This is an intentionally rustic site so guests can truly unplug from the daily rush of life.
You will enter from a private drive and follow the trail markers to the cabin. Other markers will guide you through the hiking trails on the property.

This is a great space for artists, writers and those looking for peace and space to relax amongst the tall pines and listen to the birds sing.
Newaygo is a charming little historic town with the Muskegon River flowing through. Visit the local shops and restaurants or explore the nearby trails and Manistee forest or spend time fishing or kayaking on the Muskegon river. The Dragon Trail is a popular biking trail featuring beautiful views of Hardy Pond.

We have an 80 acre homestead on a dirt road with clear, flat places to park an RV or vehicle and woods for camping or hiking. Portable Toilet serviced weekly and potable water is central to the sites. Trash containers with trash bags are at each site. NO HOOK-UPS ARE AVAILABLE. Expect NO or LIMITED cellular service.
One Travel Trailer or up to Three Tents accommodated per site. Sites are flat with moss/grass on sand terrain. One vehicle allowed on each site, parking lot for additional vehicles is available.
This is a PEACEFUL AREA with loud music, noise and entertainment DISCOURAGED. QUIET HOURS ARE 11PM - 8AM DAILY. CONTINUOUS USE OF GENERATORS IS DISCOURAGED.
Weather is typical for West Michigan with occasional winds and rain, we are on sandy terrain so ponding is very limited. WILDLIFE regularly includes Deer, Turkeys, Raccoons and Possum. Black Bear sightings are rare but not a common occurrence.

Welcome to our little slice of heaven along the Grand River in Grand Haven, MI. Voted one of the best places to visit in '22 and '23. Our property is at the end of a private road and has been in the family for decades. We fondly refer to it as One Grand Place and we are excited to be sharing it with you.
We have 2 parcels of land. Each would be just for you and only you. It's like having your very own private property when you are here.
One parcel has only 1 RV site with a cement pad, parallel to the river. Can accommodate 1 RV up to 30' (NO Class A's allowed). 30/50/standard 110 electric and water hookup. Pump out is available for a fee.
At the far west end of the property is our second parcel with 1 very large grassy RV site along the river with 30 amp and standard 110 electric and water. RV up to 30' (NO Class A's). Pump out is available for a fee.
If you don't have an RV, no problem. Rent our elevated popup RV.
There is plenty of room to set up games, fish, play with the kids or the dogs, etc. What's not to like?
Property is adjacent to Connor Bayou County Park and surrounded by natural wetlands. So, we are a perfect place to unwind, chill, enjoy fresh air and picture perfect sunsets.
Boating, swimming, jet skis, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing are just a few things to be enjoyed on the water. There's a public boat launch just a couple minute ride and Connor Bayou Park has a kayak specific boat launch. Or, you can also drop a kayak in at the very west end of our property right from shore.
Hiking, biking and wildlife/bird/eagle watching are also options. Lake Michigan beaches, various state/county parks, downtown Grand Haven's shops and restaurants are just a short drive away.
Holland is about 30 minutes south. PJ Hoffmaster State Park is 25 minutes North. If you are a thrill seeker, Michigan's Adventure Amusement and Waterpark is 40 minutes North in Muskegon. Grand Rapids is 40 minutes to the East. There are also many wineries, distilleries, ciders and craft beer in Southwest Michigan as well as "you pick" blueberries and many festivals in the summer. Bottom line....there is plenty of things to do and see during your visit. You can be as active or as chill as you want to be.

At the risk of giving away our new favorite camping spot, this was THE BEST place! Beautiful, secluded camping spot that was the perfect fit for two humans & two pups (one of which had never been camping before so we were knew a more private spot would be best). Felt rustic but with all the amenities you could need - bathroom access, but more importantly a really cool outdoor taproom lol. The food at the farm was also good- kept us from having to cook and worry about carrying in food. Shout out to Mike for being so helpful & hospitable! There are also lots of good places to hike/explore within an hour or less of the camp.

Jim’s place was the perfect spot for our Michigan getaway! Our campsite was incredibly clean and wonderfully private. Having the Biergarten just a minute’s walk away was a huge bonus—they had a fantastic drink selection, and the food from the food truck was phenomenal. We were pleasantly surprised how amazing this property was! Our spot was the one that had power and was located at the edge of the wooded area. We explored the trails and found the other campsites tucked way back in the woods, super private and so scenic! There’s a zip line, horseshoes, a shelter with picnic tables and lights, a huge fire pit and all kinds of little surprises here & there (like Bigfoot feet). Bob & Vicki did an outstanding job making this place stand out. We will definitely stay here again!
