurants Right on the river with easy access for swimming On site amenities: Electric 30 amp, 12v Porta poddy Water hookups - didn't use Shower area - nice to not have to break ours out. Grill- nice again to not have to break ours out. Table with chairs, along with a picnic table. Picnic table dedicated to our site. Games - didn't use but nice addition. Hard not to relax at this place with the setup Doug and Kerri have. Enjoy!

Such a great location! Doug was super kind when getting us settled in, and Kerri was always so prompt when we were in the planning and staying stages of our trip. Location was great- close enough to do our daily activities but not feeling like we were stuck if we wanted to pop into town. Space was wonderful, it didn’t feel like we were camping on top of other guests. Would camp here again in a heartbeat!

Nice place for the family. There’s a large lake/pond with water toys and a swimming pool and jungle gym for the kids plus a ping pong table, fuze ball, and pool table. There’s shade where the RV’s park and picnic tables and firepit The management staff is very helpful and friendly.

Words can’t explain how much I’ve enjoyed my time on Jim’s property. It’s hard to travel for work as a young man but I found my time off from work was extremely enjoyable on Jim’s property. I spent a lot of my evenings down by the lake, extremely calm and beautiful with lots of kayaks and other fun water gadgets free for my use. Jim was hospitable like no other as well, whether it’s a friendly chat or advice or him helping you with your camp setup. The property is beautiful and the privacy and quietness made my time here so relaxing. The amenities such as the roller slide, frisbee golf, and lake toys made the time very fun and exciting as well. Not enough can be said about Jim and how he runs his camp.
